While the woman he chose to carry his baby is off traveling the world with his little brother, Tri’Mar “Trio” Deramedi is drowning in baby bottles, dirty diapers, and sleepless nights.

A wealthy businessman learning how to juggle his new role as a single dad, he quickly learns that even with money, status and legacy on his side; he can’t outrun the ache of loneliness or the dream of a family. Becoming a father through surrogacy gave Trio purpose; but he’s still craving a love that consumes him – love like his Parents share.

Pediatrician Diara “Dior” Kensington is more than her polished title and white coat. Behind her calm exterior is a woman who’s clawed her way out of darkness. After surviving abuse, loss and suffering multiple miscarriages that nearly destroyed her, Dior finds peace in caring for children; even when her body won’t let her have her own. Love, to her, is a threat wrapped in pretty words – until she meets struggling single father Trio.

Ay’Lynn Shepherd teaches parenting classes by day and collects sexual conquests by night. She’s had enough pain; so, she prefers pleasure instead – never letting anyone too close, until Trio stumbles into her classroom.
Two survivors, both shaped by men who broke them.

This single father romance is filled with chaos, healing and second chances. Redemption is earned by those who are willing to let their past build them, not break them. Sometimes, love doesn’t knock, it breaks the door down; dragging your past inside to see if you have the strength to fight for what’s truly meant to be.

1.5 stars….it ended exactly how I figured it would when I was halfway through with a little extra drama that didn’t make sense.

SPOILERS AHEAD

So Trio randomly meets 2 girls a Dr and a counselor to help him attempt to navigate life as a single father. He randomly starts sleeping with the counselor and she likes to be degraded - now in my mind that would raise red flags especially since we barely know each other and you want me to call you every thing but a child of God 🚩. Once Trio figures out she only wants the D he starts trying to heavily entertain Ms Dr Lady (DL). Counselor Ma’am (CM) sees him out to dinner with DL and shows her behind something serious.

So CM is like I’m cool on you I was falling but I see you moved on. DL is like I’ll be around when you figure out life.

One day Trio is headed to his lil Father support group and walks in to CM being assaulted and beats dude to a pulp. Mr. Bad Guy (BG) begins stalking Trio. Lo and behold he’s DLs abusive ex…..now this is where is doesn’t make senses. So BG is DL’s former abusive spouse but he’s in a class for single fathers. DL doesn’t have any kids so there’s a hole in the story - granted a splurb says it’s for fathers behind on child support too. But he also slept with CM, now we have a whole unnecessary Charlie Foxtrot 😒

BG kidnaps DL and CM lures Trio to Cams place of business shoots CM in the shoulder and after some ruckus DL shoots BG in the head

Why I gave it 1.5 stars - the story was rushed and the backstory didn’t make sense. Also the admission of what happed to the female characters was way too quick, like they barely knew Trio and they telling him about their deepest darkest trauma. I think not.

Trio

This man...he was still frustrating me a little. As the oldest, he sure had some dumb moments. Like why get involved in a physical situationship when you know you looking for something real. What made me mad is this chick literally said she wanted nothing more than physical and got butt hurt when she sees him out with someone else. Honestly, she needed to do some serious healing from damage already done to her. I think if Trio knew her issues ahead it wouldn't have gone beyond friendship. Dior...sis was good in my book. She had her own demons, but she kept herself going. Now the Big Homie showed up for these two and proved to them miracles do happen and sometimes you just have to be patient! I really hope Loco's hea is really special because he deserves it. Happy Reading Y'all!.💋

🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I loved this spin off so much. I’m happy Trio found love with Dior. I know he was heartbroken over Zenary and even Forest but as his mother told him they were only meant to be in his life for a season and the love he fell into with Dior was his forever love. Even As’lynn was there to show him what a relationship wasn’t supposed to be. She had too much trauma and only she could heal herself. Another great read O’sharra.

loved this one

Awww Trio! He’s so sweet and deserving. I’m glad he found Real love in Dior. I thought Ay’Lynn was going to be Ziggy’s stepmom, but she wasn’t ready for that type of responsibility. It’s crazy how Rocko was the one who Dior ran from. I kind of knew it was him. Glad they survived his attack. I’m ready for Loco to get his happily ever after now.

Demons

Life is full of choices and challenges we can heal from your past experiences or ride a merry-go-round repeating the same cycle.

O’Sharra pulled from the first person narrative that will give you a sense of healing in different ways.

Single Father

If you read Womb for Three, this book follows Trio’s journey as a single father and his attempt at finding love. He’s gonna make you want to strangle him again but our boy finally gets his act together.

I enjoyed this read. It was nice to have a support group for single fathers! Its never good to mix business with pleasure. AyLynn was so broken and hard on herself. It was a small world to find out about Rocko's present and past situation! I loved the ending. Love always prevails.

The true heart 💜 of a broken man that suffers out loud is an everyday occurrence that nobody wants to talk about….you’re right O’sharra, bringing this to light 💡 was absolutely necessary…. I’m looking 👀 my loco 😜. Great job 👏

Trio needed this comeback

This was a much needed story. Enjoyed every aspect of this book. The love, acceptance. Healing and knowing it’s okay to move one with no animosity.
