This sequel raises the stakes withs—high tension, layered betrayals, and a world unraveling at the seams. The conflict between magical and non-magical factions is sharper than ever, and the rise of Chimera adds a dangerous, unpredictable edge to the story.
I loved the exploration of trust, loyalty, and how the lines between right and wrong start to blur when survival is on the line. The pacing was good, and the action was crazy.
I wanted a bit more emotional depth in a few character arcs—but overall, a solid, intense continuation of a compelling series. If you're into magic and rebellion, and messy alliances—this one delivers.

This gave me everything I hoped for as a sequel. It gave me a more in depth look into the world, more Lee, some new twists, and more SHROUD! I'm a happy reader.
