In this international thrill ride from the author of The Elias Network, an investigative journalist’s abduction unravels an intricate conspiracy of corruption—both deadly and deeply personal.
After a brutal mission in France, former assassin Caspian Anderson recovers in the arms of German agent Liesel Bergmann on the shores of Mallorca. But their peace is short-lived. Just when he thinks he could get used to the quiet, a journalist is abducted before his eyes—and Caspian is pulled back into a world he thought he’d escaped.
The trail leads to Hearts United, a global humanitarian organization whose noble facade conceals something far more sinister. As loyalties fracture and allies vanish, Caspian and Liesel chase the truth across Europe, uncovering a network of corruption capable of reshaping nations—and destroying anyone who stands in its way.
As the pieces of the puzzle start coming together, more players enter the game, each one more unlikely than the last. Liesel’s sister. Caspian’s brother. A former police officer. A wealthy philanthropist. Caught between family and duty, Caspian and Liesel must expose the conspiracy and risk everything to protect the people who never saw it coming.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
When I started to read this book, it all felt too much, to be honest, since many characters were introduced in quick succession and it felt a bit hard to keep up, but as the plot progressed, everything fell into place and it was a quick read that kept me on my toes. Although I did have a few suspicions, the ending was totally unexpected.
I really loved the writing style of the author, and the short chapters made me fly through the pages! It was a fun read!
Honestly, I love how deeply each character resonated in the story. I haven't read the first two books, but they're gonna be on my TBR definitely!
The tension at the end had me pulling out my hair. If I had more time to read, I could've finished this book in one sitting. I hope that conveys how engaging the book was!
I hope there's another book following Mia — I'd definitely eat it up! I loved her resilience and strength. She's the favorite in this book for sure!
Another good one from Simon Gervais. Action packed from beginning right until the very end…
Caspian is an assassin. A good one. So when he’s on a job, the job gets done. But after his last adventure, he’s not really sure this is what he wants… but he gets dragged back into it, all the same, in the blink of an eye.
I will say that there are a lot of characters in this one, and it was a bit difficult to keep them all straight. But other than that, there’s a lot of action, a lot of quick moves and a lot of watching your back 24/7. I did not read the other books in the series, so I wonder if that was a mistake…
In any case, there were some pretty scary parts nearing the end of the book.
All in all a good read. 4 stars for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely loved this action packed thriller. The scenes were so vivid that I could almost see the movie unfolding in my mind (and it might actually be happening soon per the acknowledgements). It’s fast paced, tense, and a total page turner. I haven’t read the earlier two books, but this still worked perfectly on its own. It also feels like it could be the final instalment, unless Elias finds a way back :)
I do wish Lisel had a more concrete role to play. That’s just my personal pet peeve, but I still loved the entire cast. What stood out most to me is how balanced the abilities felt on both sides. Even though the main character is portrayed as the best, it never felt one-sided. The opposition felt formidable, and the cat-and-mouse tension stayed believable throughout.
The plot is tight and full of moments where I found myself wondering how the characters would possibly get out of the situation. This is easily one of the best action stories I’ve read this year.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
The Elias Conspiracy is a fast-moving thriller with an interesting setup, but it didn’t really blow me away.
The story starts off strong and moves at a good pace, forcing you to read 'just one more page'. The core conspiracy is intriguing, and there are a few twists that raise the stakes. If you enjoy political or spy-style thrillers, there’s plenty here to keep you entertained, especially if you like books that focus more on plot than introspection.
At times I felt like the book played it a bit safe. Some of the twists were easy to see coming, and a few scenes felt familiar if you’ve read a lot in this genre. The characters, while likable, didn’t always feel fully fleshed out, and I found myself more invested in what was happening than in who it was happening to. The writing is clean and straightforward, but it doesn’t always leave a lasting impression.
A solid 3.5. Not especially memorable, but a perfect choice if you're in the mood for a quick, conspiracy-driven thriller.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review "The Elias Conspiracy", the third book in Simon Gervais series to feature Caspian Anderson and Liesel Bergmann. On vacation in Mallorca, while our for his morning run, Caspian witnesses the kidnapping of a star journalist, plunging him and Liesel back into the world of espionage; and when they are attacked while having dinner with Liesel's supposedly-long-dead sister, things take an even sinister turn which will ultimately take them on an international hunt for a stone-cold killer (who incidentally keeps a tally of her kills with every additional murder). As the pieces of the puzzle start coming together, more players enter the game, each one more unlikely than the last., including Caspian’s brother. A former police officer. A wealthy philanthropist... and leads to a global humanitarian organization whose noble facade conceals something far more sinister. Will Caspian have to become Elias - master assassin - once more? Or could the events in the previous caper which led to the near-fatal shooting of Liesel, the love of his life, lead to a change of life for them both. Just as exciting and action-filled as the previous two books, this is definitely worth a read or two. Highly recommended.
A true thank you to Simon Gervais, Thomas & Mercer, and NetGalley for the advanced copy.
Caspian and Liesel are back after their drama in France. Vacationing/recuperating in Mallorca, they individually stumble onto the same intertwined shadow organization. A surprise from Liesel's past shows up and rocks her to her core. Then they go on the run across Europe, trying to evade the omnipotent, Omnipresent organization. Their reach has no limit and no rules even to Caspian's home.
In the end, we are left with a few questions on whether this cast of characters will continue or in similar Gervais series, it ends as a trilogy. The door is left slightly ajar for it to have an offshoot in the same universe.
As usual, Gervais takes readers to glorious global locales with history and the culture of the areas. Excellent action writing and quick pacing.
I am a HUGE fan of the Elias books from Simon Gervais. I couldn't read the first fast enough and was thrilled to grab a copy of the second. So yes, you can say I've been eagerly awaiting this third installment. I'm sorry to say it fell much flatter for me than the first two. I'm not exactly sure what it was, but maybe since Caspian and his expertise weren't front and center? Anyways, I'm still a big fan and looking forward to the next one, as this one ends with "Elias" shifting elsewhere, so I'm interested to see where that goes!

Enter Caspian Anderson. Mild-mannered UN translator. ("The Elias Network" Book 1, 2024). He also happens to be a hitman, Codename "Elias", working for Onyx, a covert subagency buried within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Double deception. Caspian lives a quiet life in the city with his girlfriend, Liesel Bergmann. She believes he's just a boring translator. He, in turn, thinks that his German "freundin" is a senior accountant somewhere.
It is when Onyx sends Caspian to Zermatt, Switzerland to eliminate a banker tied to an international human trafficking ring, (a trail that leads back to high-level U.S. politicians), that Elias gets into an entanglement with an agent of the BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst), the German Federal Intelligence Service. Simon Gervais returns with the final book in the Simon Gervais trilogy, The Elias Conspiracy. This heart-pounding and action-packed espionage thriller also has aspects of political, action, and conspiracy thrillers. Former assassin and current agent for the Strategic Support Unit of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Defense Clandestine Service, Caspian Anderson and German spy and liaison to the agency, Liesel Bermann, are recovering in Mallorca, Spain from their last mission. However, their relaxation ends when Caspian witnesses an investigative journalist’s abduction.
As they investigate the abduction, the train leads them to a global humanitarian organization. While group initially appears to do excellent word, its façade conceals corruption that can change politics in multiple countries. As the investigation continues, more characters are pulled into the story including Liesel’s sister and Caspian’s brother. The stakes are high.
Caspian and Liesel work well together. He adapts to unforeseen situations quickly. Liesel is smart, fearless, and resourceful. The characterization didn’t have as much depth as I had hoped. However, the author did a great job of showing how the relationship dynamic between the two has evolved during the series.
The novel is mainly set in Europe in Mallorca and Valencia, Spain. However, there are scenes from Istanbul, New York City, Miami, Boston, Washington D.C., and Portland, Maine. The plot is multi-layered and complex with a narrative that is suspenseful and action-filled throughout. The author’s military and federal experiences are reflected in the well-crafted action scenes and the serious topics. His description of weapon handling, surveillance evasion, and the action scenes feel more grounded in realism than some scenes in action movies.
There is a strong sense of good versus evil throughout the novel. The story kept me engaged from the first chapter to its conclusion. The author does a great job of bringing together the various subplots into a cohesive tale. There are plenty of twists and a few surprises along the way. Gervais explores the different attitudes towards collateral damage of innocents during the book. He also brought the trilogy to a satisfying conclusion, but with the possibility of a spin-off series. Will that happen? Themes include assassins, espionage, global politics and stakes, covert missions, relationships, family, corruption, power, greed, murder, abduction, and more.
Overall, this book was suspenseful, riveting, fast-paced, and pulse-pounding. If you enjoy espionage, political, and action thrillers with a strong lead character, then this may be the series for you. The combination of an entertaining story line and lots of action makes this an intoxicating novel.
Thomas and Mercer and Simon Gervais provided a complimentary digital ARC of this novel via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own. The publication date is currently set for July 07, 2026. ------------------------------- My 4.37 rounded to 4 stars review is coming soon.
My introduction to the writing of Simon Gervais was just recently when I read and reviewed his work with author, Ryan Steck, “The Marked Son”. That is the second book in the Chase Burke series and is quite good. When I saw the audiobook of another Simon Gervais book was available, I jumped at it.
“The Elias Conspiracy” is the 3rd book in the Caspian Anderson series. Do you need to be familiar with the previous two entries to enjoy this book? I would say so. I’m glad I bought those audiobooks to catch up before diving into this one. There is a lot of history between different characters that you will want to catch up on. You can start with this one, but I think to be as emotionally involved in what happens in the book, you really need prior knowledge of the characters and situations.
Caspian Anderson is a killer known as Elias. Sure, he looks mild-mannered butSure;s can be deceiving. When we first meet him in “The Elias Network”, he is working for a deeply covert group inside the United States government. Caspian does have an issue he is working through. He is quite smitten with a German operative by the name of Liesel. Let’s just say, when two spies fall in love, there may be some trust issues. When we left off with the last novel, “The Elias Enigma”, Caspian had a bombshell dropped on he and Liesel. Sometimes people aren’t as dead as you thought they were. This novel deals with the ramifications of that revelation.
I enjoyed all three of the Elias novels. I didn’t feel like they were as gripping as the Chase Burke novels that Gervais co-authors. But they are still really good. This time we are left with a major cliffhanger that may completely change the direction of the series going forward. I’m definitely interested to see where Gervais takes Elias from here.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for providing an ARC for an unbiased review.
I would like to thank the author (Simon Gervais), his publisher (Thomas & Mercer), and the fine folks at NetGalley for the opportunity to read the third book in his Caspian Anderson series (with the first two, The Elias Network - released in 2024, and The Elias Enigma - released in 2025) and is scheduled to be released on 7 July 2026.
Caspian Anderson and his girlfriend, Liesel Bergmann, try to pull off a "Clark Kent/Superman"-esque duality of character as by day he works as a mild-mannered, average-statured translator for the United Nations living a quiet life in New York. However, his "alter-ego" is that of an assassin working for a highly classified black op program, codenamed ONYX, that was once part of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) but has since transitioned to Defense Clandestine Services (which I understand is part of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)).
Simon Gervais is one of those authors who has appeared on my TBR list, when he had written Robert Ludlum's The Blackbriar Genesis back in 2022 (but I had not yet had the opportunity to read any of his nineteen books). That said, this is my first venture into the "Gervais-verse" (and likely will not be my last).
The Elias Conspiracy by Simon Gervais is a high-octane international spy thriller that serves as the explosive third installment in the Caspian Anderson trilogy.
The Plot Set Up
Following a brutal mission in France, former government black-ops assassin Caspian Anderson (formerly code-named "Elias") is trying to enjoy a quiet vacation on the shores of Mallorca. He is recovering alongside his girlfriend and partner, German intelligence agent Liesel Bergmann. Their peace is violently shattered when an investigative journalist is abducted right before Caspian's eyes, pulling him straight back into the deadly world of espionage.
The Core Conspiracy
The investigation into the kidnapping quickly leads Caspian and Liesel across Europe. The trail centers on Hearts United, a powerful global humanitarian organization. While the foundation maintains a noble public image, its charitable facade hides a sinister network of money, power, and deep-seated corruption. Caspian discovers a plot orchestrated by a wealthy philanthropist and a highly determined mercenary assassin capable of destabilizing and reshaping whole nations.
High Stakes and Personal Danger
As Caspian and Liesel break down the conspiracy, the danger hits close to home. Loyalties break apart, allies vanish, and their own families are caught in the crosshairs—forcing Caspian's brother and Liesel's sister into the dangerous web of events. To stop the global threat and keep his loved ones safe, Caspian is forced to rely on his deadliest skills, turning the mission into a personal, high-speed duel.
As this is the first book that I have read by this author (and was not sure what to expect), I was really impressed with his writing style. That said, I would give this book a solid four stars on my vaunted five-star scale). Aficionados of political action thriller authors, such as Mathew Betley, Gregg Hurwitz, Jack Carr and Steven Konkoly, would quickly come to enjoy this series.
As with all my literary ramblings, this is just my five cents' worth.
Caspian Anderson, the ex-black-ops assassin known as Elias, and his girlfriend, German spy Liesel Bergmann, are back in the third installment, “The Elias Conspiracy” by Simon Gervais. A global race where the past and present come together in a fun thriller.
Caspian and Liesel are relaxing after their last adventures, trying to recuperate and get their relationship back on track. Unfortunately, nothing is ever easy for international agents. On his morning run, Caspian witnesses the kidnapping of an investigative journalist. Although he tries to intervene, he is unable to stop the abduction. Back at the hotel, Liesel gets an unexpected surprise: her sister is alive and wants to meet. Their reunion is short-lived as assassins try to prevent her from telling her story, resulting in the start of a chase across Europe to unravel the conspiracy behind Hearts United, a global humanitarian organization, and its founder, whose motives may not be as pure as his reputation seems to indicate.
An amoral, determined assassin. Friends and enemies from the previous books. Caspian’s good-hearted brother. And an explosive finale that changes the course of Elias and all that he holds dear.
A fine ending(?) to an action-packed trilogy, with well-developed characters and explosive sequences.
I requested and received a free advanced electronic copy from Thomas & Mercer via NetGalley. Thank you!
As usual Simson Gervais’ storyline is fantastic and absorbing and this one is as usual tension-filled and adrenaline fueled. This latest delivers a compelling story with lots of action, emotion and most of all intrigue. Lots in going on, so this tale demands our full attention from the very beginning through the excitement till we reach the surprising finish.
The story in a few words;
The abduction of an investigative journalist unravels an intricate conspiracy of corruption—both deadly and deeply personal.
My thoughts:
The top-notch characters make this story fantastic. The two main players Caspian and his German agent/girlfriend Liesel Bergman are well developed and complex.
When a journalist was abducted before their eyes, they were pulled into action and chased the truth across Europe, uncovering a network of corruption…As the pieces of the puzzle came together, more players entered the game, and the tension peaked…..This story is well-written and well done for our entertainment.
“The Elias Conspiracy”, is the 3rd book in the trilogy what a shame with it comes the end of excellent storyline. Maybe Mr. Gervais will reconsider and keep Caspian going…..
In a few words:
This story is suspenseful, riveting, fast-paced and pulse-pounding words reflecting many reviewers’ point of view.
My thanks to Thomas & Mercer as well as Netgalley for providing this ARC
This is the third book in the Caspian Anderson series and while I didn’t read the first two, I felt it was an okay standalone read. It’s a high speed thriller packed with lots of action for fans of this type of book.
Caspian Anderson, assassin for Onyx, a top secret governmental agency, with the code name Elias, has accepted a job with the Strategic Support Unit of the Defense Intelligence Agency. We meet Caspian on a yacht near Mallorca with his girlfriend, Liesel, on vacation. They get involved in a journalist’s abduction and uncover a global conspiracy. As the book progresses we meet some sketchy characters with colorful names and various femme fatales.
The book has short chapters filled with action which often end in a cliffhanger. Plot and action drive this book - not character. I think character is built through the course of the series, however, and this one seems to focus on Caspian and his relationship with Liesel. This is not necessarily a criticism as other series do this (I.e. Gabriel Allon, Cotton Malone, etc.). So I think I’d have liked the book more if I knew the character better - which why sometimes you need to start with book one.
If you like action, this book has plenty. Caspian is a fine character too. The author does a bang up job of making all his characters integral to the story.
I’d like to thank NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for allowing me access to this ARC.
This is a high action story about a former assassin and his girlfriend who keep getting pulled back into the murky world of shadow organizations and politically motivated killings. The story picks up shortly after the end of the last novel, The Elias Enigma, with Caspian trying to recover from the injuries sustained there. But his vacation with Liesel takes a turn when he witnesses a journalist known to him get kidnapped.
Caspian and Liesel are likable characters that you want to root for. While the identity of the villains are never in doubt, the motivations are plausible. There re exotic places and family homes, yachts and planes, things that are black and white and lots and lots of gray.
This is a solid conclusion to what appears to be the end of the Caspian Anderson adventures. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to lovers of action thrillers.
Not family friendly due to profanity and violence.
Thanks to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Caspian Anderson returns in The Elias Conspiracy by Simon Gervais. On vacation trying to recover from the events in the previous book Caspian is out running when he sees something suspicious, it looks like an abduction of a journalist he knows. He can't help himself, he needs to do something. This will leed to a really gutwrenching and dangerous decision for him and his closest. As always when it comes to this author you are hooked from the first chapter and then it's impossible to put the book down. He is one of my absolute favorite authors at the moment and he sure knows how to tell a story. The characters are fantastic and the plot is intriguing, the action scenes are really good and the bad guys are really bad. I do believe that I have read everything published by this author and all his books has been great fun reading. I can't recommend him enough. For those out there that still hasn't tried anything from Gervais you have many hours of fun ahead of you. I must also thank Thomas & Mercer and Netgalley for giving me an advance copy. The book will be available on the 7th of July.
Tension-filled and adrenaline-fueled, The Elias Conspiracy is a cinematic tale that demands your full attention from the enticing start through the explosive finish. Simon Gervais once again delivers a compelling story filled with action, emotion and intrigue. Adding another stellar edition to this superb trilogy.
As usual with a Simon Gervais thriller, the writing is fantastic, the storylines are absorbing, the action is intense and the character development is top notch.
Simon Gervais long ago moved into automatic must-read territory and The Elias Conspiracy only further cements his spot among the great storytellers in the thriller genre.
I was pleased for the opportunity to preview the final volume in the Caspian Anderson series, thanks to NetGalley.
The series has been an incredible journey from the start. In this installment, Caspian and his partner, Liesel, see their downtime in Mallorca interrupted when Caspian attempts to rescue a kidnapped journalist. As the plot unfolds, it reveals how the journalist's work ties back to a charity organization that is far more than it seems. As Caspian and Liesel unravel the mystery, it becomes clear that power in the hands of the uber-wealthy leads to absolute corruption, with dire consequences if their nefarious plot isn't stopped.
The book is enjoyable and fast-paced throughout. The conclusion certainly leaves the reader wondering if an Elias will rise again—a question only time and Simon Gervais can answer.
Thanks to @netgalley @simongervaisbooks & the publishers for the ARC
This is the 3rd book in the Elias series and whilst you don't have to have read the previous two, itwould certainly help, in order to follow the characters. It was fast paced and tense in some parts, yet in others, and little bit predictable but that said, it doesn't detract from the book. I liked the way there has been a natural progression with Caspian's character & that he isnt infallible, despite his skills and training. I did feel invested perhaps that latter thirsty of the book it was a little bit rushed, and could've had a bit more from it. I don't want to say more without giving anything aw
Another excellent entry in the Caspian Anderson series. I enjoyed this one as much as the previous two. Caspian is conflicted with the injuries in France and wants to, more than ever, protect Liesel. While relaxing in Spain, he sees an abduction and tries to intervene. This gets both him and Liesel involved in international affairs and threatens both them and family.
There is a lot of action in this novel and has all the elements to make it enjoyable. We see new sides to both Caspian and Liesel. The characters from the other novels are there and are utilized properly.
This was a very good novel and I enjoyed being able to read it.
Thanks to NetGalley for an early copy to read and review
4 stars The Elias Conspiracy is an interesting and exciting book replete with kidnapping and multiple murders. At times, it is difficult to tell who the “good” guys are and who the “bad” guys are. There is an enormous cast of characters and, sometimes, it is hard to remember who each is if the book is not read in a short period of time. The portions of the book that are devoted to family and life outside of the various government agencies is particularly appealing. I recommend this book to all who enjoy this genre and thank NetGalley and Thomas and Mercer for the opportunity to read and review this novel prior to publication.
Simon Gervais has done it again in his latest Elias Thriller. Caspian (aka Elias) and his girlfriend, German agent Liesel Bergmann are on vacation when Caspian sees an abduction (vacation is over). Let the island and country hopping begin in the chase of the baddies. Plenty of action, drama, and a crazy cast of characters. There is always that one rich elite(1%er) who thinks they can do whatever they please and not have to deal with the consequences(good or bad). The novel was hinging at 4-4.5 stars until the WTF surprise conclusion. I cannot wait for the next one. Thanks to Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley for this ARC and it will be available on July 7th.
Excellent addition to the series. Caspian and Liesel need some down time after all they've been through. But it isn't meant to be. A kidnapped reporter, a missing sister, a battle on the beach get the story up to speed in a hurry. A philanthropist, loved by the world, kills to keep his secrets, and Caspian is in his way. Great plot, great action, and great characters make this third book in the series well worth reading. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and the publisher and voluntarily provided an honest review.
The Elias Conspiracy is a fast-paced thriller that kept me engaged from beginning to end. The narrator did a wonderful job and added a lot to the listening experience.
At times, the story felt a little disjointed, and I occasionally found it difficult to follow everything that was happening. However, the ending was especially captivating and intriguing, leaving me eager to see what comes next.
Overall, this was an enjoyable listen with strong narration and an exciting finish.
I was blessed with an ALC. Thank you, NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own and unbiased.
Simon Gervais delivered another action packed Elias novel and I hope it's not the last. I've enjoyed these characters and hope that we get to see more of Caspian....and Elias, however that may be. The Elias Conspiracy moved quick and the action never stopped. I had to force myself to stop reading several times. Lots of twists along the way. Highly recommend!
Thanks to Net Galley and Thomas & Mercer for this ARC. #TheEliasConspiracy #NetGalley.
[ARC Review - digital copy from Brilliance Publishing & NetGalley]
One thing I liked about this book is that the mystery isn’t really about who the villain is. From very early on, you have a pretty good idea of who you’re dealing with. The real mystery is understanding the villain’s plan, how far they’re willing to go, and whether Elias can stop them before it’s too late.
I also really liked Elias as a main character. He’s calm, patient, and incredibly calculated. He doesn’t rush into situations or make impulsive decisions. He thinks several steps ahead, and it’s interesting to watch him piece everything together.
I did feel for his girlfriend, though. They were supposed to be on vacation, and somehow she gets pulled into a kidnapping investigation and everything that follows. While I understood why she was frustrated, I also understood why she couldn’t simply walk away from everything that was happening.
What surprised me most was the ending. Not because I didn’t know who the villain was, but because I didn’t expect everything to unravel the way it did. The villain seemed completely in control throughout the story, so when the cracks finally appeared, I genuinely didn’t see them coming. It caught me off guard in the best way.
Although the book ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, I actually didn’t mind it. It felt like a natural stopping point while still leaving the door open for another installment if the author chooses to continue the series.
Overall, I thought this was a solid thriller. It had strong pacing, a capable protagonist, plenty of tension, and enough twists to keep me invested. If you enjoy fast-paced action thrillers with intelligent protagonists and high-stakes conspiracies, I’d definitely recommend giving this series a try.
Caspian and Liesel are finally getting a vacation. In Mallorca. Why did the bad guys have to choose the same place to continue their dastardly deeds?? Excellent spy-like thriller with lots of action and globe trotting.
Really makes you think about how much we’re willing to accept good-for-people/the-world things if greed is also behind it.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Brilliance Audio for early access to the audiobook. These opinions are my own.
4.5 stars. Book #3 of the trilogy and its one heck of a tense action packed thriller. Fast moving, you can't help but keep the pages flying as spies Caspian, also known as "Elias", and girlfriend Liesel are chased and dodging assassins from Europe to the U.S.
Liesel has less page time in this book but she still plays an important role. Quite the intriguing surprise twist at the end left me wondering what could be next from this author. Can't wait to find out.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.
This is a fast paced spy thriller, just like the Bourne series. But unlike Bourne, they aren't alone. They work in teams and like Bourne they hop cities throughout the world shooting each other.
It has been quite some time since I read a spy thriller and I loved this! Finished it in under five hours!
