His rules were firm. No flirting. No touching. No crossing the line.
Too bad I made him break every one of them.
LENNON
I signed up for Professor Whitlock’s biology class to finish my degree, not to drool over the brooding, off-limits ex-military ranger behind the desk.
But after my humiliating breakup, I find myself spiraling, and staging a run-in with him.
He tells me to stay away. Then he kisses me like he’ll die without a taste.
Now he’s everywhere—on the trail, in my head, and between my thighs.
And when I test his patience? He punishes me with delicious cruelty that leaves me begging for more.
STORM
I live by rules for a reason—rules that keep people safe.
But Lennon Cross is temptation wrapped in tight jeans and defiant eyes. She’s my student. She’s off-limits.
She’s also reckless enough to try hiking the Pacific Crest Trail alone.
So I follow her into the woods.
And when she gets lost… I decide it’s time she learned what happens when you break my rules.

Ranger’s Rule is a forbidden professor/student romance
🔥 A possessive, ex-military ranger with a dark past 🔥 An inexperienced brat who learns how to behave 🔥 Kinky forest heat 🔥 A fast-burn, wild HEA you can devour in under 2 hours
No cliffhangers. No cheating. Just one dominant man, one disobedient student, and one hell of a study session.
Lennon and storm were another hit for me. I love these little steamy novellas they’re so easy to get through and the plot, drama and chemistry is never lost in the story.
✨Huge thank you to Bridget Adrienne and her team for sending me an ARC of Ranger’s Rule!✨
Okay, real talk—I was so excited for this one. I’ve loved the Untamed Rangers series up to this point: hot, dominant rangers? Insta-love chaos? Spicy wilderness action? Yes, please. But this one…didn’t quite deliver the same punch as its siblings.
The setup had promise: Lennon, the soft-hearted biology student with something to prove after a brutal breakup, crosses paths (and boundaries) with her grumpy professor, Storm Whitlock, who just so happens to moonlight as a park ranger. Cue the forbidden lust, possessive growling, and outdoorsy dominance. Which sounds great on paper. But even for an insta-love, this was fast.
The dynamic between Lennon and Storm leans hard into power exchange and humiliation (all clearly labeled in the author’s note—huge kudos for that). And while some scenes were definitely hot, others felt repetitive or tipped from edgy into uncomfortable, especially when it came to consent boundaries being flirted with (or outright bulldozed). There were moments when Storm’s possessiveness felt more performative than protective, and Lennon’s journey of empowerment—while hinted at—was overshadowed by the intensity of their scenes.
Where the other novellas in the series balanced spice with swoon or emotional growth, Ranger’s Rule kind of skipped the “falling” part of “falling in love.” The emotional payoff was rushed. I wanted to see more of Lennon finding her strength, more of Storm breaking through his own walls, and less of them exchanging orgasms as a form of communication.
That being said, the writing is solid, the pacing never drags, and fans of kink-heavy, ultra-steamy stories with taboo dynamics will still find something to enjoy here. It just didn’t quite reach the emotional or character depth I was hoping for compared to the other Untamed Rangers entries.
Never in my whole life have I ever wanted to be tied to a tree, during a thunderstorm, in the middle of the woods.... but then here comes Bridget Adrienne with her smutty Untamed Rangers novella, Rangers Rule, and well.... here we are.
I’ve been ARC’ing the Untamed Rangers series from the beginning and I wasn’t an insta-love girlie then, but she has made me one! Give me all the hot, fast, quick + dirty love stories. Like Little Caesars pizza.... hot + ready..... but so much better!
Storm + Lennon are literally my favorite characters out of the series. Her world literally crashes and she takes about 2.5 seconds to pity party before she’s like “fuck that dude. fuck this shit. and fuck you too if you doubt me.” and then she sets out to do shit, strictly out of spite, to prove to all the haters in her life that she is that bitch and has always been that bitch. and I related + vibed hard with her character.
Then there is storm. He’s possessive + protective; all dark, damaged, and delicious. And he’s the only one in her life to really see her for who she is. He lets her prove her haters wrong, but he helps her do it; but not before knocking her ex out of his hiking boots and giving her some very hands on lessons after class in his office.
If you haven’t touched this series, then you are missing tf out and that’s sad for you.

📚 Professor/Student 🔥 Age Gap 🪵 Forbidden Romance 🍑 Dominant Hero 💦 Angry, Kinky Makeup Sex 🚫 Rules Broken in All the Best Ways
Bridget Adrienne she will forever be the queen of writing filthy, foul-mouthed Rangers who fall hard. Her heroines: Fierce, Strong-willed, Badass and the mouths on these girls. Whew. The spice, does not disappoint and is Plentiful and unapologetically filthy. HOT.

I enjoyed this one but I wish Lennon had more of Lennon finding her strengths after everyone thought of her as a doll or glass, I wanted her to brave and show everyone she is capable. There were some aspects of the book but could use more . Also, more of Storm breaking through his own walls, and less of them exchanging sexual forms of communication.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Standalone • 73 pages • Age Gap • Professor/Student
Let me preface this with a disclaimer: this review is probably biased. It was impossible not to slap 5 stars on this. First of all, it’s a Ranger’s book by Bridget Adrienne — queen of writing filthy, foul-mouthed Rangers who fall hard. Her heroines? Fierce. Strong-willed. Badass. The spice? Plentiful and unapologetically filthy.
But then… THEN… she had to go and make it a professor/student romance. My absolute kryptonite. One of my all-time favorite tropes. Honestly, I could’ve given it 5 stars without even opening it because I knew it would be gold. But I devoured it anyway, and holy heck — I’ll be rereading this one again and again.
Too bad these Rangers only exist in fiction, because I would 100% risk detention, break every rule, and let Storm teach me a very hands-on lesson.
Lennon wants everyone to stop treating her as if she’s breakable. She’d rather be the one breaking the rules—and she knows exactly which one to bend until it snaps. Storm can’t get Lennon out of his mind, out of his class, or out of his park. Together, they learn that breaking the rules feels good… but consequences always follow. - Bridget Adrienne is so good at writing romances that burn hot and fast. She loves an age gap and isn’t afraid to let her characters get messy—in all the best ways. I always have a great time reading her books, though there’s usually one or two details that pull me out of the story. This one’s set in college, but it has high school bells and counselors calling parents. Still, the story itself is steamy and fun, and the bonus online chapter delivers an entertaining HEA.
Thank you to the author and BookFunnel for this eARC.
"Bridgett Adrienne has done it once again! This little novella packs one heck of a punch with the spice in just a few pages! The Ranger's series has become one of my favorites. I always look forward to reading the newest one, meeting the new characters, and learning somehting new within each book.
Rangers Rule follows Storm, a professor and park ranger, and Lennon, one of his students. When Lennon's boyfriend breaks up with her because she isn't 'good enough', she is determined to hike the PCT on her own. Storm sees her try to train and offers to help her. However, the two have a strong attraction towards one another and the hiking lessons soon turn into something more!
If you are looking for a short spicy book, this is one you should absolutley pick up!"
"Ranger's Rule" by Bridget Adrienne is pure perfection - deliciously steamy and utterly captivating. I devoured it in one sitting, and I'm pretty sure I forgot my name, but I remembered Storm aka Professor Whitlock's.This book has everything I love: age gap, dominant MMC, defiant FMC, forbidden romance, and instalove. It's like the author took all my guilty pleasure tropes, threw them in a blender, and hit puree. I'm here for it! The spice is impeccable, the banter is top-notch, and the MMC is absolutely swoon-worthy. Let's just say I'd gladly take any lesson Professor Whitlock would be willing to provide.
Looking for another dreamy Ranger? Storm Whitlock has got you covered! Not only is he a ranger, but he’s a veteran and a Science Professor too 👨🏫
After YEARS of keeping everything under control and under lock & key 🔐, Storm thinks his life is as it should be. This is until he sees/meets Lennon Cross.
Lennon Cross is a 21 year old student who has been told her entire life how “fragile” and “sensitive” she is and for the first time ever, she has found someone that sees the real her.
This book goes from 0 to 60 in seconds flat (as is Bridget’s speciality) and it’s beyond worth it.
Don’t forget to read the extended epilogue too for that last bit of spice 🌶️ we all crave! 🥵
I love reading these! Still trying to get myself out of my reading hiatus phase and whatever funk I fell into and these are exactly what I needed to pull me back in!
Lennon & Storm have that teacher-student forbidden love brewing. Of course it’s spicy and she’s just a fragile girl trying to prove herself and he’s basically mister badass. Love always comes with a price, but I’m glad to see that they chose their own path and end things together in a happy engagement. 🥲
These books are so short and fast paced to read but at the same time it doesn’t feel TOO rushed. That in itself takes talent! 😌

Fast, filthy, and forbidden—Ranger’s Rule is a dark professor/student novella packed with kinky wilderness heat and strict discipline. Storm is dominant, brooding, and off-limits. Lennon is bratty, reckless, and all too willing to break his rules.
This is a no-holds-barred, dub-con heavy read with intense power play and zero fluff. Not for everyone—but perfect if you like your romance fast, filthy, and a little dangerous.
⚠️ CW: Dub-con/NC themes.
I received a free ARC of this book and this review is only my opinion.
This one is now tied for my top spot with Rangers Temptation. Professor Storm Whitlock, well you're just absolutely perfect 😍 and Lennon is so fiery and defiant I loved her character arc in this short novella. I completely resonated with her and how she had been treated her whole life.
I'm also a sucker for the Professor x Student trope so that one got me here. The spice was fantastic! I felt the last couple weren't as spicy but this one picked it up 🥵
So glad I got to receive an ARC to review! 4.5/5 stars I love the plot in this book so much. Student/teacher, forbidden romance, spiceeeee, wilderness. It was so good. I think for me my only complaint is I wish this were a full novel because I want more details 😂 Another great novella by Bridget!! 👏🏻
I love these steamy novellas! I love that the drama doesn't stretch over 200 pages (when there is drama, haha)! I wish I saw more moments of them together, the evolution of feelings, Storm breaking down his walls, Lennon finding his strength. I love the fast pace of these books, but I would have liked one or two more chapters to really see the development!
Lennon and Storm have such amazing chemistry. he wants it to be strictly professional and just about him being her professor she wants more. she fights him at every turn and finally he cant hold back any longer. the spice between them is spicy. I love these short little untamed Rangers novellas! 😏 thank you so much for letting me arc read this!
Such a good read. The power this FMC finds to show others she isn’t weak is amazing. The professor must follow the rules… Lennon has other plans. lol love this book from the beginning. Such a fun/ sex read. Omg I blushed a few times.
Check the trigger warnings. If you like short, less than 90 pages, professor and college student books you will like this one. Storm and Lennon were great. The details and spice were amazing. I thought this book was great.
Finally a strong woman who knows her own mind. It felt like a relief to read about someone capable and strong enough to determine her own future without having a tantrum to get her own way. I'm truly impressed.
girlllllll you did it again! If you want a fast burn with a lot of spice these are your kinds of books. they are hot, quick reads that get right to the point.
I have loved this entire series so much! If you are looking for quick, SPICY novellas- look no further. We have alpha, dominant MMC vibes, some schminxs. I loved every second of this book!
Everyone treats Lennon like she's frail and useless. So when her hiker boyfriend leaves her for a more experienced, outdoorsy girl, Lennon decides that she's going to hike part of the PCT. By herself. That'll prove everyone wrong about her. Storm is a professor and ranger with plenty of rules that keep his life in tidy order. What will he do when Lennon fearlessly breaks every single one?
I love a little novella to get me through the day and this was no exception. The plot and emotion packed into this little dumpling kept me interested and rooting for the main characters. Storm is as hot as they come. If you've ever wondered, "What if Gibbs from NCIS was a park ranger/sexy professor?" then this book has the answers for you. And I loved Lennon's fierce attitude and brave nature. She was a full-blooded brat that made him work for everything. I love that she didn't give in easily. They're a great match for one another.
This story has some elements that would be...questionable in real life (to put it lightly), but when I let that go and just enjoyed it, it was great. Just don't think too hard about the lack of lube! Lennon is fine!😉
