8.5/10 As expected tiara became my favourite girl after this volume and she feels the most human character out of all of the main heroines who try to act like tropes instead of real people I always love the student council arc in these types of stories and this was no exeption. Seeing yanami being competitive once again against nukumizu and teasing him all the way through was pretty funny and we learned more about her character Also i appreciate the author giving us some komari screen time after a while and also interactions with her siblings. Lemon also poped off in this volume with her racing but she wasnt that vital to the plot since she already has had two major volumes that focused on her character FInally one of the reasons i like makeine so much is seeing small moments were different characters interact with each other and seeing how the act to one another. For example the senior couple meeting shiratama which was very random but fun to see. Obviously tiara shined in this volume and in my opinion she seems the most comitted to nukumizu so far and is there along side lemon for my best girl in the series. Overall amazing volume and i hope we get the next one translated more soon since it finally covers the president which we have been seeing throughout the story little by little.
A really fun volume that gives Basori some great character development—as you might guess from the cover art.
The entire arc revolves around Basori's goal of becoming the new student council president, with Nukumizu once again finding himself roped into helping the heroine of the volume achieve her goal—reluctantly, once again (part 2).
Basori's character definitely climbed up my rankings. This volume makes her far more likable than in previous light novels, especially throughout the second half (and the final part in particular).
Nukumizu remains as dense as ever, and honestly, that's about all there is to say about him.
