Knotting Hill Omegaverse #4

Brandy Snap: Part Three 1

Rate this book
We thought the danger had passed.

Settled in Kai's nest, with Sin and Caspian guarding us from their families, I thought the worst was over. But it's only just begun.

We have one more week until the Selection Ceremony, two more chances to show that I'm really their mate, and then we're free. Then our deal is over, and we won't have to pretend anymore.

But it's become to real to turn back now.

We've faked our relationship so much that the bites in my skin and the bond between us mean I can't escape. Kai and Sin want us to be pack, but Caspian and I hurt too much.

And the question still hangs over us: will I stay when the countdown ends? Or will they find out the secret of how we met, and reject me forever?

It is essential to read Part One and Two of Brandy Snap before beginning Part Three for the continuation of the story.

Short and spicy dark romance omegaverse. Part of the Knotting Hill Omegaverse Romance (Suck It Up) series. You have to read the previous Brandy Snap books before reading this one.

Great addition to Melanie, Kai, Sin & Caspian’s story. This one was shorter than the previous books in the series, but not any less eventful or emotional. With each book I like Kai more and more and he’s probably my favorite character at this point.

With these books you never know what’s going to happen next and I really enjoy all the twists and turns.

Loved having the short summary of the previous books right at the beginning of this one. And I can’t wait to read the next book!

“I don’t want to be in a pack where I have to put up with growling, snarling, and coldness for the rest of my life.”
“That’s what you like, isn’t it? You like it when I call you mine,”
“If you keep crying my name so sweetly, I’m going to lose it,”
“I’m so sorry we’re not good enough for you. I’m so fucking sorry you’ve scent matched with pieces of shit like us, but I’ll make it better, okay?”
“Enjoy your bloodline, bitch,”
“There’s different kinds of asshole, and I’m one of the good ones.”
“We deserve better than this, Brandy. And I can’t fucking believe it took you coming into our lives to make me realise that.”

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.

After a killer cliffhanger in both Brandy Snap parts one and two, I could not wait to get my hands on book 3 to see how things progressed for the trio and Melanie.

The story continues straight on from where we left off with Sin and a very enraged Caspian heading back for the pre-selection ceremony dinner with the families and a host of suitable Omegas.

This was never going to go well after the events of part 2 and with Cas already in such a state.

I really can't give too much away here - just in case you've not caught up with the rest of the story but what an absolute rollercoaster this read was!

Poor Melanie is once again dragged around by Zania and  Vivian and the tension reaches boiling point before all hell breaks loose!

I could not put this book down from the very first page to the last and my heart was in my mouth the whole way!

It was great to see much more or Caspian in this book as so far, he's been quite detached from the group and so we haven't seen how the bond between the 4 of them could even work out.

But with the developments throughout this part of the story, we see a different side to Cas and start to see the potential of a future.

Unfortunately, the relationship is otherwise strained and this causes more problems as tempers fray.

As ever, things get pretty hot and heavy throughout this read and it was great to see new connections made.

This spice definitely helped to progress the storyline on its journey towards the final selection ceremony - but with all the new developments, I'm afraid of what might come next.

When I first went into this book, I wasn't quite prepared to discover that we are once again being left on a cliffhanger and honestly! this was the biggest so far and I did not see that coming at all!

My jaw was on the floor and I needed a minute to process!

These characters have honestly won my heart and as much as I NEED this to end so I can find out how this all concludes - I'm going to be so sad when this is over!

Ok, I'm ready....give me book 3.2 nooooow!

Brandy Snap: Part Three (Part One) is Book four in the Suck It Up series, but it can be read as a standalone. While Brandy Snap as a whole can be read as a standalone it is imperative to read part one and part two of this book before this book. You can read Bubblegum Pop (Book one in the Suck it Up series) to heighten your enjoyment of this book, but it isn’t necessary to read it before this book.

Just when you think the danger has eased, this book reminds you that safety in Knotting Hill is an illusion.

Part 3.1 is heavy in the best way. It’s emotionally dense, claustrophobic, and charged with that awful knowledge that time is running out. The countdown to the Selection Ceremony looms over every page, and it turns even the quiet moments into something sharp and fragile. Nothing feels stable at all, not the bonds, not the protection, and definitely not Melanie’s place in this pack.

What hit me hardest in this book was how real everything has become. Everything no one wants to leaves bruises even when no one says a word. Kai and Sin feel sure in ways that are almost terrifying, while Caspian remains all sharp edges and unresolved pain, and that tension makes every interaction ache.

Melanie continues to be one of the reasons I’m invested. She’s still cornered by power she doesn’t have, but she’s stronger, more aware, more stubborn, and more willing to sit in the discomfort of impossible choices now. Watching her navigate love, fear, and survival while knowing one wrong truth could cost her everything kept me glued to the page.

This being only half of Part Three is cruel. The story stops right when the emotional pressure is peaking, leaving you stuck in uncertainty and dread. It’s not a nice and neat pause; it’s the kind that lingers.

Part 3.1 is tense, intimate, and emotionally brutal. If you’re here for slow-burn pain, complicated pack dynamics, and the moment when pretending becomes more dangerous than the truth, this half of book three of Brandy Snap delivers, and then leaves you holding your breath for what comes next.

As always be mindful of trigger warnings, and what I like you may not.

Happy Reading!

Rogue Red and Rage

The selection ceremony is drawing ever closer and everyone has an agenda. Melanie as bond with Kai has continued to get stronger while her uncertainty of the future remains.

This book made me so mad at each of these men for different reasons. Everyone is trying to survive and fix everything but the problems are multiplying and holes in the pack continue to grow. Seriously this pack needs some group therapy or an intervention.

Melanie continues to grow stronger even with everything pulling her down. There needs to be one heck of a redemption and groveling for me to get on board with this group becoming a functional pack.

Sin continues to piss me off. I both hate his choices but some I also understand but they still piss me off. Caspian and his rogue issues definitely cause a lot of problems here.

Now Kai has every right to be angry and I agree with a lot of his choices. His pack may love him but he deserves so much more than they have given him. Cas and Sin should gave stood up for him and Mel better.

Now the current issues are a product of Kai finally standing up for himself, not being listened to and lack of communication. Mel is seriously in the middle of such a mess.

I honestly have absolutely no idea how this is going to come together and have a happy ending. There will have to be some major changes. Communication, support, groveling, and I gave no idea what else to make this okay.

I would have happily waited longer for part three to be completed than to have this broken into even more pieces though. I'm ready for this to be resolved and to see them all healing. This ended with EVERYONE not okay and so now I am also no okay and need to see how this comes together.

☆ 4 stars ☆

I definitely think that this didn’t have to be split into two parts. I would have been more than willing to wait for it to be released as one full book.

ONCE AGAIN, Caspian and Sin are pissing me off. *eye roll* They really came off as spineless and not willing to really change anything about their behavior until it’s too late. Honestly, I’m with Kai and how he responds to everything that happened in this part. Hell, I’m with Kai on how he’s dealt with everything from every part before this part and before the events of the novels. Like boys, listen to what Kai and Mel are saying for once. Kai has gone through years of shit because y’all couldn’t be men and stand up to your shitty parents.

If Caspian and Sin have one hater, it’s me. If they have no haters, I am dead. I will stand my ground on that one. Lowkey throw them away and I will take care of the omegas. They shall be protected by me. Sin constantly being emotionless and guiding Caspian’s decision even after Cas and Mel bonding just AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I’m so angry with just everything and I was ripping my hair out the entire time. Mel is a confused baby but I appreciate that she goes with Kai on his plans because he NEEDS someone to pick him for once.

I’ve said my piece.

Light of my life.

A dark and very steamy why-choose omegaverse with MM.

It’s incredible how Abby makes me more and more addicted to this series with every new book. As much as I loved the previous, the next one somehow manages to be even better — and more emotionally intense — at the same time.

You know that feeling when your heart is pounding?
When you’re so nervous you can’t sit still?
That little rush inside you that keeps building until you almost shout out loud without realizing you’re in public?
That’s exactly how this series makes me feel.

It grips me until the very last page — and even then, I’m left shouting, “What?” and “Why?” Even with cliffhangers, Abby always manages to surprise me and leave me completely stunned.

These alphas still have a lot of groveling to do, and the reasons keep piling up.
Meanwhile, the omegas grow with every page. Still, their mood swings sometimes leave me a little dizzy, thinking, “Wait a minute — weren’t we supposed to be upset?”

I can’t wait for the final book to see how everything unfolds and what their HEA will be like.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

Okay, listen. When I say this series just keeps getting better, I mean that. Brandy Snap Part 3, Part 1 (yes, the title is doing the most, just go with it) delivers everything I’ve been begging for since book one—payoff, growth, and characters actually making choices that matter. The writing feels sharper, the stakes are higher, and the emotional tension? Chef’s kiss.

Kai the male omega is the star (NEVER thought I’d prefer him over Brandy)- Let’s just say someone finally wakes up and decides to act like he has a spine. There’s character development. There’s empowerment. There’s that exact flavor of catharsis that has you pacing around your room yelling “YES!” at fictional people.

The ending left me absolutely feral but in a good way. The kind of cliffhanger that feels less like a slap and more like a promise. I’m practically vibrating waiting for Part 2. I need to see how this all unfolds.

If you’ve been following the series, this is a must-read. And if you’re new? Buckle up.

4.5⭐️

Oh my goodness gracious does Abby take us another emotionally heightened rollercoaster! We pick up in this next installment of Brandy and her pack’s story after one killer cliffhanger (thank you for the quick story summary of what has happened so far). I don’t want to say too much and spoil any foreshadowing; BUT, let’s just say that the repercussions of book 2 lead to an avalanche of epic proportions.

Brandy, Kai, Sin, and Cas must navigate the fallout of their choices and find a way navigate the ramifications of past decisions that have negatively affected this fledging new beginning. Trust is tested and broken as reality sheds a harsh mirror on the healthiness of this pack and whether it’s possible to nurture a new beginning.

If you have loved the precious books in this series, I urge you to continue on this journey when book 3.1 releases on January 30th. As always, please check content warnings as there are some emotionally impactful events and discussions that could be triggering.

This series keeps pulling me in and wanting to know what will happen next! I'm so happy Mel and Caspain took a few steps forward in their relationship though it was quite traumatic for the whole pack. How Caspian's family met their end was so satisfying in the end, made it worth the build up over the 3 books. I wanted there to be more, it felt over too quickly! Kai seems to definitely be feeling the cracks and pressure within the pack and looking forward to how it gets resolved. Sin is also feeling all of the pressure of trying to keep the pack together and safe.

So excited for the next part and how everything that's come to a climax will be resolved.

enjoyed

Been a while since I dived into this series. I had to kinda refresh myself on the books. Abby did a good job with this book and I enjoyed this read. This book is intense and emotionally can be a lot. Make sure to check TW before reading.

I enjoyed the characters and getting to know them more in this book. I feel like there were things that got solved and things that didn’t quite yet. I feel like the dynamic between the characters has gotten stronger but also we learn even more about some of the characters.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and recommend if you like omegaverse.

I have become so totally invested in these characters' lives, drama, pain, and I hope healing. I'm chomping at the bit for the final book.

From the first novel to this one, this book has pulled every emotion from me. Anger, dear lord, those boys were horrid from the start. Then sadness, especially for Kai, at all he had been put through.  To hope, for both Kai and Brandy (Melanie), for them to have found each other.    And plenty of wtf just happened moments.

Fantastic read, beautifully crafted omegaverse with characters and a storyline that hooked me from the start.

This book left me feeling desperate the whole time. I kept asking myself, when are they finally going to be happy?

I honestly feel like Caspian and Sin needed to crawl for Melanie and Kai. They’ve been through so much, especially Melanie that I needed to see real groveling and consequences, not a quick, easy forgiveness.

Even so, I really enjoyed it. It’s a quick but addictive read that pulls you in completely.

I just know one thing. I need the next book now.🙂😩😩😩

Melanie and her relationship with her guys just keeps getting more and more complicated! Caspian’s mom became even more of a problem, and they finally did something about it. Now, they’re trying to find their way forward, but it’s not really smooth sailing. Kai takes matters into his own hands, for better or worse. I’m not sure which yet. Spicy and a bit dark and ends on another cliffy. Can’t wait for the last book!

I really really REALLY want to like it. I enjoyed the first 2 books of this series so much but unfortunately this book fell a bit flat for me. I also hate that it's unfinished. I'm losing the thread of it a bit and I'm not sure if I'll read the next book.

At this point I'm not sure if there are any likeable characters?

Maybe when it's finished I'll read it all together as one and re-review.

The story here has my attention since the start of book 1 and now we are on three part 1 so to say I'm excited isn't enough. I loved the story here even though it was on the shorter side for me. I loved the summary of previous events to get you right back in and oh boy I wasn't ready for it. I do wish the relationships went a little quicker but loved seeing more of Caspian and I can see a future there for sure. Can't wait for the next.

Everyone is going feral!!

Zania is still trying to remove both Kai and Brandy from Caspian and Sin’s lives. Everything goes to h3)) in a handbasket when Zania starts pressing very hard. She tries to set up meet and greet dinner with other omegas when nothing else appears to not work and the world goes boom. Everyone runs in different directions. I don’t know if this pack can get back in sync together! This ends in a cliffhanger, so I hope part 3.2 comes out soon!

Amazing continuation of the series

Kai and Melanie are really just trying to survive the situation both have been pushed into against their will.
Zania is still her evil self, manipulating everything and everyone surrounding them.
We delve a bit more into Sin and Caspian, getting to know them and their motivations better.
I am absolutely not on board with Sin, he really isn't a great guy.
I'm desperately in need of the ending to this series.

Back into the chaos with Mel, Kai, Cas and Sin. Secrets, Vindictive Parents, betrayal, Silence. I feel like I’m riding a roller coaster in the middle of the night with a storm raging. Not knowing if we are about to turn left or have the track dropped out from under us. One thing is for sure….These four need therapy. Lots and lots of therapy. Until then, I’ll be waiting for the next book to drop.

Another great book in the story, this book is full of revenge and regret.
I loved where the storyline went in this book. I can not wait for 3.2 to see how it all works out.
Good character development, and ending which left me needing more.
I couldn't put this book down, it picked straight up from previous book and captivated me from the start.

This series just keeps getting better. I am officially 100% team Kai. Even with all his crazy. This man never once shies away from taking care of our girl and I love him so much for this. This pack has been through so much. There is so main pain and emotion in part 3.1. The plot twist at the end has me hanging off the edge of my seat ready for the finale!! I NEED to see what happens next!

The twists and turns just keep on coming! Another fabulous instalment in the sexy series is a hit with me. I am anxiously waiting for the conclusion to the book, because we keep being left on a cliff lol. I really enjoyed how the characters interact and how much emotion is displayed throughout these books. I feel like I’m right there with Mel and the guys! Bring on the next book please!!

A much shorter book with a roll coaster experience.

Characters develop continues, but it’s where you expect it to be based on the prior books. If you’re after smut, it’s not as descriptive as the other books, it’s there but more vanilla’ish. It doesn’t detract from the story.

What will Part 3.2 bring to round out this story?

The story continues from where the previous book left off. Parts of it were a bit dark, emotional and gory, but we did get a rather satisfying resolution to a big part of the plot. The main characters still have a lot of healing to do which brings us to another cliffhanger before we get the next book.

Love the chaos that is Kai, Mel, Caspian and Sin. It is a rollercoaster of emotions with this pack. ZANIA IS HORRIBLE! But someone has to be the villain. Great continuation of the story. Ends in a cliff hanger. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

After that cliffhanger in chapter 2 I didn’t think this ride could get any crazier. Spoiler it can. Very fast paced and a satisfying next installment. I really loved seeing the pack come together a little more. And still Zania is the worst.

Melanie, Kai, Sin & Caspian’s story continues in part 3.1 and I need part 2 ASAP.

The stakes and emotions run high and Caspians mother is still a witch of a woman.
The pack getting closer is just what i needed and the cliffhanger has me wanting more!!
