Wow. This book was…just wow.

I love me some Kira Cole! This book was crazy town from start to finish. I kind of feel like this is my marriage but without the turf wars, murder and violence. lol but the fighting and making up is us for sure.

The heads of two rival families fall into bed together and keep falling into bed until Aiden decides he wants to keep Zoe forever, not just for right now.

The problem is neither of them trust each other not to kill the other. Did I mention it’s crazy?!?

The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot. You can feel tension when they are trying (and failing) to get each other riled up only to end up back in bed, or on a desk, or in a club.

Zoe is stubborn, headstrong, and so damn tired of this life. But it’s all she’s ever known and she is responsible for her family now that all the elder men are gone. But she is losing her mind trying to hold it all together.

Aiden has the big, loud, crazy family. He loves them more than life but wishes sometimes they would just listen to him instead of argue about how he is holding them down. He is beyond exhausted and falling apart at the seams.

These two are such a perfect for each other. You wouldn’t think two strong, leaders would work so well together. And they don’t initially but man once they get out of their own way. Magic.

If you’ve never read anything by Kira Cole go grab one of her books. This is the first I’ve read in this series but I’ve read others and I’m never disappointed on the ride she takes me on. You never know what’s gonna happen next and it’s always extra spicy.

This is a dark romance so keep that in mind. There is violence, murder, and a lot of blood and mutilation. But it’s also a love story at its core. So if you are all about a dark romance, step into this world my friend and let me know what you think!.

Steamy is how I would describe the read. Believe me, there was not a chapter that didn’t entice.
Being the leader of any Family Organisation requires strength, patience and loyalty. Aiden has been constantly trying for his family to understand his expectations. With bodies being continuously left on his doorstep, new measures are being prepared.

Zoe is the leader of her family but also has to report to higher ups.
Enough said.

A cruel joke by Aiden to get answers has backfired. Good/Bad you are the decider.

She's a bad ass, intelligent, fierce and shrewd woman. It may appear that she's in charge of the family but she's only a pawn and there's something in the background who's pulling the strings. The Vitale and the Rinaldo family have been enemies and at war for years. Allow Aiden is the head of the family his siblings always seems to challenge and second guess every decisions that he makes for the family. They both built their empire base on bloodshed, fear, knives and bullets and will burn anyone who get in their way or tries to take it. To save his family and stop the bleeding on life lost Aiden kidnap Zoe and forced her into a marriage with a gun at her throat.
And now she's chained to his bed. He's the one man who she can't kill and the man she somehow can't seems to stop craving. They hate each other and he knows that he should've but he can't. They had a push and pull relationship riddle in toxicity and their chemistry burn up sheets and the pages, and their power dynamics was even better. A dark romance with with betrayals, distrust, internal conflicts, possessiveness, obsession, power struggles, power play, violence, hatred, danger, love and so much more. Will Aiden and Zoe union story the two families from tearing each other other apart and come to a truce? Will they get their HEA? Will Aiden finally put his foot down with his family and get the respect he deserves?

Aiden and Zoe are from two rival families. He ends up taking Zoe to get information from her and decides that marrying her is the best way to go.

These two MCs were initially not kind to each other in the beginning, but they soon turned into a hate/enemies to lovers relationship. While he's trying to get her to talk, they both start realizing that they are strongly attracted to each other. They have amazing chemistry, which, of course, leads to super spicy scenes!! Zoe is feisty and strong, and Aiden is dominant and protective. Aiden had no problem causing her pain at the start, but he finds he wants her screaming in different ways 😉.

The main story surrounding them was tense, filled with lots of suspense, mystery, betrayal, loyalty, and secrets.

I don’t even know where to start! My poor heart literally stopped while reading Cruel Possession. Zoe and Aiden are EVERYTHING. They’re pure chaos, wild and unhinged, yet perfectly matched. Every single scene between them had me holding my breath: full of sparks, passion, defiance, and that irresistible push and pull.

Zoe is fierce and fearless, always fighting back, even when it costs her everything. And Aiden… oh, Aiden. Killer, ruthless, sexy, cold as steel, but then he surprised me by showing trust, even tiny glimpses of gentleness once feelings began to grow. That contrast made me fall for him so hard.

The last part completely broke me. When they finally acknowledge their feelings and then heartbreak follows when love finally collides with loyalty, I was shattered. Everything they’ve built is tested in the worst possible way. Seeing her most vulnerable there hit me so deeply. I also loved how much the family dynamics shaped the story: siblings, loyalties, betrayals, secrets... every twist pulled me in further.

Kira Cole’s writing is addictive: dark, brutal, tender, and breathtaking all at once. Zoe and Aiden are officially my favorite couple yet, and I’m already planning to go back and devour the whole series. Wow. Just… wow. ❤️🔥.

From the very first page, this story grabs your attention and refuses to let go.

The chemistry between Aiden and Zoe is off the charts intense, forbidden, and undeniably captivating. Their dynamic is the perfect mix of danger and desire, and every interaction between them crackles with tension. Cole masterfully balances high stakes action with steamy romance, creating a fast-paced narrative filled with twists, betrayals, and unexpected revelations.

Holy hell, I am officially obsessed. I’ve been waiting for this one, and it absolutely delivered.

Zoe and Aiden? Absolute chaos in the best way possible. Two rival family heads, both stubborn as hell, both carrying the weight of their legacies—and somehow, they keep ending up in the same bed. There's something about hooking up with your enemy, the one you stay far away from, but that makes it that more exciting. Zoe and Aiden are playing with fire, and will one of them ultimately get burnt? But things have to come to a head, and when they do, ooh, what fun it is going to be, but for whom?

Aiden needs to protect his family, but they are concerned because he has not been the same since Noah. Aiden needs the family to toe the line and show him some respect!

Zoe needs to get out of this situation she is in. How can she play it? What leverage can she use?

Both Aiden and Zoe have been playing a game over the last year, thinking that all there is between them is lust, but both of them need to look deep within themselves because loyalties are tested, sides have to be taken, and will the ultimate betrayal cost someone their life?.

I couldn't put my Kindle down after the first page of this story. Aiden and Zoe have a hate/love relationship with the emphasis on hate, but they can't stay away from each other. She is keeping a big secret from him, while trying to manipulate their situation to her advantage. He is trying to ensure his family isn't killed by the Rinaldi family.
Aiden kidnaps Zoe forces her to marry him and then imprisons her in his basement. She refuses to give him any information, but they can't keep their hands off each other. Slowly she is given some privileges, but she continues to try to get information about the Lynde operations while manipulating Aiden.
The plot of this story is complex with multiple subplots interwoven which keeps the story interesting and compelling.
The ending is far from expected with the promise of a sequel to entice the reader.

I love Kira Cole, (well, just to be clear I love her books, I don’t know the author personally lol,)and I’ve got to say she did not disappoint with this latest book.
It was filled with some fantastic content showcasing the enemies to lovers trope perfectly.

The chemistry between Zoe and Aidan was sheet meltingly hot and seeing their connection grow from hate, to lust, and beyond was beautiful. There were definitely moments where they were fighting their obvious connection so hard that I’m surprised that they didn’t spontaneously combust, but the end result…beautiful.

The characters were well developed and absolutely likeable and you could see from the start just how much both Zoe and Aidan were each other’s missing piece, each one fitting and supporting each other just perfectly.

I don’t want to spoil this for you but prepare yourself for a twisty love story filled with lust, longing, love and of course, murder, mayhem and mischief, this was undoubtedly another fantastic read by Kira Cole and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

This is the 4th story in the Cruel Command Series where we get the hidden truth between Aiden head of his Mafia family and Zoe his family’s rival. These two let down their guard only when they are imitate with one another and all bets are off any other time. The fighting has caused Aiden some lasting effects after his captivity and torture from her brother but it’s undeniable these two care for one another but without any trust things become a dangerous game between lovers and enemies. Zoe has been the figure head of her family while another has been pulling the strings and Aiden has difficulty keeping his family safe from the impending war. The sparks shared shows how deep they care but the past mistrust and family secrets give them and their enemies a run for power and destruction to gain the upper hand! This is the Fourth book in the Cruel Command Series. It gives us the story of Aiden, the leader of the Lynde family and Zoe his arch enemy is the fierce leader of the Rinaldo family. This captivating, dynamic and powerful book grabbed me from the very first page until the last!
The chemistry between Zoe and Aiden was explosive, no matter how much their relationship was forbidden, every time they connected there were fireworks, they faced danger, betrayal, twists and turns, violence but the dark romance, passion, and very hot steamy scenes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the very first page until the last, looking forward to the next book in the series.

I’ve been waiting for Aiden to get his own book, especially after everything he’s been through! I just wasn’t expecting for him to be relieving his stress with his former torturer’s sister!!!
I loved Aiden! I could feel his exasperation with his family members and understood his need to have a break from everything. I also loved Zoe, but I definitely wasn’t happy about all of the choices she made! I was a little obsessed with the two of them, they had that delicious push/pull chemistry between them. I just couldn’t get enough of them and was rooting for them to get their problems sorted out so they could be together.
I’m extremely curious as to what is going on with Jade so I can’t wait to see what’s next!.

Cruel Possession is the 4th book in the Cruel Demand series. This book is definitely one I didn’t know I needed in this series. Aiden has sacrificed so much for his brothers and sisters, more than any of them know and realize, including his happiness. Zoe is the targeted enemy even though nobody knows that she is just a puppet whose strings are being pulled by a ghost. When you are lonely and don’t feel you deserve or are capable of love, you do what you have to do to find just a little bit of comfort. Even if it’s with the enemy. Aiden and Zoe get each other on a level no one else ever will, even when one betrays the other. This book is full of sass, danger, secrets, trauma, deceit, and lots of spice!!! Fantastic addition to the series and can’t wait to see what comes next!!!

Zoe is a strong woman and not one to mess with. She is now faced with looking after her family, as all the men are no longer here. But she has a strong attraction to the rival family head, Aiden. Aiden knows he shouldn't trust her due to her betrayal, but he's smitten. They find themselves drawn together, even though they know they shouldn't, due to family ties. There is a steaminess between the two when they get together that knows no bounds.

Aiden and Zoe are from two different families, the same families who have been fighting due to the kidnapping of Ellie by Noah Rinaldo in book one. Trying to keep his family safe, Aiden kidnaps Zoe and locks her up in his basement, though the stubborn woman refuses to give him the answers he’s looking for. To keep his sisters safe, Aiden forces Zoe to marry him while slowly trying to still get the information he needs. Aiden and Zoe both hate each other, so why is it that they can’t seem to keep their hands off one another?

Wow…. what a book. Didn’t think I was going to get into this one at all at the start, but OMG did I change my mind. Written with all the suspense, intrigue and good old fashioned hot and steamy scenes that you’ve come to expect from Kira. Hopefully there is another to the series as I just won’t be satisfied with this ending as it does otherwise. Only reason it’s not 5* is because I found it slow to get started with this one.

I loved this story it was action from start to finish. I love this fatal attraction between mafia bosses Zoe Rinaldo and Aiden Lyndes. From secrets meeting and steamy love scenes, to kidnaping to seduce her for information about her mafia's plans. A captivating story filled with turf wars, family dynamics and falling into bed with the enemy, that is until feelings start changing and the lines between them, feeling begin to blur, feeling become intense and family loyalty is questioned. Aiden and Zoe were the most unlikely pair but the way they got together i guess it makes it so.

Full of friction and forced marriage, their relationship is anything but orthodox. But they make it work of attraction mostly. I did love the push pull of their dynamic and that chemistry that played out to a slow build romance.

So beautifully done. Kira always bring us a current easy read story with redeemable characters and a mesmerising plot. So good!!.

Zoe and Aiden are supposed to hate each other as their families are supposed to be enemies. Even after Zoe's sister marries Aiden's brother and has a baby. Zoe and Aiden meet up privately when they can until Aiden forces Zoe to his house and maybe a more important place in his life. After things start showing up at Aiden's house things start going downhill fast. Can they survive not just the violence but their connection.

This is Book 4 in the Cruel Command Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is a dark enemies to lovers mafia romance between Aiden and Zoe. These two flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as a forced marriage turns into something more. It is a thrill ride with drama and steam, secrets and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. An engaging page turner.

Book four of the Cruel Command series,
Aiden and Zoe's story. Let me just say that from the first page I was hooked. The steamy scenes had me wanting a cold shower afterwards. The action packed scenes had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't anticipate how things would end up for these two. I just knew I was ready for the wild ride I was heading in to. Highly recommend reading this. Look forward to reading more from Kira Cole.

This takes enemies to lovers to limit.
The relationship these two have is like a 50 car pileup.
The relationship with the family isn’t much better.
I was a bit confused on the history of these two, even having read all the prior books, so a smidgeon of backstory might have been helpful. Especially for those reading it as a standalone.
This is one of those hate to love stories. Extremely intense and never a dull moment.

Zoe and Aiden are basically two feral cats trapped in a luxury cage, clawing and kissing at the same time. The forced marriage setup should’ve felt cliché, but somehow it works because they’re both too stubborn to lose. I liked how Kira Cole made their power struggle feel like foreplay and war in equal measure. The pacing drags for a minute at the start, then suddenly you’re dodging bullets and bad decisions. The writing has that sharp, dark rhythm that makes violence feel like poetry. Honestly, it’s chaos with chemistry and I didn’t hate a second of it.

If I could have given this more stars I would, Zoe and Aiden's story is one that is not to be missed.
They are withing trying to kill each other or ripping there clothes off, if they weren't on opposite sides of a war it would be perfect.
Two really crazy people together just cause chaos for those around, love and hate are si very close together.
There are so many twists that you just don't see coming right up to the very last page.

This thrilling story captures you from the beginning and keeps you tethered to it with the thrilling twists and turns. They can't trust each other but the sparks are undeniable. If you like an MC that will is dominating, a bit unhinged, will do anything for his family and falls hard then this is also for you.

This is the fourth book in the Cruel Commands series and highlights the story between Zoe (FMC) and Aiden (MMC). It's a standalone that's interconnected. The story had plenty of ups and downs and was full of action and tension. I love the E-to-L trope, so I ate this up. It was moderately paced and well written. The two MCs are engaging and compelling. Overall, this was a great read and I would recommended.
