Fantastic first book in the War of Alien Aggression series. I can't wait to get started on the next one!

Loved the writing style. Gritty and realistic. Being a veteran, I like my military scifi to reflect reality in the way soldiers speak. I think A.D. Bloom did a great job.

2.8 stars. Starts a bit slow, but a solid story that sets the stage for an interesting story. Character development could use a bit more effort to make the reader more in their corner.
