They call me Satan’s Baby, the rebellious bassist of the world’s most notorious all-female rock band. On stage, I own every inch of the spotlight. Off stage? I’m falling apart. The modeling world says my body isn’t enough. My family depends on me for every little thing. And now… someone is watching me. Roses. Notes. Messages. Someone knows everything. Where I sleep, how I dream, and what haunts me. I didn’t ask for protection, but I got him anyway. Dallas Carter: the man with fire in his eyes and secrets written across his skin. He terrifies me—and I think I want him to.
DALLAS
Ivory Aslan is chaos in pink—loud, lethal, and untouchable. I should keep my distance. I run a security empire, not a babysitting service. But the second I read that first note left on her pillow, I knew I’d burn the world down to keep her safe. I’ve seen obsession. I’ve lived inside it. And now someone’s stalking her with the same hunger I’ve tried to bury.
From a young age, A.M. has always had an extremely overactive imagination and was often called out by teachers in both elementary and high school for daydreaming about stories she created in her head that never exactly met paper. Once in college, studying Business Management with a Concentration in Marketing, she finally decided to put her fears behind her and write her first book. She wrote it in three months and immediately began writing the second book once the first was complete. She dreams of writing more of the stories that she comes up with when the real world becomes too dull. When she isn’t writing or reading, her hobbies include studying to get a master’s degree, spending quality time with friends, binge watching Tik Tok, or spending way too much money online shopping. At the age of nineteen, she quickly decided that the typical “college” life of partying and drinking wasn’t for her, though it took a lot of partying and drinking to discover that, and she soon replaced the bottles with books while those around her continued in their paths. Now, she is hellbent on writing. Always writing.
The third in the Satans Angels series. I absolutely loved this one !! It had suspense, dealing with body image issues , stalker vibes and family drama.
This story involved Ivory the little pink loving bass player who also models . While juggling a model career and being a rock start , she find herself being stalked. Her manager hires body guard to protect her and get to the bottom of who it is
Dallas was more than happy to bodyguard as he secretly has been in love with Ivory for months !!
“The Burdens We Share” is a fast-paced, emotionally charged romance that blends suspense, steamy chemistry, and complex characters with a rockstar twist. I was immediately drawn in by the author’s engaging writing style—it’s the kind of book you can devour in a single sitting.
The story explores some heavy themes—addiction, eating disorders, and trauma—but does so with care and sensitivity. While these topics could be triggering for some, I appreciated how thoughtfully they were handled. The women in this book, especially the protagonist, Ivory, are portrayed as strong, independent, and resilient, which added depth and power to the narrative.
The romance between Ivory and Dallas sizzles. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the “forced proximity” and “he falls first” tropes are executed perfectly. Dallas as the protective bodyguard and Ivory as the fierce rockstar made for a dynamic and compelling pairing.
That said, a few things pulled me out of the story. Dallas’s intense obsession with Ivory felt a bit over the top at times—especially considering the stalker subplot. It was surprising that Ivory didn’t question his behavior more, given her circumstances. Also, while the plot kept me guessing, there were a lot of threads introduced that didn’t get the depth they deserved.
Still, this was a gripping, spicy read with memorable characters and a unique premise. If you enjoy bodyguard romances with emotional stakes and a bit of mystery, this one’s worth picking up.
What a pleasant surprise! “The Burdens We Share” caught me completely off guard with its compelling blend of romance and suspense. This isn’t your typical love story - A.M. Ditota skillfully weaves thriller elements throughout, creating a page-turner that kept me guessing until the end.
The characters are the real strength of this novel. Each one is emotionally complex and fully realized, delivering powerful performances that never feel forced or overdone. Their struggles and connections feel genuine, making you deeply invested in their outcomes.
While there’s quite a bit happening plot-wise, Ditota demonstrates impressive skill in managing multiple storylines without losing focus. Every thread feels purposeful, and the author expertly brings all the elements together for a satisfying conclusion. The pacing keeps you engaged throughout, balancing the romantic tension with moments of genuine suspense.
This is definitely a must-read for anyone who enjoys romance with an edge. Don’t let the love story fool you - there’s plenty here to keep thriller fans engaged too.
I’ve loved the first two books in the Satan’s Angel trilogy and the finale, The Burdens We Share, is no different. This is a fast-paced, emotionally charged romance that perfectly blends suspense, steamy chemistry, and complex characters with a rockstar twist. The story tackles some heavy themes including addiction, eating disorders, and trauma. As an eating disorder dietitian, I can be very critical of how these topics are portrayed in media and AM Ditota handled them thoughtfully and realistically.
I adore Ivory’s pink, effervescent personality and the opposites attract dynamic she has with Dallas. Their chemistry is absolutely sizzling and I always love a good bodyguard romance. Make that bodyguard a billionaire and I am like girl yes please. The only minor drawback is that it felt a little over the top at times, but honestly that is part of the fun.
Overall, The Burdens We Share is a heart-pounding, steamy, and emotionally raw finale that delivers everything I loved about this series and leaves me already missing these unforgettable characters.
This book was great - it followed dual POVs of Ivory - a member of a band called Satan's Angels, and Dallas - a member of a Security firm.
I loved how fiery Ivory was - took no crap from anyone, and how overprotective Dallas was ! 👀
The stalker storyline kept me hooked and it was fascinating to see how it would conclude 👀 I felt that the story moved on quite quickly from things and we're kind of brushed to the side with barely any further explanation - but were briefly mentioned in the epilogue.
This book was filled with action, without giving too much away, but I LOVED how all the action and drama brought Dallas and Ivory together, he was so overprotective and love when a character is portrayed that way ! 👀
thank you to A. M. DiTota for providing me with an eARC for an honest review ! Definitely check out this series ! I honestly haven't read the other books in the series but I definitely will be ! ✨
Ivory is one third of a successful girl rock group. When she starts finding notes from a stalker, she reluctantly has to lean to the protection of the mysterious Dallas Carter. When feelings grow, will they lean on each other or fall apart?
I really, really enjoyed this one! It’s the final book of a three book series-each one focusing on a different girl from the band. This one was definitely my favorite but they are all good.
Dallas. Carter. Wow! I need my own possessive, protective MAN like him. The words this man would say. I loved his devotion to Ivory and how he worked to improve her life. The spice was nice but I neeeeeeded more.
Unfortunately these girls have a habit of attracting trouble so there was lots of action in the story as well. The found family aspect is so great and this one really brought it all together. We get a flash forward to the future and it wrapped up the series nicely. Five stars! ⭐️
4.25⭐️ Wow! I feel like I say this everytime I read a book in the Satan’s Angels trilogy but this one really blew me away. I absolutely loved it, I read it in two sittings because I could not put it down. I love the way that DiTota writes such real and raw characters, it’s truly refreshing to read about. I adored the characters in this one, the found family and just the love that they all had for each other. I felt myself relating quite a bit to our FMC, Ivory, which made me feel everything in this book so much more. I think Dallas might be my favourite book boyfriend in this series, although it’s very very difficult to choose. The ending of this one really made me emotional, it’s so nice to see how far the characters have come since the beginning of the series. The epilogue was a perfect ending to an amazing series! I definitely recommend.
Fast paced Protective Body guard x rockstar Emotionally charged romance He falls first Forced proximity
What a great story it was a bit more intense and dark or than I expected and I love that! Dallas was such a mystery, finding out his past was heartbreaking and for his father to blame him and cut tires, pissed and sad for those. And then to find the same person that hurt him is after ivory! Love seeing them grow closer to each other through the drama and action falling for each other in the process. Dallas was so overprotective I loved it, because if someone I cared about was getting st@lked by someone who hurt me, I would have lost it! Some things were brushed side quickly at the end, but didn’t take away from me enjoying this read! Thank you a.M.ditota for providing this EARC in exchange from my honest review and opinion I will definitely be checking out the other books in this series!
This book is the third in the Satans Angels series! I absolutely loved it!! It is the first I had the pleasure of reading in this series and it goes really well by itself! It had suspense, drama, stalker vibes and touch her and die and I’ll burn the world down for her. This story follows the journey of Ivory, the bassist who loves everything pink and is also a model. Whilst juggling the busy, hectic life she has, she finds herself being stalked. Her manager hires her a bodyguard to get to the bottom of it all and protect her! In comes Dallas.. he is more than happy to take the job as he has been in love with her for a very long time.. Everything about this book was perfect. Their relationship, the way he would burn the world down for her, the ending.. I NEED to read the rest of this series!
I really enjoyed the finale of this series. The author did a great job of tying everything up at the end with looking into the future of all three of Satan's Angels.
I did not like how it went from 4 months later and then to the epilogue of 8 years later. I think that I would have rated it 5 stars if I got to be a part of the engagement of Ivory Aslan and Dallas. It went from the climax to boom - 4 months later and we are at the movie release and there is a mention of the rock on her finger.
I did love the forced proximity and the tension between the two characters. With Ivory having a stalker, I felt like there should have been more impact/struggle between finding out that Dallas had a whole file about her. Especially with how he acted like he did not know her. There should have been more growth for Dallas and his story.
I freaking lovedddd this one, don’t get me wrong the first & second book were good. BUTTTT this one was intense & dark. Like I never would’ve guessed that the same person who haunted Carter would be the same person after Ivory. I’m not a fan of pink, but Ivory Aslan has become one of my fave characters. I honestly related with her on the food thing, I definitely knew that struggle. Carter was a mystery then finding out his story it was sad and I was soo freaking pissed for him, & then to find out that his father blamed him and cut ties with him is crazzzyyyy.
A.M. Ditota really out did herself with Ivory & Carters story👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Oh, you’re going to love this this book is such a ride! Ivory is totally badass rockstar vibes, chaos everywhere, and yet you can see she’s juggling way more than anyone realizes. And then there’s Dallas, all broody, intense, and ridiculously protective, which just cranks the tension up even higher. Their chemistry? 🔥 Off the charts.
It’s a crazy mix of romance, suspense, and danger, with moments that make you swoon and others that have you biting your nails. The story just pulls you in you’ll be hooked from page one and probably won’t want to put it down. Honestly, it’s messy, sexy, and exciting in all the best ways.
The burdens we share explores a lot of heavy topics so make sure you read your triggers before jumping in. I feel like I’m always saying the same thing in reviews but I loved this book. This is book 3 in the satans angels series. Am has never disappointed and I’m so thankful for having the opportunity to read her books. Ivory and Dallas story had everything you could want “forced proximity” and “he falls first”. If you enjoy these tropes and bodyguard romances I would definitely recommend you pick this up! This story was perfect for being the ending of this series❤️
"The Burdens We Share" is the third book in a series of interconnected standalones. I absolutely loved Ivory and Dallas's story!! She is a famous bassist and model and he is the bodyguard that is protecting her from her stalker. This book gives us a grumpy and protective MMC with a rockstar FMC, where he falls first, with some forced proximity, and spice. Would 100% recommend if you're looking for a fast-paced romance that makes you not want to put the book down!!
TW: this book also covers topics of ED, trauma, grief, and violence (not between the main character).
Chapters were a little long for my liking but the story took off quickly which I like. I knew instantly I would like Dallas as the MMC. I took to liking Ivory quickly. I was worried she would be too girlie or fragile for my liking but she proved to be stronger than I first gave her credit for. Truly enjoyed this book.
This was a good spice of a read. The characters were full, complex, emotionally charged and satisfying to read. The fun, the plot, the spice and all was just a great combination. I definitely enjoyed it.
it was good kept me hooked. loved how it was a love story mixed in with a thriller. the mentions of horror movies and final girls was the cherry on top.
