Love, law & living with the darkness of evil people
Love, law & living with the darkness of the depraved evil that human beings do to each other… & trying to come out on the other side less broken than you went in.
One of MacLeod's best books, as a captivating, complex story that simultaneously goes back into the past to unveil the things that have already happened and moving to the future & the possibilities of what could be. &fragile yet strong, all-encompassing main characters drive this story of mystery, suspense, romance & drama all rolled into one incredible novel.
Super good, absolutely kept me captivated, but it also left me with a number of questions at the end, so I hope there is a book #2. I'd like know what happened next.
