This was one of the best volumes so far, probably the continuation of the story, will be even better (I sincerely hope so).
So in this volume we are introduced to a new heroine, who is quite different. Her power are indeed rather strange, and her sexual orientation is different from what would you except. In the end she is a refreshing new character and is well designed (well in some case it's a replica of Tohka, only more childish and well, more lesbian :)).
We are also introduced to a new minor character Jessica, who does not appear as often, which is expected. Since she is a sort-of villain of this story. Also two old characters reappear which is jolly good. Consequently this suffer from the "screen time" of several major characters ie. Kotori and Reine.
The volume started slowly, but it quickened the paced fairly quickly with an astounding finale and a cliff-hanger.
It is time for the staple of any Japanse LN romance and dating game: the School Festival. As always in this series, it is over-the-top with 10 high schools all organising it at the same venue and competing with each other for the title of King. Of course, Shido also has to deal with a new spirit, which is not so easy since she only likes girls.
Much like the previous volumes I enjoy the over-the-top satire on LN romance and dating sims. The MC is a tad too timid at times for me, but it is necessary for the story. Cross dressing is a big part of the gag with the jokes centring on the MC and not cross dressing in general. Finally, how anybody would expect Miku to accept a loss is beyond me. Not that they had much choice, but the actions of Kotori felt a bit too unprepared to me. The volume also ends on a cliff hanger, so you might want to wait with reading until volume 7 is available.
Still, I enjoyed it and I am eagerly awaiting the release of the translation of volume 7.
