A quiet bookseller. A reclusive writer. And one bookshop where the stories come to life. Literally.
Hazel Waters left behind her sensible city life to open a cozy bookshop in the quirky mountain town of Moonlight Springs. She expected quiet days filled with paperbacks and tea. What she didn’t expect? Books whispering, ink disappearing from the pages, and a rare folktale book vanishing without a trace.
Then Luke Hanes walks through her ruby-red door. Reclusive, infuriating, and far too charming for her peace of mind. Luke is a bestselling author hiding from a scandal—and himself. But he also might be the only person who can help her uncover what’s unraveling the town’s stories.
When reading aloud pulls them both into the actual world of a book, Hazel and Luke are forced to work together to find a way back.
With the town’s legends stirring and a forgotten magic awakening, Hazel must uncover what’s causing the stories to fade—before Moonlight Springs forgets its own history.
Thankfully, Hazel’s not alone. With the help of her fiercely loyal new friends—Maura, the antique shop owner with sharp intuition and stronger tea; Ivy, the warm-hearted baker who always knows when you need a slice of pie; and Verena, the innkeeper who just might know more than she lets on—Hazel is about to discover that some stories are meant to be lived, not just read.
Perfect for fans of cozy fantasy, small-town magic, and heartwarming friendships, The Enchanted Bookshop is a whimsical escape full of second chances, found family, and the power of believing in your own story.

Hi, I’m Lula—lover of soft magic, small towns, and stories where the heart always finds its way home. I write cozy fantasy for women who crave a little wonder, a little warmth, and just enough enchantment to make you believe in the impossible again.
My books are filled with gentle magic, old secrets, and strong, heartfelt characters—often with a cup of tea in hand and a second chance just around the bend.
The Moonlight Springs series is my love letter to magical places that feel like home. If you enjoy women’s fiction with a touch of romance and a sprinkle of everyday magic, you’re in the right place.
The saga continues with the ruby stone's awakening, Hazel opens her bookstore and strange things start happening, books disappear, parts of books start facind.
A great book filled with magic, bad weather and suspense! Very enjoyable with great characters.

Enchanted Bookshop is the third title in the Moonlight Springs series, bringing us Hazel’s and Luke’s unexpected romance, while the next stone awakens.
Enchanted Bookshop felt… gentle. More gentle than the previous books. I really can’t describe it better, and I’ve sat here for a bit trying to. The story is intense, and the danger is definitely there as our resident villain once again tries to bend this town to his greedy vision. Yet, the story felt gentler, softer, in a good way, a comforting way… but that didn’t mean there wasn’t a mystery to be solved, magic to encounter, or two lost souls finding each other and their purpose together, as well.
If you enjoy a well-written, engaging, cozy, magical mystery with a touch of romance and possibilities, then you’d feel right at home with Enchanted Bookshop by Lula Ward.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
This series was just what I was looking for. It has been warm, romantic, mysterious, fun. No sex scenes you grandchildren couldn't read. No politics. Love the way you wove the magic into the tales. Starting Book 4. Can't wait.
