Tag Masters is the playboy no one can tame, and Ashiara Branderwood is looking for a fun weekend like she's never had. I enjoyed all the books as I mentioned I was expecting a little more. liked Raya and Kade just wished they admitted their feelings sooner. Second book is about Tag and we get to know more about him and his love interest in Ash, I did find it a little ridiculous that she had 2-3 stalkers, but oh well and I do not accept her not telling Tag he was going to be a dad, her reasons were ridiculous, but all is well that ends well..Third story is Dane and Rain, was happy that they got together but felt bad for Kode and thought that the reasoning of Dane and Rain not talking for years was ridiculous, you mean if you felt the way you felt someone would have acted sooner. But again it all ended well
These four books are my first time reading C. M. Owens & I'm seriously impressed. What a delightfully satisfying read this has been & there are more books still to go. It's really hard to evaluate a part of a series because so much happened in the four books about 3 beautiful couples in this Sterling Shore series. I loved Kade & Raya, thought that Ash was outrageously harsh towards Tag, making decisions for him without giving him a choice & felt that Rain was incredibly selfish the way she played with all 5 boys feelings in her teen years & then again in her twenties. I've probably upset some readers saying that but she ran away twice & just expected them to get on with their lives with no thought to the consequences. But this is a series that ticks all the important boxes to make the story that bit extra special without being contrived. Read the Sterling Shore books, they are brilliant
I really enjoyed the first 4 books in the Sterling Shore season. It's truly an easy read. Obviously the Sterling Boys was my favorite book. I laughed so hard with Eleanor that I had tears. Dane and Rain lost so much time because of some miscommunication. 6 years of time. Y heart broke for rain because I truly know how she felt. Definitely worth reading
Books 1 and 1.5 relate the same story but from two different perspectives. Dual perspectives make it interesting but there are phrases that are notably redundant between the two narratives. Book 2 and 3 approach the dual narrative within single books rather than splitting them up into different stories. Typical to series romances the characters all know each other in this city/town, and the next romance story is hinted at with the introduction of the characters in the current read.
Books were quick and fun to read. I liked it enough to want to read more from the series, but if you are looking for innovation, then the book or series would not be what you are looking for.
3.5 stars. This series was a good deal at $0.99 at Amazon. I enjoyed some of the interplay between the romantic couples. However, it was a bit too cheesy and unrealistic for my tastes. I prefer something a bit more real and less predictable. I found the first book to be the best.
I really enjoyed the first book and was pleasantly surprised to get this compilation for 99 cents. There is a reason for this low price: it is not formatted properly. There are neither marks for the different books nor for the individuell chapters.
I enjoyed reading the first book of this series "Hooked on the Game", the main characters were still in college, but Kade already works for his future by using his parties to increase his network and not hooking up with potential future customers.
Book 1,5 tells book1 from Kade's POV with some interesting details.
In book 2 Tag and Ash are the MCs, I stopped reading after several chapters. Ash is drunk constantly, is a doormat, and agrees to s.. although her brain shouts "no". Everything is about fu... who with whom and when.
In book 3 we have five Sterling boys all circling around Rain, protecting and supporting her for five years in highschool and staying in contact during college and beyond for the next six years. The plot was good, one misunderstanding let to estrangement with the love of her life but the execution fell flat for me. I like my romances fleshed out:
What did they study? What are they doing now? How did they become so successful within two years assuming they went to college? Do they work out together (smoking hot bodies require work)? What we get are 24-year old guys who don't work but get drunk and are only said to be successful and loaded.
Rain, too, is super successful, a renowned author with 24, has a writer's block, and moves back to her friends. They constantly meet, touch, and hug Rain and vice versa but the boys don't have her trust. The heroine has to undergo a life changing operation but it is glossed over and I'm unconvinced how quickly Rain was released from hospital. Rain had had a good relationship with her adoptive mother. It felt unrealistic she didn't talk either with her or later with a counselor about such an operation which also might cause some psychological problems once the consequenses sink in. Apparently Rain and Dane never had a serious conversation about their shared future otherwise the misunderstanding wouldn't have occurred.
Looking at the publishing dates I assume the author works too fast and neglects to embellish the plot
Love this series! This is actually a reread for at least the 3rd time.
Book 1- Kade & Raya are sweet, sassy & a great storyline. This is a young, new adult romance, but Raya is much older than her actual age.
Book 2- Tag & Ash are sweet, sexy & so much fun to read. Tag is a player of all players, but some how this sassy mouth girl worms her way into his heart. The angst & chemistry within this story was fantastically written!
Book 3- Dane & Rain are a semi-second chance & a friends to lovers romance, but it is a fantastic read. They are two stubborn people who lost their way towards each other years before & more immature. They have grown up over the past 6 years, which helps make their relationship more solid when they finally get their heads out of their a$$es!
Raya & Kade are so good together! She's a cons daughter and he's the up and coming loaded fella, not a match made in heaven....until it is!
Tag & Ash Tag's a hardcore playboy, Ash is a sweet yet strong girl, the meet, they collide, she's nearly killed! It's a Trip 😘
Rain & Dane Theirs is my favourite story 😊 She's been through a very tough time through health issues and she just keeps soldiering on! But a pile of misunderstandings, crossed wires and stubbornness, keeps them apart! Ever want to bang two people heads together to get them to see what's right in front of them...??!! Anyway, they're adorable and I loved them 🥰
Dane was my favorite for some reason and I was excited to start this book and sad that it came to an end!! I read this book in one night because it grabbed ahold of my emotions and didn't let go! I need my own pack of Sterling boys, lol! All the relationships in this book were amazing and at first I wanted to kick Kode's ass but he definitely redeemed himself and the loyalty the boys have between each other is amazing. This is just an amazing book all in all! Rain and Dane are amazing and she's one hell of a woman!
I took a chance on this bundle. Suffice it to say that it was a "win" and kept my attention throughout the weekend. The characters are interesting, and I enjoyed the continuing relationships throughout the initial bundle-- not realizing that there are 10 books in all. I was disappointed in the lack of editing. Words were omitted, poor punctuation and errors in context which occasionally made reading difficult. Hopefully, this will get resolved in future editions. All in all, stir a
I read the first four stories, three books, of this series one after another and just purchased the remaining 7 books in the series. The stories are gripping, Funny, sad, sexy and I have fallen in love with the characters. I can't wait to read each of the stories and learn more about the characters I know and to be introduced to new characters. The writing has a very real feeling about it. Take a chance you won't regret it. Warning: There are sexual scenes described in detail but not to an erotica level.
An amazing series. Loved each and every book in this series. The author gave equal importance to the H and h and all the supporting characters. While reading this series I felt I was a part of the series and all the characters had become my friends. This is by far my most favourite series. It humourous, romantic. While many of the characters were millionaires but the author didn't stereotype them as cocky or bitchy which is so refreshing. I can go on and on I really miss this series so much. I wish the authors writes more such books.
I loved this series and have read it many times, but not left a review. I love this box set because it’s a great way to introduce you to the characters of Sterling Shore. You can read each book independent of the set, but I wouldn’t. You get a chance to meet characters in order and see how they’re doing as the book series progresses. You’ll fall in love with these characters and all of the crazy things that happen to them. Such a great series!!
I received and voluntary reviewed a gift of this book.
I'm so in love with this exciting and strange group of friends and family. I was hooked from Kade and Raya, everything else just seemed like a bonus and now I really need the rest.
This book was read and reviewed by Stacy Aube for Assassins reading reviewing group.
I am really enjoying this series! Even though a lot of the characters are rich and drop dead gorgeous, their flaws and insecurities make them relatable. There are a lot of layers in her stories that make me want to keep reading into the wee hours of the morning... and don't forget the hot, make you wish you were her love scenes! I definitely recommend these.
Best series I have read in a while, it was funny, sexy, had plenty of drama, even managed a tear it two, hot and sexy characters with witty comebacks, dysfunctional families, what more could you ask for, I will be buying the next in the series, if I can find it, dying to know about the rest of the Sterling clan.
This worked out great. Having the 1st 4 books in this series all together. I loved the stories and how well they were written and easy to read. All the characters had their trials to get through in order to be happy. All end with no cliffs so you can read them when ever
While reading the first two books (Hooked on the Game & Kade’s Game), I couldn’t help feeling that Raya and Kade were older than the 18 and 21 mentioned in the story. But that might just have been me though 😉
All of the books are different, which is quite an accomplishment in this genre.
Read book 1 - was good until they got together but then I lost interest. The last con was a bit hard to believe. I liked Kade’s possessiveness and her cluelessness about his feelings. Her insecurities about her background was a bit over the top. Get over it. It was obvious he didn’t care about it. I don’t care enough about their story to read it from his POV. Happy it’s a happy ending though.

I fucking love this entire series. C.M. Owens has completely out done himself. The beauty of this series lies in their friendship. They are fucking too perfect for words. Every description is precise and you can literally imagine evrything. But I will worn you, you shouldn't really image every description, if you know what I mean.

I loved these books. Each one intertwined for a interesting journey. All the FMC were amazing. And the guys were swoony. There was a lot of growth.
