Welcome to Haydon Falls, home to the beautiful Kanfield Orchards – and four smokin’ hot Kanfield brothers!
Lyndsay
Nick Kanfield.
My high-school math tutor.
The oldest Kanfield brother.
I’m only back home to take my mind of the divorce. It’s been fifteen years and of course I run straight into the sexiest of all the Kanfield brothers. . .
I always liked Nick, but only as a friend. My teenage heart was drawn to bad boys. I even married one.
But seeing Nick for the first time in so long? I might just have to reconsider my own rules... Because, boy, did he grow up hot.
Nick
She was the head cheerleader. I heard she even married that jerk, the quarterback of the football team.
I was just some quiet guy who tutored her in math and pined after her all these years.
And now she's back home in Kanfield, and she looks incredible.
And I can’t help think, I'm not that nerdy math guy anymore – I’m on track to make partner at my law firm in New York.
And watching her sexy smile as she blushes at me, I think, what if I finally have a shot with hottest girl in Kanfield?

Such a cute small town romance! Perfect for the fall because the MMCs family owns an apple orchard. I really enjoyed that these high school crushes finally give each other a chance after 15 years! I didn’t love the exhusband getting involved and causing problems.
Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this as an ARC!

Keep My Heart is the first book in the steamy small-town Haydon Falls series by Allie Everhart. If you love Laura Pavlov, Corinne Michaels, and D.E. Haggerty, you’ll love meeting the four gorgeous Kanfield brothers! My Thoughts Such a cute small town romance! Perfect for the fall because the MMCs family owns an apple orchard.. She was the popular cheerleader, he was a nerd (literally her math tutor) but they always had a little something for each other & that crush reignites nearly instantly. I loved Nick’s family & how ambitious he was. I also loved how much chemistry they had from the very start. If you love second-chance romance, small-town charm, and characters who feel like old friends, this book is a must read Thanks NetGalley, Embla Books and Author Allie Everhart for the complimentary copy of "Keep My Heart" I am leaving my voluntary review in appreciation. #NetGalley #EmblaBooks #AllieEverhart #KeepMyHeart ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked the premise of this book and had high hopes for it, but it missed the mark for me. High School Tutor, Nick, and Cheerleader, Lindsay, both moved out of their small town after graduation. Nick became a lawyer in NYC and Lindsay married the HS football player and moved to LA. Post divorce; they run into each other while visiting their hometown 15 years after graduation. They agree to be friends and have practice dates to help Lindsay, but it becomes complicated when spark fly and old feelings from HS reemerge. I did not like the body comments made. I’m pretty sure every woman they went to high school with and meet up with present day, there is a comment about how she has gained weight since HS….. uhhhh yeah, I hope so, she’s a whole ass WOMAN now and not a CHILD anymore….
The will they won’t they was cute in the beginning but got old. At about 50%, they play with hands and there is instant regret from Nick. They have zero communication with what they want until about 70% in then, BAM, all in. The 3rd act was surprising, that is not how I thought it would go down and I enjoyed the unpredictability of it. Overall, this book was okay. It’s not one I would recommend or read again, but it has some potential to bring some happiness.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.
This book was a super fast read for me, it’s a cute, feel good, small town book. Lindsay & Nick couldn’t be more different to who they were as kids. Nick has come home to town for his mum’s birthday, now an overworked lawyer looking to make partner. Lyndsay has come back to town after her divorce and the first time they see each other since high school, is in the airport!
Tropes: ♡ small town ♡ back in the same place second chance ♡ main characters in their 30’s ♡ successful lawyer x divorcee
There were things I loved about this book - the main one being how you got to see their opinions of each other form, after all this time. She was the popular cheerleader, he was a nerd (literally her math tutor) but they always had a little something for each other & that crush reignites nearly instantly. I loved Nick’s family & how ambitious he was. I also loved how much chemistry they had from the very start!
This book is not filled with spice! It’s more of a feel good, heart felt, home town reunion with all the cozy feelings 🥹
Keep My Heart by Allie Everheart was such a heartwarming read! I absolutely loved the small-town feel—it gave me that cozy, welcoming vibe of home. Nick and Lyndsay’s story was beautiful; you could tell they were meant for each other from the very beginning. The way they reconnect 15 years later felt so real and emotional, like no time had passed.
What really stood out to me was how the book’s atmosphere reminded me of my own hometown. The apple orchard scenes in particular made me feel like I was right back at the orchard my family visits every year. It was nostalgic, charming, and filled with the kind of warmth that makes you want to keep reading late into the night.
If you love second-chance romance, small-town charm, and characters who feel like old friends, this book is a must-read!
Honestly, this book felt a little a little too fast and a bit too amateurish.
Nick and Lyndsay were in high school together and felt some unexplored attraction. he was the nerd & she was the cheerleader. Now, years later, they meet again in their hometown, and the attraction still exists. He's a successful hot shot lawyer working endlessly, and she's a broken-down divorced housewife.
Things are hot and heavy, but Nick wants to slow down, causing a rift. The third act angst was totally annoying. You're in your 30s people talk to each other, please!!!!
As characters Nick is stereotypical, runs away from small hometown kind of guy. I liked his friend Matt and his family. I cannot say I got a sense of what type of person Lyndsay was. She was just not memorable.
Thank you Embla for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
Hot Kanfield brother alert 🚨 Nick is officially my new book crush. Once the nerdy math tutor, now a big-deal lawyer with major swoon factor—and still carrying a torch for Lyndsay? YES, please. Thank you Embla for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
This had all my fave tropes: small-town gossip, orchards in the background, second-chance sparks, and a heroine realizing the “nice guy” was actually the right guy all along. A little predictable at times, but honestly? I didn’t care—I was too busy grinning.
Haydon Falls is definitely a place I’ll be visiting again (bring on the rest of the brothers 👀).
After 15 years of not seeing each other Nick and Lindsey see each other at an airport. He used to tutor her in school, he was a typical nerd, and she was head cheerleader. She just got divorced from her high school sweetheart and quarterback that did her dirty. Lindsey has to learn to trust again. Who better to help her than the guy she had feelings for in school but thought she wasn't good enough. Nick shows her how a man is supposed to treat the women they are in love with. Thankfully Lindsey starts to get back to her happy self she used to be. Of course there is drama with Lindsey's ex-husband but Nick and Lindsey are able to find there way back to each other to have an HEA. This book by Allie Everhart was a great book and i cant wait for the books that will be in the series!:)
Lily suddenly leaves town without saying goodbye to anyone, just leaving a note for her mum. 10 years later and she's back to stay. It's not long before she's back in the arms of her ex, single dad Nash.
I really enjoyed this small town, second chance romance. I loved both MCs, his little girl was just the sweetest, and the love she has for the FMC is adorable. Throw in some brotherly banter and family drama and this was a really good read I highly recommend.
I will definitely be reading the other 2 books in the trilogy once they are released.
Thank you NetGalley, the publisher & the author for the eARC
I really liked the blurb and the premise of this book, sadly it just fell a bit flat for me. It had all the makings of a great book, but so much of this book seemed to be made up of pointless to and fro conversations. Nick and Lyndsay were OK as main characters but I didn't really feel a connection to them which made it a little hard to care. If you dont like the miscommunication trope give this one a wide berth; these two just couldn't be straight with each other at all! One saving grace was the setting of the Orchard which was lovely.
A sweet small-town, second-chance romance! Lindsay is back home after her divorce, Nick’s in town for his mom’s birthday, and when they run into each other at the airport, all those high school sparks reignite. I loved the mix of nostalgia, chemistry, and the way they both see each other in a whole new light. Perfect for fans of heartfelt, feel-good romance.

I had high hopes for this book, it started off really good and super cute. Lindsay and Nick are complete opposites to who they were as kids. Once I got through about half the book, it really started falling flat for me. I didn’t really feel the chemistry between these characters, the witty conversations were great, but they just couldn’t tell each other how they felt. This book could have been so much more, it just veered of course.
Dnf’ed at 13%. Why the hell is three pages dedicated to freaking finding marinade? This book is written so oddly. I couldn’t put myself through it, also the style of writing is really hard to get into, almost felt like a manuscript.
