Post – Living in the after, the events that took place over a year ago are etched in my brain. Haunting me in the worst ways imaginable.
Traumatic – Physical and psychological scars have me so wounded that I can’t get through a day without my mind swirling with constant fucked up images.
Stress – Anxiety. Panic. Rage. I’m not myself and the pain I fight through each day has made me make some really bad decisions.
Disorder – Out of control. Not fucking normal. Nowhere even close.
I say fuck Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The life I left behind is gone and everything I’d hoped to return to has been stolen away, all while I was being beaten, starved, and tortured. But being Nate Wilcox, I pick my ass up, ‘cause I’m a fucking survivor. Even if my methods are totally fucked up, it’s all I can do to keep the pain at bay.

I wasn't sure what I thought of Nate especially in the beginning where he's trying to get the girl, and he's doing extracurricular activities with another. That's kind of a red flag for me I rather have men work hard to get their women and not be doing extra activities on the side, don't get me wrong he wasn't cheating they weren't together yet but I still didn't like it. Once the little blip in the road is finished and things got to really going between him and Elaina I fell in love with him, “I’m not sure myself, but I like how you feel in my arms and how we are when we’re together.” I really enjoyed seeing the caring side of Nate, "tears fill her eyes and I grab her face, holding her cheeks in the palms of my hands. “Don’t cry, baby, I’ll take care of it.” Overall this was a good read, it was about time Nate got his story told.
What a thing of beauty! EVERY LOVE is a story of hope, acceptance, and sacrifice. This is an engaging love story about two people who are constantly fighting against their past. They shed light on each other's darkness. They chase away each other's demons, and as each day passes they slowly chip away at each other's walls, only to find bits and pieces of a broken heart inside. But with each smile, each laugh, and with each tender moment, they come closer to making one another whole again.
EVERY LOVE moved me so much. It evoked such intense emotions out of me and had my full attention from the first few pages. It broke me in the best way possible. With each chapter came one more emotion that rocked me to my core. I didn't know what to expect with Nate's story. This man has been through Hell and back getting a second chance at life, only to have his heart destroyed when coming back home. It's rare you read a story where the hero get's a third chance at life, and Collins executes beautifully with EVERY LOVE. This author always pushes all the right buttons for me, making me feel emotions that I never thought possible. I was extremely excited for Nate to get his HEA, and Collins did his story justice. It's hard to beat the first two books in this series, because those characters held such a strong place in my heart, but Nate did wiggle his way in, even after all of the frustrations I had with him, and dug himself deeper than I thought possible.
If you are EVERY looking for an emotionally gripping, real to life, beautiful love story, LK Collins is your author.

I was so happy to see Nats story being told. This story was amazing. Nate is dealing with past demons that he can't seem to let go, but when he finds that special thing in Elaina, she may be just what he needs and Nate maybe her remedy as well. two souls dealing with demons, will they allow the other to help. This story was awesome. I loved seeing a tender side to Nate. Collins did a great job. definitely a must read.
3rd book in the Every Soul Series – Book One: Every Soul – Book Two: Every Heart
I have to being by saying I have not read the other two books in this series. However after reading Nate’s story I do wish that I knew the other characters background because Nate’s story is pretty traumatic. What I learned was that Every Soul and Every Heart are Bain and Arion’s story that directly holds a tremendous impact on Nate. Having said that I did get the just of what had happened not in detail of course but it didn’t make me love this book any less.
Lets start with the cover --- dead on. The emotions held in the form of one photograph is astounding. A man fighting his demons, containing his fears and harboring his flashbacks – that is one soul destroying picture as it puts everything into perspective. Amazing ….. Nate suffers from PTSD after being held captive as a POW for over a year. We are engulfed in emotion as he remembers through flashbacks during the course of the story. His heartache and suffering is soul torturing. I admire the strength that is written into Nate’s character by Ms. Collins.
A chance encounter brings Nate hope in the form of an exquisite and determined woman named “El.” Accepting Nate for who he is due to her own past experiences something more grows between them. The past however threatens to keep them apart and falling back into a life with true happiness.
This is a great story. Of course its fiction but giving readers even a very small understanding of what soldiers with PTSD fight through on a daily basis is something that I am grateful for. My reality is a veteran who lives with this, fights to forget and remember all at the same time.
Great read and a must click in my opinion. I certainly will go back and grab the other two books up and put them on my TBR. Review to appear on Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets blog/FB.
This is Nate's story; he has come a long way since he was first introduced to us and I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about him. I knew that he had been through so much, not only with his military duty but with Arion as well. His heart was smashed, his head was not together and his emotions all over the place. He has come far from what he was, but he still isn't there yet.
To ease the pain of all that he has been through he sleeps with a look-a-like Arion, he tries to please everyone but himself and throws himself into trying to fix everything. His mom is not doing great so when she is moved into a therapy facility Nate decides he is going to move closer to her. He finds more than a house when meets Elaina though.
El, is his realtor and she too has been through the love ringer. Her last love lied to her and made her erect walls around her heart. But to her there is something refreshing and endearing about Nate and she finds herself all wrapped up in these feelings she didn't want.
I really enjoyed both of these characters. Elaina was smart and fun. Nate was damaged but has a good heart. They both have issues that need to be worked out. Elaina needs to learn to trust and Nate needs to learn better ways to protect himself. This story was a nice close to the series and I am happy that Nate was able to find his HEA after all that he has been through. The emotions were raw and the story flowed really well. You felt like you were right there with them through all the bumps in the road. And of course in true Mrs. Collins fashion, the chemistry was intense and off the charts.
If you believe in second chances, you have to fight for them and this is exactly what Nate does. He found someone special in Elaina. Just when he thought he couldn't get past his Ex, he meets his realtor Elaina. Seeing her, he is physically attracted to her at first site but once he gets to know her, he finds there is more to her than just great looks. He compromises their relationship in ways that are just unacceptable to her. When you have a problem and admit to that problem, it is only then you can move last it. Mate takes his problem head-on because he knows he does not want to live his life without Elaina. She is now his entire world and he does what it takes to keep it that way. This is a touching story of someone who suffers from PTSD but has the courage and strength to get past it.
LK did it again! Lks writing is so beautiful and smooth she never lets you down. I was so excited to read HIS story. My heart hurt for him and I truely believed he needed his HEA. And I'm so glad he got it.
I was so excited to follow up with Nate! I felt so bad for him. I mean… he fought for our country and had one of the scariest things happen to him. Then he lost everything… just completely broken.
While everything is falling apart for Nate… in this book, he gets his chance to go for a new life. Make a life… get a job, get a girl that can heal and love. It was so hard to read his story after routing for the previous books. It’s heartbreaking. He’s so reckless and just doesn’t care about anything or anyone. The PTSD was fascinating to read about “first hand.” He was lucky though, he still had a few things in his life that kept him from suffocating.
Meeting Elania could change everything around… for them both. They are both a little iffy on each other. Elania finds herself falling harder and harder. But they almost remind each other of what they have to lose. This was a painful book to read.
At the end… I wasn’t sure if I completely loved this story and was enthralled with LK Collins’s evil mind or if I completely hated every minute of it, lol, in a good way that is!! This and the other two books are written superbly and with utter perfection. They all deserve so much more!!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
We meet back up with Nate in Every Love. From losing Arion, to an overseas tour that left him with nightmares that he can't shake, Nate has been through the ringer. I wasn't too big of a fan of Nate in the previous books. He wasn't my favorite character, but I was intrigued enough to want to read Every Love. I am glad that I did, as I feel that this was the novel that really took a look into Nate's life, and how he became who he is now. There was no turning back for him when he lost Arion, and Every Love really shows that as we venture with Nate down his new life from being overseas.
Nate has found an Arion look-alike. What else can he ask for if he can't have her? Sleeping with her makes him forget, just for a second, that she isn't Arion, and he isn't suffering. When tragedy strikes close to home for Nate, he spirals, momentarily into the nightmare that was once his life. Flashbacks of being captured, haunt him on a daily basis. From walking down the road, to finding his mother in a condition he never wanted to find her in, he can't shake the feeling that Arion was potentially the one that held him together.
When Nate makes the decision to move closer to be with his mother while she is in rehab, it isn't any shocker that he meets what could be the last woman he could end up with. Elaina, the stunning realtor that seems to know what Nate is going through on the relationship front, tears his mind away from everything when he's with her. Could she be the missing link to his nightmares? To the endless suffering that accompanies PTSD?
LK Collins did a fabulous job bringing Nate to her readers. He was very well written, and his agony over having PTSD is real. Anyone that suffers from PTSD themselves, or knows somebody that does, should know that it is not an easy "disorder" to have. She portrayed PTSD in a very good way that brought Nate to the reader, and in a very vulnerable state at times, too. The other characters, Elaina, his parents - all really connected well, and helped the story flow forward. There were really no loose ends, and it was refreshing for that to take place.
Definitely recommend reading Every Soul, and Every Heart prior to Every Love. The story line follows each book!
SQUEE! Yep I am bouncing up and down, clapping my hands... screaming from the rooftops about this book. If you have been following this series then, like me, you have been dying for this book. With how books 1 and 2 played out, you knew this was going to be intense and boy was it. This book was edgy, passionate, emotional, sweet, fun, beautiful, complex, and had an amazing second chance love story. This book was the perfect addition to this series and couldn't have been written any better.
I loved this book. I loved every piece, every word, every page and every chapter of this book. While this book could technically be a standalone, I highly suggest reading the other books in this series. With that, this book was amazing. I wanted Nate to find love. I wanted Nate to find peace in his life. Watching him struggle day to day was hard and emotional at times. But things in our life happen for a reason... that is something I am a firm believer in. This book shows us that sometimes life gets dark and ugly.. you have to weather the storm before the sun can break through and shine again.
The long awaited story for Nate is finally here. This is Nate's story. Nate is broken... a shell of the man he use to be. Now, he is picking up the pieces of his life and trying to recover... simply move on. But being stuck in the past is hard when you are still hurt, broken, and grieving. Sometimes we meet someone who changes our life and we don't even realize it. Sometimes we meet someone who makes us believe in the future and love. Would you fight for a chance and give it your all? Or give it all up when the going gets tough? Get ready to fall in love and root for Nate as he finds love, once again.
OK so I totally wanted Nate's story , he really deserved to be heard and hopefully find some peace and happiness BUT I was shocked that with all that happened in the cliffy and at the start here that a certain someone was not in this book. I got over it !! I loved meeting Elaina. She was great , down to earth and also looking for some kind of peace and happiness. They made a great match, of course if Nate's PTSD issues and her insecurities weren't in the way it would have been pure bliss !! They were hot for each other and it was indeed panty melting. Not to mention I could not wait to get rid of Andrea , ugghhh, she was a piece of work. Again no doubt anyone getting a piece of Nate would be hot BUT man she was so needy and a lying cheat !! After all the drama with Arion , Bain and Nate you would think we could catch a break , but no way. This story was filled with angst , drama , heartache and raw emotion. Nate's experiences and reasoning for his behavior is heartbreaking, you can feel his emotion and fear. It is such a real issue in the world it sucks to think many suffer like this daily. Elaina had been wronged and as any woman would she feels insecure and scared to let anyone in. She works her tail off and loves her job despite being across the country away from her family all for the same guy who wronged her. It is a touching story filled with ups , downs, OMG's and edge of your seat moments. I was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Thankfully there was finally peace and happiness , for some or for all ?? You need to read to figure that part out. Enjoy the ride and hold on to your panties because regardless of his leg and his heartache Nate is a machine !!
**** I Love Story Time was gifted an ARC in exchange of an honest review ****
4 Stars!
I fell for Nate when he was first introduced in Every Heart. My heart truly broke for him when Arion made her decision. I really wanted her to choose Nate, but for some reason, most authors have the characters choose the new guy. I just wish that for once, the first love would come out on top. I know we didn't get to know too much about Nate from book 2, but there was just something that drew me to him. So when I realized that Every Love was Nate's story, I was really excited to have an opportunity to read an ARC. Now, I know why he grabbed my attention! He truly is an amazing guy. I really loved everything about him. Yes, just like most characters, he has his issues that he has to overcome, but I fell more in love with him in spite of them. Not only is he genuine and caring, but man can he talk dirty!! Seriously...if you are looking for a hot alpha male that knows how to be sweet and caring, this is your story! The hotness in this book is crazy! LOL. If your one to not like a lot of sex, then I'm not sure this would be for you. But if you don't mind it, I would definitely pick this up! Especially if you enjoyed book 1 and 2! This is an all around great story about overcoming heart break, and moving forward with something that is even better for you in the end. I'm really happy with where things ended up for Nate, and I love that he was able to find someone he could truly connect with and who showed him the love that he deserved.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, love and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Every Soul (Every Soul #1) Every Heart (Every Soul #2)
This is Elaina and Nate’s story. After suffering all he has Nate wonders if anything will go his way. His mother is sick. His friend with benefits looks like his ex. His best friend is hurt about her broken relationship. He is surrounded by pain. Elaina is the complete opposite of his ex in looks. For the first time in forever his is attracted to a woman who does not look like his ex. Elaina is just out of a broken relationship and is not ready for anything. What she was not expecting was Nate. He is a great guy but gets pulled into things that make him look bad. When he is pulled time after time into a bad situation with a friend Elaina decides it’s just too much. She can only believe what she sees with her own eyes. But will one helpful weekend turn into a tragedy that changes them all? Can Elaina and Nate work through the issues they both have or it is the end of them for good?
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
This story was deep and emotional. Nate is doing the only thing he knows how to cope. He lived through being tortured only to come home and find out his girl has moved on. So meaningless relationships it is. He is not going to let anyone hurt him the way Arion did again. He has his gym and his family. That is all he needs. Boy is he wrong. He is a character that has a long road ahead of him to get past his PTSD and finally finds his reason to try to get better. Elania. Elania is a wonderful character. She is on the other side of a nasty breakup and really isn’t looking to start a new relationship any time soon. Then Nate steps into her life. These two characters connect on a deep level. Sure, there is loads of chemistry, but there is something deeper right from the start. Nate instinctively knows that Elania is the woman he is meant to be with. He has a bad habit of messing up with her though. I loved Arion’s story and I was sure that I would love Nate’s as well. I am a sucker for messed up men. I love to read their story of healing and finding love. The author did a wonderful job with Nate’s story and I can’t wait to see what she has for us in the future. Reviewed for FMR Book Grind

This was my first LK Collins book, and boy did I LOVE it. My only wish is that it was longer.
Nate Wilcox has been through hell and back, losing a leg in the process. Not only is he suffering from PTSD, but he comes home to find the woman that he loves has moved on without him. But he's a survivor, and slowly moving on. When his mother is in a rehabilitation place after an accident, he decides to buy a house near her. Elaina has been severely hurt by her last relationship, so she trusts no man. This all changes when Nate hires her as his realtor. They have an instant connection, but both are battling demons. Can Nate and EL lower their walls long enough to let each other in?
What an amazing story of sacrifice, hope, and true love. The character development was great, with the secondaries rounding it out perfectly. It was a beautiful storyline that flowed well. The author did a great job evoking highly intense emotions out of me. The angst level is off the charts as the hero has been through the ringer, and I couldn't help feeling his feelings. I couldn't breathe the moment that EL told him he was beautiful when he revealed his scars. Every chapter had my heart racing, and a new emotion felt. Buckle up for a serious emotional ride! Fantastic story LK Collins!
Nate, Nate, Nate...What are we going to do with you? When we left Nate in Every Heart, he was having a hard time dealing with Arion choosing Bain over him in addition to dealing with his health issues. In book two, I was rooting for Arion and Bain just like most of you and I feel no shame.
Now that Nate has a book of his own, his has worked out his health issues, somewhat working on his mental issues, and still not dealing well with Arion rejection. He has stoop so low that he sleeps with a woman simply because she looks and reminds him of Arion. Come on Nate get a Grip!
He finally meets and actually get involved with someone opposite of Arion. Elaine/El. She's brunette, outgoing, confident, but has MAJOR trust issues. Could this be a love match? There is instant attraction on both sides, but Nate's issues resulting from his PTSD keeps raising it's ugly little head, along with ex-lovers interference. You wonder will he ever catch a break??
There is some drama, hot sex, and hard choices that need to be made, but in the end Nate gets his much needed HEA.
I have loved this series hardcore and was very excited to see Nate get his HEA. I have to say I wasn't a huge fan of Nate's at the beginning because I didn't like the idea of him coming back into Arions life and messing up what she and Bain had together. I know that seems messed up with all that he had been through. By the end of book 2 I was ready to give Nate a chance and wanted to see him happy. The chemistry that he immediately had with El was very exciting. Just witnessing the change in him instantly was thrilling. He wasn't exactly what you'd call a "good" man and I so wanted him to be a good guy. When El came into the picture he got right in the path to becoming the good guy. He dealt with so many things and tried to be the best he could. Sometimes those choices were bad and he ended up creating more problems. With El by his side he made some tough decisions to try and better his life for them. Nate's a beefy hunk and I just love him and all his manliness. ;-) READ THIS WHOLE SERIES!!!!!!!!
Intense and Emotional This book is raw, intense and shatteringly beautiful. I was sucked into the story right away and I have to admit that at first I wasn't all that fond of Nate, but after learning more about him I just couldn't help buy love the guy, seriously. I do have to add that as a medical professional I have had patients with PTSD and I feel that the author did a terrific job with it in this book. Many people don't really understand the reality of what it is and how it affects a person. Not that it affects every person the same but I feel that this view is probably very eye opening to many. I was a bit apprehensive about the combination of Nate and Elaina, because with two broken people it could really go either way, they could support each other and help each other to mend or they could end up being a powder keg to each other and blow what remains completely apart. I may have already said a bit too much because I don't want to leave any spoilers but I say read this book, you will not be sorry. I was given a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.
This is the third instalment of the Ever Soul series, and I couldn't wait to read this! This book is all about Nate's story - now whilst I have read the first two books in the series you could get by reading this without reading them, but it does mention some aspects that you would be best reading them in order.
Nate was a POW and suffers from PTSD, and in this book we get his story - after everything he has been through we get his thoughts and feelings on it all. Now Nate was taken as a POW and his fiancée Arion had thought he was dead so she moved on - naturally so - but when he showed up at her apartment and saw that she wasn't waiting for him, it sent him on a downward spiral. Basically he was going about having meaningless sex with just about any woman who would have him.
He meets Elania or El, and whilst she is attracted to Nate, she is also battling demons from her past, which for both it could threaten their relationship.
This was a great book and a great story for Nate, and I am so glad he got the happy ending he was looking for.
I was very excited Nate got his own story. He deserved it. I started out truly not feeling much for Nate. I hated how he used Andrea even though she was a hoe. I expected more from someone who Arion had once loved. As we start to see how deep his PTSD issues are I then knew he wasn't that person and I began to lighten up on him.
Elania needed someone to love that she could trust and at first I thought this is not your guy...he has issues, but as their relationship progresses we see how good she is for him and visa versa. Two broken hearts mending and learning to love again.
Every Love closes the door on this three book series where four lives are torn apart and mixed up a bit but all find love in the end.
Nate is very messed up with PTSD. His every decision is based on that he protects himself whether he is putting somebody first through lying or ignoring the situation.
Elania moved from California to New Jersey to follow a boyfriend when cheated with a coworker of hers. She believes every man will cheat.
With both Nate and Elania both having issues, the story is an emotional roller coaster. The story itself is good, great writing but it was not my cup of tea with characters so wish washy. I like stronger characters.
Book three is not as good as the first two. I absolutely adore the first two and consider them must reads.
Nate and El! <3 This is the last book in the series and it was a perfect ending. Nate had PTSD and he was making bad decisions trying to protect himself. He almost lost everything he loved and that helped him make some hard choices. El had issues to work through as well. The story has some pretty hot scenes and an amazing story! This is a definite must read!
Every Love is a second chance love story about trust and taking risks. Nate and Elaina's story is heartfelt, entertaining and intense. They're both dealing with their own demons and insecurities but that's what made their story so unique. They're both imperfect. I enjoyed the banter and the playfulness between the two. Every Love is a fast paced, page turner that I couldn't put down.
4.5 stars- This was a compelling, emotionally deep and dark story. It both exhausted and warmed me.
Nate is suffering badly from the trauma of war and injury. He is getting by, having been at his lowest and successfully clawed his way out. But his healing is stuck and his PTSD is worse than he is willing to admit. He's also never really gotten over the way the love of his life turned her back on him when he needed her most. He has so many demons. He can't even think about loving someone else and it's pretty clear he doesn't have the mindset or energy for a relationship.
Then he meets Elania. There is something about her. She's the first thing that seems to help calm the storm that whirls inside Nate constantly. She is beautiful and sweet and sees Nate in a way he didn't think people could see him. In a way he can't even see himself. As they get to know each other and start to build something together, it's clear this won't be all sunshine and rainbows. It will challenge and test them both. It will challenge and test the strength of love.
Both characters are strong individuals with some baggage and they help carry and lift the other up. It was a really beautiful story of love, healing, opening yourself up and learning to trust. The only thing I would have liked to have seen differently is the ending and resolution. It felt rushed and not as realistic as the rest of the story. But it was still a book that really gets under your skin and gives you all the feels. I really loved it.
Nate has been through so much. He thought enlisting would be the way that he could take care of his fiancé forever. He never though he would go through what he did, be held captive, declared dead to his family and friends and then come back to find the love of his life has moved on without him. He also came back with PTSD as a souvenir and it affects his daily life. He's involved in an unhealthy relationship and he's lying to his psychologist. Day to day living is still a struggle. Then he sees her. She's nothing like what he normally looks for, completely opposite from his first love. He can't get her off his mind. Could he actually attempt this again? Could he trust someone else, let them in or would his failings and insecurities overwhelm him enough to make everything crash and burn?
LK COLLINS wrote a amazing finish to this series Nate deserve his happily ever after with all the pain and confusion he went through. Elania needed a good man like Nate and he was there at a perfect time I highly recommend this book and series
