As I got to know her, I felt her angst, loneliness and frustration, but also begin to see there are secrets that she has harboured for a very long time. Her estranged children come back into the picture in a troubling way and slowly some of the secrets start to be revealed. Through the unexpected twists and turns of the story, a picture of how things really are starts to emerge. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, there was the very unexpected ending! A great read.
What an amazing suspenseful story full of secrets to keep you intrigued. Irma’s life is turned upside down when she becomes a widow. All alone and not in touch with her family is difficult. Then strange things happen and her daughter appears. What does this all mean , will she be able to find the truth in time. Ready for the next book.
