Mark Tompkins lives in Louisiana, where the haunting swamps and shifting skies fuel his imagination. A lifelong lover of horror, science, and speculative fiction, he writes stories that explore the fault lines between reality and whatever lies beyond it. When he isn’t writing, Mark can be found with his wife and their Chihuahua, enjoying water activities on Lake Bistineau, playing Fallout, reading, or sketching ideas for his next story..
'The Wraith' was scary good. Three lives forever changed due to the one thing that interrupts all of our daily activities- the need to use the bathroom. Now every time I pass a creepy run down gas station, I'll be reminded to keep going. A good short story. Quite creative.
