It was okay. Most of the plot for this installment involved a sister figure becoming a spirit.

I was trying to figure out how to pitch this to a localization company. Secret dating man?

Anyway. This volume introduces two spirits. Our cover heroine. And (some jerk).

I will keep reading this series for fun. And maybe if the final volume gets translated, I'll buy an Amazon JP card.

Que problemitas tienen los japoneses con las niñas de verdad.
Me he sentido más incómodo que otra cosa, si la historia fuera con todo adolescentes tendría unos matices menos turbios.

Well to finish this volume it took quite some time, because in some cases the plot was somewhat nonsensical.

Let's start with the absurdity of going on a date with close person, who greatly admires you. Yes, is nice to go on a date and stuff like that, but why would you wait additional two days just for the event? Wouldn't be better if the date was the next day? And let's not forget that Kotori is the commanding officer of a flying ship. Who in the right mine would leave their commander 'untreated' for two days?

The second part that was bothering me was the presence of other people while on the date. Every person with a right mind would not invite other female/male friends on a date, especially if you previously dated two of them.

But in the end everything worked out for the best, since the plot developed in such a way that the assistance of other people was needed.

Overall this volume was pretty slow paced (the 3/4 of the book a basically slice-of-life genre) and boring. The final chapter was better if you exclude the conversations to the attacker parts.

Volume 3 ended with cliff-hanger, 4 continues the arc and finishes it. It contains some of the funny dating game parts, but also reveals a bit about spirits and the Itsuka's family, showing that more is going on than meets the eye. Much like previous volumes, the story is a mix of fan service, funny character interaction/situations and an intriguing story with over-the-top destructive action. It adds some depth to the world and characters though and it makes me curious where things going to with the story.
