Have you ever wondered what the stars might say of Mr. Darcy’s silences or Elizabeth Bennet’s defiant sparkle? What if the skies held their own opinions on the affairs of Longbourn and Pemberley?
In this whimsical and thoughtful companion to Jane Austen’s beloved novel, a devoted reader of Regency romance — and a keen interpreter of the zodiac — offers astrological portraits of each character, from the most sensible to the most scandalous. The readings are entirely subjective, drawn with affection and irony, and always mindful of the social graces of 1811.
Whether you delight in Lady Catherine’s celestial ascendancy or ponder what rising sign could possibly explain Mr. Wickham’s charm, Celestial Dispositions invites you to revisit Pride and Prejudice under a new and starlit perspective.
A complete astrological portrait of Jane Austen herself — the author, the Archer, the observer supreme.

This was a freebie I paged through to see what star signs everyone was assigned to. There is no plot, just a list of characters with descriptions of their star charts. I'm not into astrology so not really conversant with all the lingo and I don't know how much of it is based on real stars that would have been seen way back when and how much was just made up on the spot.
But anyway, it's a whole another level of character research. Forget about their favourite color, the meals they hate, and the names of their first horses - here we have the entire planetary system rigged to suit their personality. Gotta respect that sort of attention to detail :)
