Tijan Franchise Member December 7th, 2014 Dear Tijan Franchise Member, New members of the Tijan Franchise will be inducted into the organization. A meeting has been called where current and active Davy Harwood, Broken and Screwed, Fallen Crest, Carter Reed, Brady Remington, Sustain, A Whole New Crowd, and older members that are still active such as Home Torn and Chen Series must be in attendance. The reason for this meeting is for everyone to be introduced to each other before, and then together the entire franchise will welcome the new members from the Fighter Franchise. Live entertainment, cake, and alcohol will be provided. Come with your party hats and warm smiles. Sincerely, Mystery Chef P.S. No fighting. No killing. * This is a crossover scene. Bonus scenes for the Fallen Crest Series, Broken and Screwed Series, and Carter Reed 1 AND 2 are also included. ** This was written just for fun. It's a crossover of all published Tijan characters and some unpublished. If you're a fan of any Tijan book, you'll enjoy this! ***Again. This was written just for fun! It was previously published for free reading prior to this as a blog hop. This is just for those who wish to own a copy on their kindle.
I started reading this book a couple of months previous, a few pages in, I realised I needed to read a couple more if Tijan's series before being able to fully appreciate all those seated at the table. Very short and sweet, lovely little addition to the Tijan Franchise. Loved that all her characters meet and suss each other out. There were a few little bonus chapters from some of Tijan's other books too strong the end if the story. Lovely little novella.
Eh, these Tijan books where they break the wall aren't my fav. But I give it an extra star just because I finally got to see that Mason sees Sam scene from HIS POV and now I know what Strauss said to him. That's been bothering me. For so long. We also got to see Mason's POV on Sam's walk-in on her cheating ex-asshole.
I am primarily a fan of the Fallen Crest group, so I am glad the "gathering" followed their POV. Plus it was worth reading for the extra scenes from Mason and Logan's POV from their own stories.
I loved all the different pov scenes, they were my favorite. Especially the ones with Mason.. because Mason. I missed the Fallen Crest crowd, so these little snippets were just what was needed.
I actually loved this!!! Oh Logan kade never disappoints with such high sarcasm!!! Loved it!! Now who is this one that says he was the original???? And there’s going to be new people added to the family??!! Sign me up!!
I loved the idea of this story but the execution was flawed. It was so confusing. I had a really hard time following along with all the characters and how they crossed over into each other's "worlds" or books. I did like the fact that the majority of the story was from the POV of the Fallen Crest crew.
I love the extra scenes from other Tijan books, especially from The Fallen Crest series because that series is my favorite. Can never get enough of Mason, Logan and Sam.
I absolutely love this short scenes. They bring me back in the character's world. Whenever I miss them I come back to read some pages. Thank you Tijan.
I love getting deleted scenes from some of our favorite Tijan books. Getting more from Mason Logan and Sam always makes my day!! Thank you Tijan for giving us more!!
3.5 stars I enjoyed the extra scenes. The concept for the "franchise meet" was interesting and something I hadn't seen before but it was kind of boring, too. Worth the read once though.
I've always wondered what it would be like if/when my favorite characters from Tijan's books got together. Tijan had given us a small taste previously when she'd written a scene with both Fallen Crest High and Broken and Screwed characters. With Crossover, Tijan makes almost all of her fans dreams come true. After all, we get to see all the characters we know and love from her currently published works together.
Crossover has the laughs, tension, and drama we've all come to know to and love. It was really interesting to see how so many strong personalities did together in one room and meeting for the first time. For a fan, it's a quick read. I love how Tijan has also included scenes she's previously released to not only add bulk to the book, but to also allow readers to have the ability to pull them up on their devices at will.
It was also very kind of her to share this first with her readers for free. I was lucky enough to be able to share the first post and for anyone who still hasn't read the scene, you can find the first part here: http://confessionsofayaandnabookaddic.... I can not wait to meet the new character Tijan introduced us to. It turns out she's not very new after all, but honestly, that doesn't matter. New Tijan books means I'm a very happy reader.
I didn't expect much when I bought this. The description said it was a fun story that Tijan thought she'd share. That's a exactly what it was. Tijan enjoying herself. The description never said to expect a thrilling full length book.
This book was described as a gathering of some of Tijan's characters. It was a good refresher for me since I tend to forget the books I've read. Seriously, a few days after I finish a series/book, I can't recall too much of what I just read. Like movies and TV, they never make it into my long-term memory.
Anyway, it was Tijan having fun. All of the bad reviews? They must have not have read the description. It wasn't described as a story with an exciting plot and ending. I personally thought it was an interesting meeting of characters. The gathering has the Fallen Crest peeps giving their perspectives. Reading on in the book there is added scenes to Carter Reed and Fallen Crest books. My favorite was Mason's POV of the time they made Sam's crazy mom drink liquor and then took her to a hotel.
I've read almost all of Tijan's book, and have liked most of them, but this was a colossal waste of time! All of the characters from all of her books together for "a gathering" of some sort. It was all over the place, it made no sense....why we're they all there? What was the purpose of them all being there? I don't know!!! The story itself is very short, most of the book is bonus/ deleted scenes from previous books-yeah still not worth it! The only reason I bought it was because I LOVE the Brady Remington series, and since there is no plan for a second book there, I was hoping for some Brady & Rayna. Yes, I did get one tiny paragraph, but even that didn't make it worth it for me. If you're a fan of Fallen Crest, the majority of the bonus scenes are from that series. I love that series, but I would still say this novella is a waste.
This book is worth a million stars!!!! I absolutely love and have read mostly all Tijan's books, so when this came out yesterday I was in heaven. This was a phenomenal idea. She wrote a book where all her characters come together to meet each other. They realize and talk about how they are part of this so called franchise. I was laughing so hard at some of the stuff going on. I can always count on Logan Kade to say the best stuff. The lines that come out of his mouth are priceless. I just can't put into words about how good this book is, especially if you are a Tijan fan. You get the added bonus of deleted scenes and bonus scenes in different pov's from different Tijan books.
