If you go in with an open mind and expecting this to be extremely fast pace due to it being more of a novella style of writing, I'd say it was an overall good afternoon read to break up the long books on your tbr. While I wish we got more meat to the story to fully understand what and why things were happening, you can't help but like the story and its characters anyway. I loved the bonus chapters at the end! Cerberus was so adorable ❤️ I can't wait to see how her prequel turns out as I'm expecting more meat to the story and plot with this upcoming book. Overall, fun afternoon read and a nice break from the LONG romantasy books I've been obsessing over. For anyone looking for a short, fast-paced, afternoon read I recommend.

This is a fast read that holds a lot within the story. I absolutely loved the enemies to lovers vibe. This dark romantasy is sure to fill any cravings you may have for a shadow daddy. Serephine is the perfect fmc in the story and Vaelen is the perfect dark MMC. The bonus chapters are a wonderful spark of light to this dark romantasy. Read. This. Read. It. Now.

I marked this 4 stars because I wish it was longer with a bit more back story, that’s it. The writing is unique and refreshing. The angst is felt through every page. It’s a true enemies to lovers and I’m here for it!
