Jake and Eve have weathered some pretty severe storms during their relationship, but nothing prepares them for what is to come. One thing after another, in a series of unfortunate events, the couple is left wondering if they will ever get to their "I do's."
Friends and family band together to give the couple the wedding of their dreams. Will Jake and Eve’s happily ever after be thwarted by a blizzard in the Colorado Rockies?
RSVP for the Christmas wedding of the year, and fall in love with Jake and Eve all over again.
This is the perfect ending for this series!! This is the Christmas novella for the Return to Me Series. All of these books were wonderful! The series starts in December when Jake and Eve meet under Eve's unfortunate circumstance (well in looking back, it was fate). I have loved watching this couple fall in love and struggle through the ups and downs of their relationship since they met. The struggles have made them stronger as a couple.
RSVP parallel's the series with Jake and Eve's wedding planning problems, albeit smaller than what life has thrown at them to this point. And I found myself watching their reactions to things out of their control and saying, yes, what can you do?
Jake is Eve's rock of strength and I love how he can joke about things...
"I'm getting married in a couple of day. I'm guessing Eve is probably stressing out over the snow accumulation, so everyone else is probably stressed out too. If I stay in town, I'm pretty sure I won't have to worry about getting married on Saturday."
He is the dreamboat we all wish to snag in life...
"Baby, you need to remember something. This is all just the wrapping on the best gift we will ever get in life. You and me -- we are going to commit our lives to one another, vowing that we will be one forever. The dress, the flowers and the people are just the pretty outside, the paper and bow. I would marry you in jeans and a t-shirt, and it wouldn't be any different than what you have planned for us. The end result will be the same. I get you, and you get me - always and forever."
Sigh....
Oh, and Griff and Clarissa are here too celebrating with everyone....What can you say about Griff, except he's perfect!
"I didn't have the best mother, and after a while, I didn't have her at all. But I always dreamed of the perfect mother. I just never saw her face until I first saw you, Eve." Wowza!!!!
RSVP wraps up the series with a giant, fancy wedding bow!!. I have really enjoyed these characters and will miss them!!
I was a given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
