I love Maci and Jaxon! I can’t wait for the next book in their story.
For me I always wish I got more of the characters in romances, like what happens next for them? And we get THREE BOOKS of Maci and Jaxon and I’m just loving it.

Oh my gosh, what a sequel!! I have been so excited for this book ever since I finished The Hookup Type last year. I couldn’t wait to see where Jaxon & Maci’s relationship went! I was pleasantly surprised to see so much growth & communication happening between them. Also the spice level was amped up & I freaking LOVED THAT. I am always here for an “eyes on me” scene! This was such a fun & quick romance! It made me feel nostalgic with the time frame & music, like I was back in college while reading it.

And being an OTH lover of course I have to mention how sweet it was that Jaxon planned a trip to take Maci to Wilmington aka One Tree Hill. 🥹

The Boyfriend Trial is the second book in Brittany Wilson’s The Hookup Type series, where we are reunited with Maci and Jaxon. The book picks up where The Hookup Type left off and explores Maci and Jaxon’s relationship throughout the summer and into their senior year of college. Throughout the story, we watch as their relationship grows from a trial into a serious relationship, and the hardships that the two face as they look ahead to their future.
Another excellent book from Brittany Wilson that I highly recommend reading! Make sure to read The Hookup Type first, that way you have a better understanding of the characters!

This book was a fun dip back into Maci and Jaxon. I really will read everything you put out with that couple, especially their lives at Bowling Green University. I just feel like I went there now after all of your books;)

But we pick up with Maci and Jaxon for part 2 after she says those three fateful words…

I loved getting to know more of Jaxon and his family, and getting to experience them as a couple. I would probably even eat those dense muffins Katie made;)

There are a few dramatic things that happen, but having them live their dreams and finish college is beautiful!
I hope there is a follow up, but I can respect if Brittany stops us here.
I thoroughly enjoy her books and cannot wait to see what else she will share with us.

I want more!!!! I love picturing all the places at BGSU. Makes me feel very in the story. Read this one in less than 24 hours (same as book 1). I love Brittany Wilson’s writing style. Can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Ugh I love Jaxon and Maci so much! I love how much growth you get to see in these two characters and how they both support each other even when it’s hard or painful to do so. Plus I don’t think there is anyone who grew up in One Tree Hill couldn’t be beyond obsessed with this book!
