Hungry Spirits

Rate this book
Kentoku is heir to a corporate empire, and the only one in his family aware that a very active spirit walks the hallways of his ancestral home. Keiko is a feisty young university student with an unusual spiritual talent -- the ability to feel ghosts as though they were flesh. Ryudo is an ancient samurai guardian spirit to an old and respected family, grown powerful in the modern era. An invitation to tea becomes a seduction that binds all three together in a web of desire, appetites, and secrets. Alas, they are not alone in the dark. There are those among the living, and the dead, who would bind them to their service. Willing, or not.

Ms. Hawke has been one of my favourite authors. I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I enjoyed it as a beta reader for the first few chapters. What I really enjoyed was the ghost who was such a dom. Just thinking about him makes me moist. Ms. Hawke can always be counted on for great imagines, tight storylines and hot hot alpha males. I'd willingly submit to any of the alpha males in her stories.

What a naughty ghost! This one was a good time, it brought me back to my anime days with a kinky twist.

What can I say? I absolutely love the way Morgan Hawke writes BDSM smut. I don't think this book is as awesome as her Sci-fi books, but I definitely enjoyed it. There is a certain playfulness about Morgan's books that never make them too serious, and they always move at a fast pace. Not to mention, all the snark and smack talking between the Keiko and her two lovers is very amusing. Excellent erotica!

Pretty good. It's like a novelization of La Blue Girl only with less tentacle monsters and more sexy men. Sounds ridiculous, yes, but Hawke makes it work. So far I'm impressed, she seems to write erotic novels that have a plot beyond the sleaze.
