“Neville may eventually be recognized as one of the world's great mystics.” —Joseph Murphy, author of The Power of Your Subconscious Mind “Neville may be the positive-thinking movement’s most radical and subtly influential voice.” —Mitch Horowitz, Time.com “Of all the metaphysical systems with which I am acquainted, Neville’s is the most magical.” —Israel Regardie
‘Imagination Creates Reality’ by Neville Goddard is a transformative guide to the power of the human imagination, first published in the mid-20th century. In this concise yet profound work, Goddard presents the idea that imagination is not merely a mental tool but the creative force that shapes reality itself. Drawing from spiritual principles and biblical references, Goddard teaches that by vividly imagining and emotionally experiencing a desired outcome, individuals can bring it into existence. The key, he asserts, lies in assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled and living in the state of that fulfilled desire. Written in a clear, passionate, and poetic style, the book challenges readers to recognize their own divine creative potential and take responsibility for the realities they manifest. Whether seeking personal growth, success, or inner peace, Goddard’s message offers a timeless and empowering perspective. Imagination Creates Reality remains a cornerstone in the realm of metaphysical and self-development literature, continuing to inspire those who believe in the power of thought and the boundless possibilities of human consciousness.
Neville Goddard was a writer, speaker and mystic. He taught various self-help methods for testing his own claim that the human imagination is omnificent, therefore God. He achieved popularity by reinterpreting the Bible and the poetry of William Blake.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and really enjoyed it, it was only 1 hour so was easy and quick to listen to. ‘Creation is complete so all reality’s that are imagined can be created’. This book talks about imagination and visualisation in creating your future. Pretty much all about the law attraction.
I believe in this concept & enjoyed reading the material. My problem is I can't help but imagine horrible things happening so then I am scared to imagine anything at all! My mind always goes to the dark side no matter what my intentions are when I begin to envision life's possibilities. Why is that?
Listened to the audiobook version, which was a great bedtime story gn. Nice and short with examples of reality created through imagination. Will use it going forward
Easy read. Good reminder that everything starts with imagination. Touches topics of positive self-talk and positive thinking. Introduced interesting idea of going back and "rewrite" the bad conversations/things that happen you as positive experiences. It correlates with new age idea of "what story do we tell ourselves". The book touch religious aspects; in newer self-help books God is replaced with infinite energy. I would say this book is pretty much a summary of the self-help books on market right now in short stories without much fluff.
Neville Goddard preaches on how imagination can creates the real world. You have to assimilate the food and if you can't consume it, you have to expel it. You are what you discovered in your imagination. We are the cause, don't excuse yourself for it and it all manifested based on yourself.
Wow this really inspired me to keep imagining. I know this is true as I had imagined walking across the stage for graduation and having my name called long before I ever had the money to finish college and had no idea how I would finish and it became reality. It doesn't always happen right away but it eventually will.
I've had plenty of experiences in my life where I have imagined something and it came true. It's all in the power of our thoughts and our belief that we deserve what we imagine our reality to look like.
Do you believe that you can have everything you've ever wanted? That's it's actually in fact already yours? I believe deep down that I do.
I think most people could do with some un-learning... especially when it comes to Biblical teachings. We are each of us responsible for our lives and the things that happen.
Interesting read. Confirmed certain things for me that I self-doubted about. Imagination is conception. Every desire imagined is possible to be realised
