Aplaudo el valor de Kaneshiro para hacer lo que ha hecho con Nagi, todo drama NagiReo es bienvenido, el final de Kaiser con Ness es brutal e Isagi viniéndose arriba siempre es un gustazo. Mi único pero es que no hay una despedida de los maestros.

kaneshiro is infusing as much miscommunication as he can into these two like at any given moment they are talking PAST each other even though they want the same thing it's so terrible and yet so entertaining

"wanting to be the world's best wasn't as strong a feeling as my fear of being separated from you" it's kinda funny how much kaneshiro loves creating more angst for them like a romantasy book where the big strong immortal vampire/demon/fairy man has to make everything worse to protect the small badass beautiful girl/self-insert as the miscommunication spirals just so we get some semblance of plot. not that i'm saying this is that level of bad, bc they're openly expressing their feelings but it's not enough.
and despite that he apologizes for breaking their promise omg
reo blaming himself for forcing nagi to play football just for nagi to be like no just to comfort him. "you're forceful and selfish and nervous but being with you showed me so many new sides of myself" this is textbook romance language

i cannot believe he actually took this route. i thought ness would be just some guy that kaiser steps on to get to the top, who knew their relationship would be developed this much?? i applaud you kaneshiro fr you really know what you're doing when you focus on yaoi

let's take a second to realize that ness is the only one who kaiser voices his self-hatred to, whether he realizes it or not

50 days until the u-20 world cup -> ofc japan will make it to the final and it'll be interesting to see which country kaneshiro chooses to make it there. irl the 2019 winners and 2023 winners are irrelevant but he'll probably pick germany. and i doubt japan will win, but they'll obviously win the actual world cup. or japan WILL win the u20s and that'll be the arc wrapped up? but idc bc we're FINALLY out of the NEL arc and i want a beach/shibuya outing next.

Fun set up for the next arc. And also surprisingly sentimental given that Blue Lock is the anti-sports manga (in the sense that friendships are not supposed to be a driving factor), yet in spite of the environment, powerful bonds are made! Very sweet.

Action filled as always!! I read up to the latest chapter as much as I could. I believe this is the one with Nagi rediscovering his “Ego” and it has one of the best panels I’ve ever seen drawn.
