Alexis Weaver wasn't looking for love. She just needed a place to start over. A crumbling house. A judgmental cat. And a small town that feels more like a second chance than she wants to admit. What she didn't count on was Michael Harding-- the gruff lineman with rough hands, a guarded heart, and a past that refuses to stay buried. He's too old for her. Too complicated. Too broken. And somehow, she's never felt safer than when she's standing right next to him. But healing old wounds isn't easy. And fall for someone with scars of their own might cost Alexis everything she's finally starting to rebuild. Some roads are rough. Some roads leave scars. But the right one might just lead you home.
Broken Roads is a slow burn, spicy small-town romance about second chances, stubborn hearts, and the kind of love that changes everything.

I dont know what I was expecting from this book but it made me felt so much more. Book 2 definitely made me feel some type a way, but so did this one.
From snarky comebacks to needing one another in their lowest moments. Any story where the characters see each other for who they are now and not what they were in the past is one trope I will always enjoy reading. No judgments just acceptance.
And the spice 10/10 especially the deleted scenes at the end 😎
