After a massive blackout traps her deep underground, Quinn begins a harrowing journey through dark tunnels and flooded ruins. With the world above silent and broken, she must push past pain and fear to survive. But what waits on the surface may be even worse.
This is one of the worst books I have read in a long time. Constantly explaining what the characters were thinking was boring and unnecessary. Inconsistencies in the story were numerous (a character was shot in the chest, but their arm was bandaged up), and the characters ability to repeatedly happen upon what they needed (a car just happened to contain a pistol and an extra box of ammunition) was simply not believable. I don’t believe I’ll be reading any more books by Colton Lively in the near future.
