Well I completely forgot to update this book progress while reading. Usually I update it, but since I didn't want to waste my time going to the phone to write some lame-ass comment, I continued to read the book.
This book didn't bring any new characters and we've seen several characters even less than the previous novel (Reine, Kotori). But that was OK since the story only centered on Shidou and his endeavors to save Tohka with the help of Kurumi, Mana and Miku. Surprisingly Origami was also left out from a big part of the story.
Tohka's change or the so called Inversion still wasn't properly explained so I'm expecting some explanation in the next volume.
The story was very dynamic and action packed. In the end it seems that even Shidou can turned a "lesbian" spirit straight.
Shido is in a hopeless situation, and as such he is willing to make a deal with the devil, or the nightmare known as Kurumi in this case. After all, dealing with DEM to free Tohka while keeping Miku and her mind-controlled followers of his back is impossible for him alone. As previous volumes what follows is a somewhat absurd story, funny at times, with some interesting world building and character development. It uses some of the harem and dating game tropes liberally, although with enough twists to keep things fun and entertaining for me. There is a bit of drama in here (especially about Miku's background) that feels a bit out of place in what is mostly comedy, and the end conflict was a bit chaotic. Still, an entertaining read and good end to the arc.
