Once the shadows of magic enter a mortal’s life, they never really leave. Alex learned that from the moment he met Rachel and Lorelei, but he fell for them anyway. Months later, Alex copes with supernatural chaos by grounding himself in ordinary things and daily life. Most days, he’s even happy.
That steady anchor comes loose with a call from a sister he didn’t know he had in Las Vegas, searching for the father he hasn’t seen in a decade. Scheming demons and a growing online cult quickly complicate the family reunion Alex never wanted. Yet the greatest threat may come from Heaven itself—and an angel’s judgment over Rachel and Lorelei.

This book had it all. It’s an exciting tale with plenty of sexy shenanigans, but it builds to a crescendo that shakes worlds. Even when I thought I knew where it was going, the ending still left me stunned. The best installment of this series yet. And beneath the fun, the humor, the romance, and Rachel being Rachel, there was a deep and meaningful exploration of what redemption means.
Alternate universe, magic, fantasy, polyamory, family drama, action, adult situations
Rachel, and Lorelei help Alex with surprise discoveries, and naturally, things spin out of control, with the three doing their best with damage control. Excellent editing. Love the series. Enjoyed.
And for what it's worth, Coasties rock! Semper paratis.
I was so happy when i came across the latest book in this series. This is so much fun, i do wish the author would include a recap section in the beginning to help getting back into the story now that we are at book 5 and given the time between books.
LOVE Kenneth the Blood Orca. Need more scenes with that dickish whale. And it's about time we got another novel Installment of GI and the original characters
So good, it had been a while since I last enjoyed the adventures of Alex and his friends but it was even better for the anticipation, highly recomended
