Thomas Julian Edwards was the CEO of a fortune 500 company, that dealt with Mergers and Acquisitions. Often regarded as a hell on wheels kinds of guy. Although he was a brutally honest and shrewd businessman, he was completely different at home. After hours he was a loving husband who loved to cook and read by the fire. Although the same couldn’t be said for his wife of 16 years. Corina was a bitch on wheels. She often was rude and inconsiderate. Much to the protest of his best friend Richard. During a meet and greet with the new employees of a company the boss, Michael Flannigan, had acquired, Thomas was told to have a small dinner party at his home. Thomas reluctantly agreed because he knew his horrible wife, Cornina, would make a scene and make the party about herself. Although Richard didn’t show up alone. He had a date. Richard was quite taken with her, then again who wouldn’t be. Richard introduced Dinorah to Thomas, and he became intrigued at the site of this beautiful creature on the arm of his best friend. After a rambunctious alcohol filed night at the party, Dinorah found herself and Richard a little tipsy. Thomas insisted they stay the night. In the middle of the night, Thomas found himself unable to sleep. After heading downstairs for a cup of tea, he hears an unexpected sound. He looks around the corner to see Dinorah. After a conversation and quality time together, the attraction became intense. Weeks passed and the merger was completed. Richard and Dinorah, kept dating. Richard entered the office of Thomas and told him he needed his signature on the final documents and invited him to a celebratory dinner at his house. Thomas declined but Richard knew that Thomas's wife, Corina would be out of town on business and Richard guilted Thomas into it. Thomas shows and there is no Richard, only Dinorah, making it for an awkward night. Dinorah and Thomas wait for two hours on Richard and he comes stumbling into the house dead drunk. He apologizes and passes out on the floor. Thomas puts him to bed and takes an upset Dinorah home. She begins to tell Thomas how much she likes Richard and cares for him, but she can't do this anymore. He often chooses to drink with his buddies versus spending time with her and this has happened more times than she can count. After calming her down, Dinorah finds herself in Thomas comforting arms. Somehow something always pushed them together. The inevitable happens between them and they drift peacefully into a deep sleep in one another's arms. In the wee hours of the morning, Richard found his way in and began staring at the sleeping couple. What will happen? Will Richard discover the secret affair between his best friend and his girl? Will Thomas hide or be truthful or will he take the low road and fire his best friend to get him out of the way? Read on to find out the exciting conclusion.
