Good story about two people trying to protect their hearts and finding love instead. Colin (aka Prince Mikos) recently lost his wife and is still recovering from a climbing accident that he nearly didn't survive. At home in Galini the paparazzi give him no peace, so he takes a leave of absence from his royal duties and moves to Los Angeles. As his injuries are still causing him problems, he needs a live in nanny to help him care for his daughter.

Darcy needs this job badly. Her nanny agency has fallen on hard times because she trusted the wrong person. The handsome and charming man she loved and married embezzled from her business and used the money to buy gifts for his girlfriend. Not only did he ruin her business, he ended her hopes of having the money to adopt a child. She needs this job for the money to pay the last of the debts and get the business started again.

The initial meeting between Colin and Darcy did not go well. Colin expected an older woman, not a young and beautiful one. Even though his daughter takes to Darcy right away, Colin's immediate attraction to her is a distraction he feels he can't afford, so he tries to send her away. Darcy can't give up this job, so she talks him into a trial period. Darcy is just as attracted to Colin, but having been burned once, isn't willing to take a chance again.

I loved seeing the relationship build between Colin and Darcy. It starts with simple attraction that both of them try to fight. They try to keep things professional, and a friendship starts to build between them as they care for baby Iris. Darcy is truly impressed by Colin's insistence on being a hands on father, and Colin by Darcy's care for his daughter. Colin soon tires of resisting his attraction to Darcy, and wants her to give in to him, but she is not happy with the idea of a fling. Though she wants him just as much, she is determined to resist and insists that they not give in to temptation. That doesn't last long until she decides that she might as well enjoy what time they have. She knows that whatever they do will not last forever,

I loved how what Colin considered was just a case of desire grew into love, even though he tried to resist it. He found himself thinking more about Darcy becoming a permanent part of his life. Unfortunately, he has never told her who he really is and is afraid of her reaction when she does. Those fears are well founded when she finds out before he gets a chance to tell her himself. Darcy feels betrayed by his deception, and thinks that she has just had history repeat itself. She has to look at what she has with Colin and decide if she is willing to take a chance on him. I loved the ending and Colin's big moment.

I also enjoyed catching up with Colin's brother Stefan and his wife Victoria from Behind Palace Doors. Victoria said some things to Darcy that helped her with her decision on what to do.

#Booktubeathon - Read a book while wearing a hat.

This was a fun, sexy, and sweet story about a prince that was in the public eye trying to do what is best for his child. Colin moved to America to make some decisions about his life. Does he keep his title and allow his daughter to be raised by royal nannies and servants OR does he renounce his title and live a peaceful life out of the public eye. Darcy lost everything when she trusted the wrong man. So she takes a job as a live in nanny to start rebuilding her life. As Darcy and Colin get to know each other the sexual chemistry jumps off the page and their shared love for sweet, sweet Iris is just so touching. I would love to read more about this couple in the future.

This specific video review will be included in the August 2018 wrap-up.

What the Prince Wants is the brand new release by Jules Bennett. I love these smaller Harelquin books that usually top out at around 200 pages. The most skilled authors can make you feel like you've read a longer book if their story telling abilities are good. This is a good example of one of those. Prince Mikos Colin Alexander is widowed and still suffering from a serious rock climbing injury when he moves himself and his toddler daughter to California. Going by just Colin Alexander he hires a nanny for his little girl who takes his breath away the moment he lays eyes on her. Darcy Cooper is pretty much the opposite in background from the prince. She had a thriving nanny/day care business until her then boyfriend stole all her money and ran the business into the ground. She is literally one job, this job away from having nothing. She's lost her home, her car, her life basically and one bag that all her belonging fit in is all she has left. This job will either make her or break her. Loved all the characters in this book. Darcy is great with the little duchess and finds herself getting attached to both her and her father. Colin has to learn to think about the people he cares about and to let those people see his vulnerabilities and to take help when it's offered and ask when it's needed. Darcy has to learn to love herself as she is and to learn to trust again. Great story. I could really feel what Darcy and Colin were feeling and it put me right in the story.

What The Prince Wants is wonderful, heartwarming story by Jules Bennett.

Widowed Prince Mikos Colin Alexander needs a much reprieve from being a member of royalty. He wants to raise his young daughter Iris away from his royal duties. He escaped with Iris to Los Angeles but Colin needs someone to help with the child. So Colin goes in search of a nanny.

Darcy Cooper is barely hanging on trying to save her business. She needs this job to keep her business going. Colin Alexander seems to be the answer to her dreams.

Colin is convinced Darcy is the nanny that his daughter needs, what he isn’t sure about is his needs for Darcy. Spending so much time together has them both realizing that their attraction is off the charts.

Will Darcy be able to forgive Colin when she learns who he really is?

What The Prince Wants is a perfect blend of family, loyalty and romance. Watch both Colin and Darcy relate to Iris and to each other is delightful. The chemistry between Darcy and Colin is fun and sexy. Jules Bennett stories are keepers and will make you want your own happy ever after.

Prince Mikos Colin Alexander is widowed and does not relish the thought of bringing up his little girl in the spotlight. He has a serious injury and is sick of the paparazzi on him 24/7. He is granted a six-month leave of royal duties and heads to LA assuming the persona of a regular guy. He knows he must have a nanny with his physical limitations and is ready to start the interviews.

Darcy is reluctantly hired. Colin doesn't need a curvaceous knock out like Darcy as a nanny but his little Duchess and Darcy have fallen for each other. With a little time the Prince and the Nanny begin to fall for one another as well. But what will happen when Darcy finds out he's royalty and has kept it from her?

A really good book that I highly recommend!

This was so cute and so fricken heartwarming. I don't know man, something about single dads just really make a book for me. I just really fuck with it you know? I liked Colin/Mikos, I liked Iris and Darcy, hell, I even liked Stephan and Victoria. I routed for Colin and Darcy to get their HEA, but if I'm beging honest, I did not love the third act conflict. I know she's been hurt before but I really didn't think Colin did anything warranting her massive freakout. Don't get me wrong, I still liked it, I just didn't love the way that last bit of drama played out.

What the Prince Wants by Jules Bennett was a quick easy read. Prince Colin is a widow with an eighteen-month-old little girl to raise. Life after the death of his wife, was becoming out of control, so he requests six-month leave from his royal duties, and moves to Los Angeles. Wanting to keep himself and his daughter out of the media spotlight, he poses as a regular guy and reluctantly hired Darcy to be his live-in nanny. Their relationship was not without problems but they do get a happily ever after.

I enjoyed the book it's just hard for me to picture a Prince handing his child over to a woman he has only known five minutes and going to sleep. I understand he did he research on the business in which he hired yet a lot of this story didn't have the real life feel to me. It seemed to be lacking the gusto to make it believable.

I enjoyed this story and liked that it wasn't too long. I just felt something was missing. At times D'Arcy seemed juvenile. I listened to this on audio and the narrator did a good job. Worth reading if you get it for free or 99 cents.

I chose this to meet a challenge, but forgot quickly how a romance can pull me in. This is actually my first Harlequin book, but now I do see the attraction: some drama, a lot of romance, pure enjoyment without being mentally taxing, and can easily read in a seating.

What the Prince Wants is Jules Bennett’s contribution to the Billionaire and Babes series. Prince Mikos Colin Alexander has gone through two life altering situations. He was in an accident that he is still physically and emotionally recovering from and has also lost his wife. He decides to relocate from Greece and moves to the United States where he tries to decide what to do with his life. He acknowledges right away that he needs a nanny and hires Darcy Cooper. Darcy is the owner of Loving Hands Childcare Agency. Darcy is also having problems. Her agency is failing after her boyfriend absconds with her money. Not only has he taken from the agency, but he has also ruined her chances of having her own family. At the outset, Colin wasn’t sure about Darcy but, in time, she won him over.

I loved watching their relationship develop through the story. And of course, there’s always that twist that puts a kink in the relationship. I absolutely loved this book. I enjoyed how Ms. Bennett dealt with Colin’s past and how she led him back to his homeland. I felt for Darcy and what she had been through between her grandmother and boyfriend. Ms. Bennett first introduced us to Colin in her book, Behind the Palace Doors. I am so happy she decided to give him his own story. I highly recommend What the Prince Wants and also recommend Behind the Palace Doors. I’d like to disclose that I received a copy of What the Prince Wants in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Jules Bennett delivers another wonderfully written book with What the Prince Wants. This book deals with instant attraction, betrayal by an ex-boyfriend, opposites attracting, secrets, an adorable child, royalty and passion. What more could you ask for? Colin AKA Prince Mikos Colin Alexander along with his 18 month old daughter come to Los Angeles to escape the limelight that was following him and his daughter and to decide what the best is for him and his daughter. Once here Colin realizes he needs help taking care of his daughter due to him still recovering from a rock climbing injury. Enter Darcy Cooper who is desperate to get this job so she can save her nanny agency that she inherited from her grandmother who brought her up.(You see her ex-boyfriend was a deceitful thief leaving her in dire straights!) Upon the first meeting between Colin and Darcy there is instant attraction leaving Colin leery about hiring her but seeing how his daughter took to Darcy he agrees to a month trial. Have I peaked your interest yet, get the book to find out how Colin and Darcy achieve their HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am sure you will too.

What the Prince wants is the Nanny. What the Nanny wants is the daddy and is adorable little girl. But what the Nanny doesn’t know when she is hired on, that daddy is really a Prince of a small Island off the coast of Greece. She thinks she is falling in love with a business man, not a man who is next in line to a throne.

Darcy has a struggling “Nanny” business. She has been taken to the cleaners by an ex-husband and comes to Colin home with just a small bag and a big heart. She loves kids, and she falls in love at first sight with Colin’s little girl Iris… She wants to do her job and not get involved with the Daddy. But the attraction between the Prince and Darcy is instantaneous and they fight the good fight, but in the end passion gets them both. But can passion lead to love and a lifetime together when one of you is a Prince and the other a Nanny… and you don’t know you are falling in love with a Prince.

This was a wonderful read and lovely story. Jules Bennett gives us a story of two people who want the same thing, the happiness of a child. I give this story 4 stars for romance and passion, laughter and love.

I absolutely LOVED Stefan and Victoria's story, so when I learned his brother Mikos (Colin) was getting his own story I was thrilled. Let's face it, almost every little girl has pinned a blanket around her shoulders and fashioned a "crown" on her head at one time or another. And better yet...a prince sweeping you off your feet and carting you off to his castle. Well, let's say for Prince Mikos Colin Alexander it wasn't that easy. His nanny, Darcy, is a proud woman who's on the brink of losing her grandmother's business. The one she promised she would continue. She had to have this job.

Colin travels to America to get his head on straight. His wife has passed and now it's just him and his young daughter. He's recuperating from a rock climbing accident and he has the memory of a failed marriage...one that he blamed himself for. He wasn't looking for love. And neither was Darcy. Left and used by her previous relationship, her trust in men is down the toilet. How will these two make their two different worlds work? Or will they? Is there too much baggage? Not enough trust? Read "What the Prince Wants" and find out. You won't be disappointed!

If you have read my reviews on Mrs. Bennett's books before than you know I'm a huge fan of her's. I love all of her books, there's not one where you can go wrong. I couldn't wait my hands on her next prince book.

I liked Mikos or Colin, whichever you would like to call him. He's sweet, kind and caring. He's trying to figure out what's best for himself and his daughter after his accident and the loss of his wife. I loved the way he was with his daughter. Instead just wanting to hand her off to hired help, he really wanted to raise her himself.

What can I say about Darcy? I liked Darcy at first. She was sweet, caring and a bit sassy. She could definitely hold her own against Colin. I have to admit though towards the middle of the story Darcy kind of got on my nerves.

Even though Darcy kind of got on my nerves I did really enjoy this book. It was sweet and funny at times. And I loved watching the relationship develop between these two characters and watch as they got their Happily Ever After.

I'm giving this book 4 Out of 5 Stars and recommend it!!!!!!

Darcy Cooper is down on her luck, her grandmothers legacy of a nanny service is financially in ruins because of she trusted her ex and he took all her assets. She applies for a nanny position for 6 months with a fantastic pay in hopes to start the day care back up and rehire all her loyal employees. Prince Mikos Colin Alexander is away from his homeland because he wants to raise he daughter out of the spotlight because he had no privacy after the accident that almost crippled him for life and then the death of his wife. He is reluctant but hires Darcy to nanny his daughter but keeps his identity a secret so uses the name Colin. The chemistry between them is felt by both right from the beginning so they both try to fight it and lose but the truth comes out and after all the deception and lies from Darcys ex will she be able to overlook Colin's lies? Not telling because its a book that you will savor and enjoy to the end. Ms Bennett adds a great book to the Billionaires and babies series. Loved it.

Loved this book. Both Darcy and Colin are in pretty tough spots in their lives. Widowed Colin has taken his daughter to the States to really think about his future while dealing with everything. Darcy is as far as the bottom you can get and she desperately needs this nanny position. Colin is instantly attracted to Darcy and doesn't want her to be the nanny, but Iris is instantly connecting with Darcy. So a trial period is set, but can these two keep their hands off each other? The sexual sparks fly between these two. Darcy can't deal with any more lies unfortunately for Colin he is holding a pretty big secret. What happens when the truth comes out? Will Darcy be able to trust Colin again?

When Colin hires a nanny for his young daughter,Darcy Cooper has no idea that the handsome and captivating man is really Prince Mikos Collin Alexander. Recently widowed and hiding out from the press and from the life he knows he should be a part of.She is just trying to keep her grandmother's business open and keep her life together. This is a wonderfully written story. A perfect escape. I really fell for the characters and I found myself rooting for them to find a way toward their happily ever after!
