Sold. Rejected. Reassigned. I was supposed to serve a pack that wanted nothing but obedience. When I refused to break, they sent me to the Omega Reassignment Center . . . a place where they strip you down and rebuild you into the perfect omega.
But I’m not the kind of omega they can fix. I’m heatless and I'm broken.
Now they’ve labeled me defective and sentenced me to the heat dens . . . for a lifetime of servicing random alphas in rut. I won’t let that happen.
I run.
But they send their favorite enforcer to track me down—and when the storm hits, we’re stranded with his pack, snowed in and surrounded by secrets.
I won’t be tamed. He won’t let me go. And the bond none of us wanted is growing stronger with every breath.
Liked it better than the first book but still not as good as I’d hoped. The men’s reasons for disliking omegas and belief that the center was a good place was not that convincing and the lack of names when the POV switches was confusing.
I get the men each dislike omegas for different reasons but I struggled believing they didn’t know what was really going on at the center, especially with River. He literally watched a guard threaten an Omega at the center with an electric prod but later in the book says that omegas are just being taught to be better omegas and want to be spoiled, whatever that means? They all setup the place’s security system but didn’t understand it’s pretty much a prison when seeing the conditions and cells in the basement? It’s one thing if they didn’t have exposure to the place and didn’t understand how bad it was but from what they’d had to have seen it didn’t really seem to mesh.
Also, the story really needs some editing, for example: - There were some words were mixed up, names mixed up and times when it looks like they likely combined a couple sentences and words were left in that should have been removed - Something is missing between chapter 14 and 15. We’re sitting on the sofa with Orion and Archer, with them asking what happened to her at the center. The next chapter opens with her having been shoved on the bed by River and him stating he told her something about his brother dying but that conversation never happened. I’m pretty sure we’re missing a chapter - The name of whose POV you’re reading from isn’t listed. I don’t get why nobody editing the book called this out. Every chapter you have to figure it out from context clues which takes you out since unless it was River I had to figure out whose name did they not say on the page so I could determine whose POV it was. Some chapters are easier than others but such a silly thing to leave out. If you’re going to switch POVs you’ve gotta include the name, especially when it’s more than 2 characters you’re swapping between.
I’m a fan of angsty omegaverses and even though I didn’t love the first one I wanted to give this one a chance. I was bummed when the release was delayed a week but I think they should have spent some more time editing before releasing.

The first book I liked the writing STYLE but not the actual plot. Thought I would give it another try but this was just another story romanticizing abuse. The fmc deserves so much better.
The alphas are awful. The fmc drops hints about the abuse she faces OVER AND OVER and yet they STILL send her back to get SA'd. Even after she told her that was what would happen if she went back...

First, I read the first book, and although I had some issues with it, overall, it was good. I like Quinn, I felt her pain and despair. I absolutely hated River. I don't think I've ever disliked an apha that was part of the pack so much. There were interesting elements that definitely were different than other books in this genre. The men are not involved. They are much more like roommates. They aren't experienced, sort of speak, and are just kind of awkward, which can be endearing in itself. Here's my oh, hell no moment, though. I get Quinn is hurt. I get it. I'm just not about the manipulation and games. Either you trust or you don't. Stay or go. Don't manipulate and play games. They came for her, and they said the words and showed with actions. She decides to "test" them. Like what ??? This is where the story felt a part for me. That isn't love. And if you think that you have to test your mate(s) than, please do yourself a favor and grow up before you enter in a mature relationship. I hated this component and ruined it for me.
This just scraped into the 4 star category for me. It’s actually a 3.5 but I bumped it to 4. Why? Well the fact that it feels like the author doesn’t use an editor or a team to beta read and point out mistakes and/or plot holes. The story had great bones but I feel it could have been elevated by a couple more scenes including a serious punishment form the guards at the ORC. I also think Kade waited too long to hack into systems at the ORC and it felt like an after thought.
To the author: don’t stop writing, but do get a team of readers to point out mistakes for you to edit.

These MMC were not redeemable. At least one knows exactly what is happening in the "centers" and another has full access to the security cameras so could have looked in and seen it to prove her "wrong" at any time and didnt.
They send her back to be abused knowingly. She is SA'd on page and it's brushed off by the "Alphas" and they offer her no help for the years of abuse she suffered. She should have left their asses.
This book was a lot less detailed and story lined than the first book. It was also a lot less emotional. I loved the first book in this series and was so excited for this one. I feel a bit letdown. It felt like the author was just rushing through it.
This book is quite heartbreaking but the slow road to redemption of the dumb alphas is worth the read. Every bit as good as the first book in the series. I look forward to more in this world.
DROPPED. This should be labelled REVERSE HAREM, the blurb was extremely misleading. Such a waste! If this wasn't RH, I'd eat it up like a birthday cake!
This book was okay for a quick, easy read. There was drama, but it seemed to be very muted, much like the whole storyline. Not the worst book, but not the greatest either!
