What a refreshing, lively, and entertaining love story. The connection between Noah and Cat is like a live wire, scorching hot, and at the same time so tender and sweet. They are equal in their partnership and relationship, they protect and take care of each other, the trust and loyalty is there without too much drama and questions. They accept each other the way they are, and there's nothing they wouldn't do for each other. The business Cat is running is successful beyond dreams, and Noah's input, aid, and work in the company is valuable, and appreciated. The dangers and threats towards Cat are soon gone, when Noah comes on board. As well as Noah fits into Cat's world, Cat fits with the big family Noah has, and the reunion in Paris is fun and exciting. This story just put in a good mood, made me smile. The story is well written, the heat level is high through the story, but fits well in the settings ~ Four Spoons
This book coming out was a surprise to me because it seemed like we just got a Stallion story two months or so ago. I enjoyed Noah & Catherine's story. Noah is the oldest Stallion cousin from Salt Lake that helped raise his siblings because of their absent father. I loved that Noah was an emotional guy that wasn't afraid to let Cat know how he felt about her. It was a enjoyable quick read that lets us catch up with those Stallions we have grown to love while getting to know the newest Stallions.
This is a wonderful love story about two people meeting up again who has to find out if what they feel for one another is worth fighting for. Noah and Catherine reunite again at their high school reunion and sparks starts to fly again. Neither knew that while th were in high school that the other had such a serious crush on one another. Noah and Catherine spends the rest of the reunion getting reacquainted with one another. With both of their busy schedules - is what they're feeling for one another enough to remain in each other's lives.
I’m actually sorta shocked I liked it. I put two of her other books back on the shelf at about 30%. I guess I just really liked the heroine. Self-made millionaire (for once, it’s not the guy), no time for BS or insecurities, and ready to get down to the “get down” as with whomever she wants when she wants despite what people may think or say. The rest of the story was par for course for a Kimani romance and (thankfully) we didn’t spend too much time catching up with the other families in the series. But, yeah… the role reversal was a refreshing change.
Once again Mello delivers another page turning book. Noah was truly the perfect match for control freak Cat Moore. I loved how she incorporated the other characters who have captured our hearts in their own stories in this one. At times I thought that it was a bit predicting but even with that Mello still managed to keep us on our toes and throw a few twists and turns in it. I look forward to more good reads.
Detective Noah Stallion and CEO Catherine Moore are hot! Feom beginning to end the chemistry between them heats up the pages. Great job Deborah Fletcher Mello!
I am so glad Cat and Noah found love after many years of crushing on one another in private. So glad Cat didn't let her career and success blind her for what she needed in addition to the millions in her bank account and Noah not being to shy to go after what he really wanted and needed in his life.
This is my first read by Ms. Mello and I must say I really enjoyed it. I like her writing and this book had everything in it I like and it was not predictable. I like Noah for Cat, and think he can handle her. Thought how Noah did Paris was great! This is a must read. Kudos Ms. Mello!
I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review, and here it is. First, let me state that I'm very surprised by the 4- and 5-star reviews that have already been posted.
This is the first novel I've read by this author, and although it started out well, it ended with a whimper. I'm a fan of what I refer to as "rekindled reunion romances", and this one started out with a lot of promise. I liked the lead characters, Noah and Catherine, former high school classmates who meet again when Noah interviews for a job at the company Catherine owns, and again, later at their high school reunion. There's even some intrigue along the way, Catherine is receiving stalker e-mails, and there's a mystery for Noah, a former detective and now Catherine's VP of company security, to solve. Aside from several misused nouns, and the strange, yet often repeated reference to female reproductive organs as "her feminine spirit," I enjoyed the novel up to that point, although the intimate scenes between the hero and heroine were both lacking in heat and rather trite.
Once the mystery is solved, and rather easily, the author turns more of her attention to the romance between the two main characters. However, she introduces what must be at least 20 or more characters in the space of several pages. While these characters may be familiar to fans of this series, it felt as though she needed to increase her page count and therefore added a long list of names and familial relationships, even down to naming babies, who even the hero needed help identifying. Not only was their inclusion little more than a laundry list of what I'm guessing comprise the lead characters who appeared in previous books in this series, but it was also unnecessary, since these characters did virtually nothing to advance the plot, and served no purpose other than to confuse and bore me.
This novel had promise, but that promise was unfulfilled. I think that more suspense, more action, and more character development would have helped immeasurably.
Once again up all night with these Stallion men . When you get to reading about Noah yes he will have you up all night. as always I'm never disappointed reading a book by Deborah Fletcher Mello . If you love reading Romance as much as I do . this is a must read . Trust me you wont be disappointed ,and once again get ready to be up all night or day enjoying a great book by Deborah Fletcher Mello
Wow! Cat Moore is all of that!!! An independent woman that is holding down an international aviation company about to go public on The New York Stock Exchange. The conflict: Cat is caught between her long time friend/dishonest assistant and Noah, a strong, super fine and intelligent man that heads up her security division, who hasn't been in her life that long. Who should Cat believe when everything she has worked for is being threatened? Awesome story!
Deborah Fletcher Mello keeps pumping out spectacular books in this ongoing Stallion series! Noah and Cat are by far the perfect couple. I'm excited to read the next book and as always, it's fun catching up on the rest of the family.
What a Stallion wants they always get. Noah (Patriarch)of his younger sisters and brothers has that magical feeling from a High School crush. Cat Moore, did good and is a self-employed multi-millionaire. What started at a HS reunion takes them to the runways of Paris and love follows..
I enjoyed reading this quick but entertaining love story about Noah and Cat! Past crushes that the other knew nothing about, turned into true love after reconnecting at their high school reunion! I love how humbled Noah is, but tough as nails when his future wife was threatened. Awesome job!
I enjoyed Stallion Magic..A real page turner, it kept me wanting more. I loved Noah and Catherine's romance..they were made for each other. The characters were relatable.. Love how the rest on the Stallion and Boudreaux clan were included...
Noah Stallion of the Utah Stallions has the job and everything else, but is missing one thing, love. At his fifteen year reunion, he runs into an old classmate, Catherine Moore, who also happens to be his childhood crush. An enjoyable romance read.
