Summon the sun. As heir to the Summer Court, I was born to wield sunlight like a weapon. But when my father dies, the sunstone—the source of my kingdom’s power—vanishes. To claim my throne, I must retrieve it and prove my worth.
Alone and desperate to save my crown, I enter the human realm…and end up rescuing two charming, infuriating thieves from the hangman’s noose.
Nikolas is a silver-tongued scoundrel with a crooked grin and a past he won’t talk about. Dain is his brooding, silent shadow with magic in his veins and wicked skill in his hands. They claim they can help me, but I'm not sure what they want in return.
Wanting them is reckless. Sleeping with them is a mistake I only intend to make once. But when we touch, my power stirs. And when we burn together, the sunstone beckons.
Now I’m deep in the human realm, my days spent hunting the stone and my nights tangled between two men I can’t afford to fall for. Because the only thing more dangerous than loving them…is trusting them. And when you play with fire long enough, something always turns to ash.
Amy Pennza is a USA Today Bestselling Author of steamy fantasy romance. After becoming a lawyer because everyone insisted writing wasn’t a “real job,” she stubbornly wrote anyway—and is delighted to have proved them wrong. She’s grateful to spend her days crafting dirty, swoony books about magic, swords, and unforgettable characters. She lives in the Great Lakes region with her husband and five children.
The Sunbound Princess is one of my absolute favorites in the series. It’s such a refreshing read—an epic adventure with no unnecessary drama, just a beautifully told story that kept me completely hooked.
I especially adored the relationship between Ezabell, Dain, and Nikolas. Their connection was so well written—genuine, tender, and full of trust. It felt real in a way that made me care deeply about all three of them.
If you’re looking for a story that balances action, heart, and emotional depth without angst, this one is a must-read. I already want to reread it!.

I absolutely loved this book. A unique dynamic between FMC and the MMC’s in the book. A fantastic magic system and very good world building. I enjoyed the writing style and authors passion on the page. The book has suspense and tension that is absolute perfection. I had it a very good time reading this book.

I enjoyed the hell out of this book, the last in the series. I stumbled upon the first book in the series, devoured it and the second one. Then I had to wait for the last two, which I preordered based on how much I enjoyed the other books she’s written. This one didn’t fail to disappoint. Three lonely people finding happiness together. Can’t get better than that.
A reckless, radiant fantasy I never wanted to end Okay, so let me set the scene from my side: I picked up The Sunbound Princess thinking I was in for some fae court intrigue and magical adventure—but what I actually got was a sunlit, sinfully addictive journey that scorched my fingers and completely lit up my heart. First off, our girl—the heir to the Summer Court? Total sun-wielding badass. She’s not some helpless royal waiting for rescue. She walks straight into the human realm with nothing but fire in her veins and a crown on the line. And then she goes and rescues two hot-as-sin thieves from being executed like it's just another Tuesday. I mean... iconic. Now, let’s talk about the chaos duo: ✨ Nikolas—this silver-tongued rascal stole my trust right along with every scene he was in. He's that troublemaker you know you shouldn’t fall for, but damn if you don’t want to kiss the mischief off his mouth anyway. 🖤 Dain—silent, intense, wrapped in shadows and secrets. He touches her like she’s made of stars, and honestly? I was ready to melt into a puddle on her behalf. And y’all… the tension? Unholy. The chemistry? Sunstone-melting levels. The slow-burn, give-in, oh-no-we-shouldn’t-but-we-did? Chefs. Freaking. Kiss. 💋 But this isn’t just about steam and smirks (though there’s plenty of both). It’s about power, trust, duty, and the messy, impossible choices we make when our hearts refuse to listen to our heads. She has to save her kingdom, find the missing sunstone, and—maybe hardest of all—figure out if these two thieves are worth the risk of breaking not just the rules, but herself. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this world, but now I’m sunbound myself. Amy Pennza wove magic into every word, and I’m already craving the next book like it’s sunlight in winter. If you like: • Strong fae heroines who don't take sh*t • Two morally gray men who make being bad look so good • Forced proximity, forbidden feelings, and magic that reacts to lust (yes, please) • Love triangles where you don’t want to choose— then you need to read this book. Final verdict: My inner sunstone is glowing, my heart is full, and I might be just a tiny bit feral over Dain and Nikolas. Worth every. Fiery. Page. 🌞🔥.
Fabulous Finale I have been impatiently waiting for this final instalment in the Realms of the Covenant series and it was so worth the wait! I have loved all the previous books, but I think this one is my favourite. Much like the sunlight that is the source of Ezabell’s power I found this story to be sunny and playful. Which is not to say that there aren’t some very dark events in the book, but the light always manages to win out.
The Summer Court has just lost its king and as the rightful heir to the throne Ezabell must now complete the quest to find the Sunstone. Like all Pennza’s FMCs Ezabell is determined and strong, but still plagued with self-doubt as to her worthiness and ability to complete the Dokimasi. However, her sidekick Helios is always there to help ease her doubts, protect her and also add some comic relief.
And since no quest is possible without some morally grey heroes: enter Nickolas and Dain. They come as a mismatched pair that compliment each other perfectly. Dain the quiet, intense, serious one and Nikolas the smiling charmer. The love that these two characters have for each other was forged through adversity and their shared loyalty is unwavering. The playfulness and humour in this story is in no small part due to Nikolas’ cheeky demeanour and some of his encounters are snort-laugh funny. But his cheekiness conceals hidden depths that are revealed as the story progresses.
The connectedness between the 3 main characters is both emotional and magical. There are a number of 5 chili pepper scenes that, as always, Pennza writes with delicious detail. But the reader is never in doubt of the deeper emotions that prevail throughout those scenes. Ultimately it is this connectedness and depth of emotions that leads Ezabell, Dain and Nikolas to their HEA. I received a free advanced review copy from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Every so often, a book comes along that feels like it was written just for you—equal parts adventure, wit, heart, and heat. The Sunbound Princess is exactly that kind of literary treasure, and dare I say, it's my crown jewel of the Realms of the Covenant series.
Amy Pennza, bless her fiercely imaginative mind, decided to shift the spotlight this time and let Princess Ezabell take centre stage. And oh, what a delightful, overdue move that was. Gone are the days of merely watching the royal MM couple dance their courtly dance like in the previos instalment of this series—this is Ezabell’s moment, and she seizes it with the kind of quiet strength and regal sass that makes you want to curtsey and fist-pump at the same time.
This book is an epic quest in every sense: a rightful heir, a sacred stone, and the kind of journey that’s both literal and deeply emotional. But what truly makes it sing is Ezabell’s accidental, utterly delicious partnership with two thieves—Nikolas and Dain—who are as irreverent as they are irresistible. They’re not sidekicks. They’re not comic relief. They are her equals, her contrasts, her match. Complex, layered, and lovable in the most roguish of ways.
Let’s talk steam: the chemistry between this unlikely trio? Positively swoon-inducing. The kind that leaves you re-reading scenes just to feel the heat all over again. Yet it's never just about the spice (though, trust me, Pennza delivers). It's about connection, trust, and the slow burn of discovery—both of the self and of others.
What sets The Sunbound Princess apart is its elegant refusal to indulge in unnecessary drama. No petty love triangles, no overwrought angst—just a richly told story that balances emotional depth with breathtaking adventure. It's heartfelt without being sappy, thrilling without being exhausting, and full of the kind of genuine storytelling that wraps around your heart like a silken ribbon.
Ezabell’s journey is one of betrayal and belonging, of claiming a crown and finding her place—not just on a throne, but in the hearts of two beautifully broken men who adore her. And reader? I adore them right back.
This book didn’t just hook me—it heisted my heart. Long live the Princess. And long live her thieves.
Her worlds changeing ,her father passes away ,her betrothed isn't all he seems and she needs the sunstone . Tumbling out of her realm into the human one to find it she immediately comes into two men being strung up over crimes and bonds unpaid ,She feels a pull to them and pays there bonds only to have more hunters soon ambush them. Dain shares a pull of inner magic that they both have that seems to beacon them together. .. and he's Handsome, then. There is Nikolas with his sweet words that swoon almost all and there a package duo. Soon there team up in searching for her sunstone that she and Dean both need ,as Dean n Nikolas have been cursed n need it too, this adventure captured me quickly and the steamy scenes shared by all 3 are more them.swoon-worthy. Heartfelt and full of adventure and storytelling. I lost my heart to both her kind loveing thieves and totally cried in happiness towards the end . Great 4th installment.

I'll admit when I first start this book I was unsure about it. It threw me straight into the story and I wasn't sure I got what was going on. But then the story expanded and explained more and you quickly understand. Within the first couple of chapters I was hooked. The writing is superb and the world building is amazing. I love the plot of the book and the characters are all so well written, even the bad ones (bad like evil not as in I didn't like them). Dain is a strong, protective teddy bear. Nikolas is the humorous, caring one who always knows the right thing to say. Ezabell is a fierce, fearless princess who just wants to do what's best for her people. Together they create a fun, absorbing book that you won't want to put down. And the spice is great too. Hot, hot, hot but without distracting from the story. I will be downloading and starting the other books in the story asap.

The Future Queen And Two Thiefs After her father’s unexpected death Ezabell has to go on a quest to find the sunstone, the heart of the crown of the ruler of the Summer Court. Only after finding the sunstone she can become queen. Her travels bring her across The Covenant and she acquires the companionship of Dian and Nikolas. A special, magical bond develops, followed by a physical, steamy threesome. But they are being hunted by different parties and have to overcome practical and emotional problems to end up in a HEA. This series contains wonderful, exotic, romantic and thrilling adventures and I enjoyed them all. I found the earlier three books a bit better than this one, but still worth while reading. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Of the 4 voters, Summer was my favorite!! Ezabell, Nikolas, and Dani’s story as one of love, adventure, treachery, and laughter!! There were so many times that I laughed out loud and the antics of the characters, and Helios brought his own brand of comedy, even if he didn’t mean to. Each of the main character had their own tragic pasts that made their connection stronger. I didn’t want to put the book down because it was so good! The spice was SPICING and I loved that. I now need physical copies of this series to add to my collection of books. Now I want to go back and read the entire series again. I love all of Amy’s writing, but I truly think that this book is my favorite of all of her books. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read a ménage book with a well rounded story.
Sunbound Princess is the fourth book in the realms of the covenant series, and as always, Amy has us franticly flipping pages and knows how to get a girl squirming in her seat!!
The storyline is fantastic with great world-building and character development in the story of a realm that has lost its king and the sunstone. Starting a quest to find the lost sunstone, the princess rescues to two thieves from their death, two charming handsome thieves, and the Sunbound Princess are bound together by magic and lust what could go wrong?
This is one spicy book that i just couldn't put down. This is hands down my favourite book in the series. The connection and chemistry between Nickolas and Dain is intense, and then add Ezabell to mix, you'll need a cold shower.
Highly recommend this series for lots of betrayals, spice, and magic.
I loved this story of the last fae court in the Realms of the Covenant series! Ezabelle is a determined and courageous heroine on a quest for the sunstone to solidify her role as queen of the sun court after her father (the king) died. Fate has her crossing the Covenant into the human lands where her magic leads her to two thieves about to be hanged. Although she secures their release, they are in no way out of danger yet and we are swept up into an exhilarating adventure! This is an exciting, action packed read with beautifully emotional moments and seriously scorching intimate scenes. I was completely captivated from start to finish. Don’t miss this series, it’s a great read!

The Sunbound Princess is a radiant blend of magic, court intrigue, and emotional depth. As heir to the Summer Court, the stakes for our sunborn heroine are sky-high—and Amy Pennza delivers a story that’s as luminous as it is gripping.
The bond between the three main characters is stunning. Their dynamic pulled me in and kept me invested, and I loved watching all the intricate threads come together in such satisfying ways. The world-building continues to shine, and the pacing keeps things moving without losing the heart of the story.
It’s the kind of fantasy that sneaks up on you—layered, clever, and unexpectedly touching. A strong 4-star read that fans of fae courts, magical quests, and found families will adore.
This is the fourth, and I think final book of this series. Whilst I enjoyed this book, I think it's my least favourite of the 4 books. Not because it's a bad book, but I think because the ending felt a bit rushed to me. However, the story line, action and the steamy scenes don't disappoint. And I like that each story has a different character of its own. I definitely recommend reading all 4 books, but you don't need to have read the previous to enjoy this story.

Like the whole series, this one is a MMF story with some sword crossing. Ezabell is stuck in the human realm looking for the sun stone in order to claim the throne. She was pulled to save Dain and Nikolas along the way. They manage to charm their way into her heart and show that she no longer needs to be alone. This story has less drama in comparison to the others in the series. The ending was a bit anticlimactic but I still enjoyed the book.

Loved this story. Ezabell needs to find the sunstone to become the queen of the Summer Court. She will feel the Dokimasi thread leading her to it. A hanging will have her paying for the freedom of two thieves, Dani and Nikolas, because of the thread. Dani feels the thread and they both will vow to help her. Their quest will be filled with action, danger, hot steamy nights, betrayal and a happy ending. I enjoyed reading this book.

I loved this book. Another exciting book in this series. Great world building and wonderful characters. The story is fast-paced adventure with action and suspense. I loved Ezabell, Nikolas, and Dain. She recognized the two men as lovers, but a very unique forced proximity situation makes Bel very aware their attraction to her as just as strong as hers to them. These three together were hot, their chemistry fire! The story had lots of sweet bonding moments and cute banter. Interspaced humor. I liked the supporting characters, too. I was completely hooked. 5 stars
This book was really good. Amy Pennza truly delivered. I think this might be my favorite in the series, which makes it all the more bittersweet that it’s the last one.
I absolutely loved the characters and the way the realm connected to the human world. The bond between the three main characters was beautiful to witness, and their connection felt real and deep.
Ezabell’s story started out so heartbreaking, and I’m genuinely happy that the three of them found each other in the end.
Deliciously decadent and triumphant😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥!!!!!! This book swept me off my feet with the adventure and then stole my heart and carried it away…. On the wings of summer 😍😍😍
I can’t really capture in words how amazing and beautiful this book was….a triumph of good over evil…a wonderful terrible funny spicy and twisty turny adventure…a beautiful love story…
10/10 would recommend…over and over….

Ezabell needs to find the sunstone to become queen, thieves Dain and Nikolas just want to save their skins. Until things start to charge for everyone… Summer will never be the same. I truly loved this story, with its sweeping epic-ness and its high heat level. This story wasn’t as angsty as the other stories in this series, more epic journey novel than star crossed lovers, which I enjoyed immensely. A wonderfully fantastic read.
I really enjoyed The Sunbound Princess. It was definitely the spiciest book I’ve read in a while, which was just fine with me! I loved Ezabell and her little band of thieves. Nikolas and Dain were so sweet and so hot. The chemistry between all three was great, the plot was fantastic, and I loved the world-building. I only wish the book was a little longer!.

The fourth book in "The Realms of the Covenant" series. The heir of the Summer Court searching a magical heirloom; with sun magic, magical artifacts, a magical bond, lots of action, betrayal and a protective and adorable sunsprite, she finally claims her crown and on the way also her two clever, infuriating, s3xy fated mates. Fast paced, steamy, captivating and recommended.
A beautiful ending to a wonderful series! As always Amy’s MMF pairings are superior and the relationship between Ezabell, Dain, and Nickolas was so fun to watch unfold (and you’ll see what I mean by watching 👀). I love the magic system in this series and was excited to see where the Dokimasi was going to take us. This book was a fun adventure and love story rolled into one and I love every minute of it.
A nice and light-hearted tale. It reminded me of an r-rated version of the Rapunzel animation. Even better, there are 2 hot thieves instead of just one.
