What a great office romance!!!!
The beginning of this story is absolutely fabulous!!!
"Put your hands in the air."

The guards roared the words at them, their attention fixed on Harrison. Frankie stuck her hands in the air, her heart slamming so violently against her chest she thought she might pass out. Her gaze sat frozen on the glare of the lights reflected off the silver barrels.
Talk about a "meeting of two minds" with a difference!!!!
"It didn't occur to me you were going to like it, Geoffrey. I pay people like you to make things happen, not for your incredibly insightful strategic thinking."

Harrison Grant. Oh, my God. What is he doing back tonight?

She reared her head up, her skull connecting hard with the inch-thick top of the desk. Stars exploded behind her eyes. A curse escaped her as she dropped the shoe, clasped her head in her hands and absorbed the pulsing aftershocks.

"Good God." The harsh-edged voice came closer. "Geoffrey, I'm going to have to call you back."
Before the end of Chapter 1, I knew I was going to take an interesting trip with these two characters!!!!!

I adored the hero and heroine. Francesca

Francesca “Frankie” Masseria, an absolutely lovable dynamo and stand-in PA to the powerful and sexy CEO , Harrison Grant, is like a breath of fresh air in his rather bleak world of wheeling and dealing life

I liked the chemistry and interaction between these two. There were some wonderful scenes that just grabbed an pulled you in.

Glamorous locations, engaging characters and great plot!!!!

Tempted by Her Billionaire Boss
3 Stars

When his regular PA goes on maternity leave, billionaire CEO Harrison Grant reluctantly takes on his brother's assistant, Francesca Masseria, even though she is proving to be an alluring distraction. Frankie is mortified when she accidentally has her new boss cuffed by security, and is eager to make up for her mistake even though her methods aren't exactly in the job description.

While the office-romance trope is a favorite of mine and the underlying premise of this story is very appealing, the convoluted prose makes it difficult to wade through an otherwise charming romance.

Harrison and Francesca are both engaging characters and they have wonderful chemistry. He is dark, brooding and self-absorbed, but also loyal and intelligent enough to acknowledge his own shortcomings. Frankie is sweet, caring and honest. She stands up to Harrison when he needs it and ultimately brings out the best in him.

Unfortunately, the story is undermined by the problematic writing, which starts off with one of the most incomprehensible sentences that I've ever encountered. Thankfully, the writing does improve as the book progresses and it is entertaining overall.

WOW this is a sizzling and sensual story of a hero that is after revenge and a heroine who is just the person the hero needs she is good caring and very honest and open.

I loved this story from start to finish MS Hayward really knows how to pull you in with her characters she makes them real and brings the best out in them Francesca Masseria comes from a big loving family and is open with her opinions while Harrison Grant although from a loving wealthy family tragedy strikes him at a young age and leaves him wanting revenge he now heads up the family business and there is also thoughts of him going into politics but first after years he is just about to get his revenge but when his PA goes on maternity leave early he is left with a new PA Francesca and he is hard to work with but Francesca is strong determined and a very hard worker their first meeting is a doozy one that will have you smiling but this starts a journey to a HEA that has its ups and downs but is heart-warming as Harrison finally opens up to someone and Francesca gets him to see some truths about himself.

This is a beautiful story that I read in one sitting I really couldn't put is down it is rich in sensuality and emotions the characters are real and believable and I highly recommend this story and I look forward to many more from MS Hayward .

The thing I love the most about Jennifer Hayward’s books is that her story always starts with a bang. The start is always so interesting that I have no problem getting myself hooked to the book. This book was no exception.

Harrison is a tortured hero who starts out as a bitter man with a cold heart. He warms up slowly and learns to leave hatred behind and move forward with Francesca’s help. The journey they take together is amazing because it has a purpose and I instantly fell in love with both of them. They had their irritating moments but I loved both of them towards the end. The thing I love most about Francesca that she is devoted to her career, it might not be an endearing quality for many but her dedication to what she did won me over. She was able to help Harrison because of that quality. The romance is emotional and passionate because of the amazing chemistry between the characters and the smooth, flowing narrative.

I could not keep my hands off this book and was even sad that it ended so soon! A keeper for everyone who loves Jennifer Hayward!Read More

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would....
When a book starts with a fish named Rocky swimming in a fishbowl on the desk of Frankie(Francesca) Masseria, a unexpected replacement PA for CEO Harrison Grant, and he arrives early to find said unknown replacement and makes the statement "Unless this is Goldilocks and the Three bears redone to feature a brunette, you are sitting in the wrong chair" then when accidentally hits panic button and security puts him in handcuffs, you know you are in for a fantastic story. Harrison is out for revenge for the death of his father. Frankie is the angel that enters his life to try to make him leave the hatred behind. She has a wonderful family, Harrison has a brother who you grow to love also. I don't want to give any spoilers away other than to say this is a Presents that cannot be passed up it is the stuff that Presents were made of, and I can say that after I have read every one since #1 . Jennifer has a written a KEEPER. This is part of an installment of the Tenacious Tycoons can't wait for the next

Everyone knows making a good impression on your boss in the first 24 hours is always the key to making yourself known as capable to pull anything and everything off. .

So of course when Francesca Masseria is more than just mortified when her new boss discovers her sitting in the chair of his PA's, shoe-less, skirt riding up showing off legs and stockings , bottle of wine on hand and to top it all off she hits the panic button and has him placed in handcuffs.

Harrison Grant is less than impressed with Francesca's escapades but because he discovers she's the replacement PA he pretty much has no choice and tries to smooth over the disastrous first encounter. First things first he has to focus on the ultimate revenge deal of his career and Francesca has some skills that will come in handy.

Secondly all he has to do is ignore the sexy dreams his mind has started conjuring up ever since the handcuff incident, and last but not least he cannot under any circumstances allow Francesca to get under his skin, it will ruin her. With is cold heart and ability to shut the world out, it should be easy, but then he allows Francesca a glimpse into his heart and his entire plan falls apart.

This is by far the sexiest book this author has written, from page one there is this overwhelming in your face sexual chemistry between the hero and heroine that is so strong it leaped from the pages and dragged me into their world. I absolutely adored the conflict moments, it was as if I was right there for fire and ice coming together for the number one game of the year.

The character of Harrison is the typical cold hearted bastard found in these reads, but with a whole lot more depth. The author did not just give him the cold attitude with the little glimpses of warmth, she layered this man out with so many layers and each and every single layer revealed was like discovering a new hero. I loved Harrison's passion for revenge, of course I know that revenge is never the answer to anyone's past misfortunes, it never makes you feel any better and it drains the life out of you. But the author let his mission for revenge seem so valid and so real that I actually wanted him to execute it, and that is a definite sign that an author knows exactly what she's doing. Through this character the author certainly showed just how convincing revenge can seem when in actual fact there is a whole other message one needs to be seeking.

The character of Francesa was well in the simplest way I know how to explain it, me. I saw myself through this character, I am just like her always making sure my work is up to date, the long hours, the making sure all i's are dotted and t's are crossed to ensure my boss looks like the professional the world needs him to be, of course there are plenty of woman out there that do exactly the same, not everyone's boss of course is the sexy Harrison, and thankfully not all of us leave our boss in handcuffs the first time we meet him!

But we push ourselves beyond our limits and most of the time we, and just as Francesca, we don't realize that our hard working nature is causing us to miss what other's are able to see. That we mean more to certain people than what we want to believe , and that when the time comes for us to see it, we will need to remember to push the ourselves to believe we can achieve happiness just like we achieve success in our workplace.

This read was perfect and had everything that makes me fall in love with HP 's books a super sexy hero that goes from being pretty much a real zero to the ultimate hero, a heroine that totally rocks and the simple yet very elegant plot that had me hanging onto the edge of my seat. Tempted by her Billionaire Boss is a true gem of a read, passionate, sexy, fun, flirtatious, emotional, heartwarming the list of perfection goes on and on. This author is one that will go down in history as an absolute master of the romance craft.

I will also add that during this read I was also introduced to Harrison's brother , and my oh my what a brother he is, the author gave me just enough info to wet my appetite and I cannot wait to read all about Coburn and his guaranteed brought to his knees downfall.

I highly recommend this read for all romance lovers, if you are in need of an escape into the world of true reach into the depth of my soul romance this is the book to pick up.

I'm going to have to expand my top 6 authors to top 7 because I cant bare to kick any off the list to add Jennifer Hayward, and add her I must!

I've just finished Tempted by her Billionaire Boss and I give it a solid 5 out of 5. Jennifer Hayward has such a magical ability with her writing. Her descriptive writing is so emotive and I honestly feel like I'm right there amongst it. Tempted by her Billionaire Boss is no exception. From the exceptional start where Francesca first meets Harrison face to face in a the office right thru to the glowing conclusion Jennifer has wrapped me up in her phenomenal way of telling a story and I've once again, lost all track of time and completely left the washing pile and vaccuming to be done "later".

Frankie is P.A to Coburn, Harrison's brother. Coburn lends Frankie to Harrison when Harrison's P.A goes into labor. Harrison has a reputation as a P.A slayer so Frankie is apprehensive and jittery at the thought of working for Harrison and their first meeting is hilarious and as unconventional as one can imagine but it's the start of something amazing. Together they go on a emotional and heartfelt journey as Harrison is hell bent on exacting revenge for his father's death. Frankie is the light to Harrison's dark and the two clash but opposites attract and for once Harrison questions his motives.

Tempted by Her Billionaire Boss is such a solid story because the characters are developed, the story is believable and the pace is set at the perfect pace. I liken it to popping a hot water bottle into bed... it slowly warms up to a sizzling temperature. I am so loving Frankie and Harrison's story and Coburn was built up in such the perfect way i can.not.wait to read his story in October 2015. I can't even begin to think how he is tamed.

Tempted by her Billionaire Boss isn't a cliche Boss/Secretary story, it's solid and builds up and each character is fully developed, in fact Frankie is so lovely I wish she was one of my friends. I love her family and I almost wish her brother Salvatore gets his story too. I loved that they stayed in the Chatsfield and I loved the realistic way Harrison was written.

Thank you again Jennifer Hayward - you are an amazing writer and I just want more and more :) Thank you for the ARC for my honest opinion. My honest opinion is that you are an incredible writer and you truly tug the strings in my heart :)

Opposites definitely attract! Though Jennifer Hayward's characters may well be on the opposite ends of the pole...they surely come together on an emotional journey of self discovery. Harrison Grant may be introduced as a brute in the beginning of the book but eventually he learns to act more compassionately, more...human. Francesca on the other hand is a different story. She starts off on the wrong foot on her new job when she accidentally puts her boss in handcuffs - hilarious. From here on things gets angsty and you are sucked up...

Overall, Tempted by Her Billionaire Boss by Jennifer Hayward is a romantic epiphany that evokes and tantalizes the sensory nerves. This entertaining office romance sweeps you away with a plot brimming with highs and lows, laughs and many more emotions so raw you feel it. Thoroughly developed three-dimensional characters that stand out and command attention makes this sensational book a must-read. Thank you Jennifer Hayward for your story.

It really is a 4.25

Meeting your new boss and having him in handcuffs in less than an hour? That is what Frankie makes happen in the opening chapter. An encounter that just makes all further encounters more fun to read.

Harrison, on the other hand is not at all amused irrespective of the fact that the little incident is making him have fantasies that involved his brunette PA.

Weary and cautious of the spark between them, these two tip toe around each other, holding themselves back. But emotions run high needing to be acknowledged.

But that seems to be not enough as the demons of past haunt Harrison and Frankie is afraid that she may not be able to put a sword through them all.

But in all the darkness and light fighting each other is a story of two souls finding their soul mate.

This is a fabulous story with two amazing, interesting main characters.

Unfortunately I read this in November 2020 - five years after it was published I think, and I’m afraid the bit of the storyline about the hero, the billionaire running for President, just made me feel so uncomfortable because of the political parallels. I wish the author had had him running as a governor or senator rather than the President. Parallels to real life were really off putting for me I’m afraid.

However the rest of the story is fabulous - adult, intelligent, sexy, emotional, complicated and altogether fabulous. JH is a great writer!

Whenever I pick up a novel by Jennifer Hayward, I know I’m guaranteed a fabulous read. “Tempted by Her Billionaire Boss” is no exception. Ms. Hayward has worked her story weaving magic once again, delivering an incredibly compelling new romance in this first book of “The Tenacious Tycoons” series.

Harrison Grant is everything a connoisseur of romance could possibly desire in a hero and then some. He’s powerful, compelling, and sexy with a capital “S”. Harrison’s new PA, the dynamic Francesca “Frankie” Masseria, is every bit his match. Besides, what’s there not to like about a heroine who has a pet orange parrot cichlid fish named Rocky Balboa, and whose first office encounter with her boss in her role as his PA ends up with him in handcuffs?

With a reel you in plot, glamorous settings, and wonderfully multidimensional characters whose chemistry is hot enough to ignite a bonfire in the Arctic, this romance is in perfect Hayward form. My only regret is that I have to wait until October to enjoy Harrison’s brother Coburn’s story.

The book started off very interesting with the security guards and goldfish, but it kind of fizzled out the longer it went on. The overarching storyline didn't feel very real, despite having it forced down our throats the entire book, and the chemistry between Frankie and Harrison felt a bit forced. I wasn't especially interested in the characters and their history, which made it hard for me to really connect with them. However, the writing was very good, including the dialogue.

I'm sure there are a lot of readers that will enjoy this book.

"Tempted by Her Billie novels 35 years ago. Loved it. onaire Boss" by Jennifer Hayward was an amazing read. Classic romance at its best. Francesca Masseria almost gets her new, temporary, boss Harrison Grant arrested on her first day at work. Several things happen on that first day. One, Harrison sees Francesca's unbelievably long legs clad in old fashioned stalking's and two, she she's him in handcuffs. The two of them together is like seeing a unlit firecracker just waiting to go off. There is way more to this book, and instead of telling you about the whole book I feel it should be read instead. This is romance like I used to read about when I first started reading romance.

Tempted by Her Billionaire Boss is a great read and I highly recommend it for anyone who's a fan of this line. Harrison is the classic Presents alpha male hero you can't help but love. Francesca is his feisty substitute secretary who refuses to be intimidated even when she's sorely tempted to. She sees the good in him and helps him see it in himself as he works his revenge on a rival business man. Loved these characters and their journey to love! Looking forward to her next one!

Love it, love it, love it!

I thought The Magnate's Manifesto was going to be my favorite but Harrison and Frankie's story just proved to me that Jennifer Hayward can really weave a story.

The way she writes the conversations between characters is witty and wise. The twists and turns of the story kept me turning page after page. I couldn't stop! A fish named Rocky Balboa - hahahaha!

Ms. Hayward, I am a fan forever!

I liked this! Jennifer Hayward consistently writes HPs that I like and occasionally love. This one gets bonus points more just being a straight romance with no tortured complications as to why the people involved can't be together, besides emotional stupidity. Which is just how I like it.

Maybe a little too much about Frankie "radiating innate goodness" and the category constraints meant that the latter part of the romance just kind of whizzed by, but over all, a good read.

I loved the way this book started out. I just wished it would have kept that intensity throughout the book. Frankie Masseria was sent to be a Personal assistant for Harrison Grant. His PA went into premature labor. Harrison Grant is a only 33, and CEO. He has enough clout in the business world that he may run in the presidential election as a independent, and may win. If Frankie can survive the next six weeks, it would help her career. She has never met her new boss yet. He is suppose to be out of town. She is shocked when he walks into the office late one night. Frankie bumps her head when she crawls under her desk to retrieve her shoe. Her head hurt, and she was seeing stars, so everything that happened next was kind of a blur. Armed men ran into the office, and demanded that Harris put his hands up. Come to find out, she had hit the panic button by mistake, when she hit her head. Now her new boss is in hand cuffs. What a way to start out her new job.
The chemistry was hot between Frankie, and Harris throughout the story. The plot was good, and this was a entertaining book.

LOVED IT!
Picture this. You’re bent under your desk, skirt riding up your legs, the tops of your lacy stockings on display and your temporary boss appears – twenty-four hours earlier than scheduled.
So begins the relationship of Francesca Masseria and Harrison Grant that is, in turn, professional, frank, desirous and stressful.
Harrison, the wealthy and driven CEO of Grant Industries, is haunted by demons of the past, determined to destroy the man he believes ruined his father. Francesca is a sharp, wise, generous person who sees through Harrison’s vulnerabilities.
While this is a story of wealth, power and glamour, it is also a journey into self-discovery of two wonderful, multi-dimensional characters who are truly a perfect fit for each other. I loved following Francesca and Harrison on their sometimes difficult path to happiness.
I’m looking forward to Coburn’s story in Part Two of the Tenacious Tycoons due to hit the stands in October.

I like this author and currently enjoy reading her books. This is the story of the Grant Brother. This is the older brother. Who had to take up a lot of trouble and issues for his industrialist family. Harrison had to literally be the rock to hold his family and their business in place after their father committed suicide and the business was almost wiped up. He is bent on revenge and he had a haphazard view of love and women. Enter the temp. PA since his regular PA had to go on maternity leave. Frankie is the PA on loan from his brother. They had a funny first meeting. Needless to say they try to work together but the attraction is there. And all the other issues in his life will somehow get in the way. It's how they figure it out and work it out that was interesting. I like the story of the Grant brothers they are flawed but loveable.

I don't know how she comes up with them. Jennifer Hayward is a master at creating unique opening scenes for her books. I loved the opening ... with the heroine, Francesca, causing absolute havoc that ends up with her boss in handcuffs. The story picks up even more momentum from there.

And if you liked this opening, I'd also recommend Changing Constantino's Game.
