A doctor’s oath: Do no harm.

But what happens if the healers become killers?

In this 4-book box set:

1. NIGHT VISIT
Dr. Harriet Sutherland’s quiet New Year’s Eve is shattered when she is called out to attend a dying patient in the dead of night. The harsh winter air and a sense of foreboding greet her as she arrives to find a family in turmoil. As the patient’s condition worsens, he reveals a chilling family secret — one that will haunt Harriet long after his death.

2. A FATAL CUT
A body is found in the undergrowth of a Birmingham hospital, wrapped in a clinical waste bag and wearing only a garish Disney tie. A scar on his groin suggests he was a recent patient — until pathologist Karys Harper uncovers a chilling truth: the surgery was performed after his death. And the ‘surgeon’ isn’t done yet.

3. DYING FOR PERFECTION
Emily Dove, a nurse with the face of an angel, attracts the attention of many — among them, Peter Milar. What begins as admiration soon turns into obsession. He craves her life, her perfection. But when Emily does something that disappoints him, his fixation turns deadly. In his mind, she has betrayed him — and now, she must be destroyed.

4. THE CERTIFICATE
‘Plain’ Jane Ziegler has been a district nurse all her life — always overlooked. Until she discovers a way to commit the perfect murder. And she has the perfect victim in mind. Their death goes unnoticed, until a formal complaint sets off a chain reaction. Jane has a deadly secret, and she’ll do anything to keep it hidden.

This is not quite a 4 star set, but more than a 3. A strange little mix of stories that are worth reading
