Steph

I’ve never been your typical girl. I didn’t grow up in a warm fuzzy family, and emotions weren’t something I needed now. Love has never been something I could wrap my mind around, so why bother? I know what I’m good at. I’m a great friend, have a passion for healing others, and a way with horses. I can be all those things at the same time without ever discussing my own feelings.
Until him.

Lawrence

I’ve always been told I have a way with words. It’s one reason I manage the family business so well. I can wine and dine with the best of them, selling bloodlines and high-priced stallion services over a five-course dinner. I’m able to talk myself into or out of just about anything and anyone.
Until her.

****

Young and carefree, living worlds apart, they indulged in what seemed like the perfect fling.

Until Lawrence decided he wanted more.

Until Steph’s careful world fell apart.

Until they had to decide if love was worth the fight.

Loved this one! This was my first book by this author and will be looking for more.

Steph doesn't believe in love or relationships. Her parents were both shitty ones and she defiantly doesn't want to end up like them. She doesn't want to talk about her feelings with a guy or a girl for that matter. So imagine her surprise when she wakes up next to Lawrence after a night of heavy drinking again. The man she had a great night with a few months ago after her best friends party. A man she has a hard time not wanting to get naked so they can do dirty things to each other.

Lawrence can't stop thinking about the sexy, feisty, independent, sassy Steph. The girl that doesn't do relationships. The girl that has fuck buddies. How is he going to get through to her because he wants her all to himself.

These two cracked me up many many times! I loved them both! Lawrence was sexy and sweet and he made me swoon through the whole book! Love me a sweet and sexy cowboy!! I loved that he called her queenie! Lol

“What it means is that you shouldn’t get stuck in a rut. You gotta read the menu, queenie. Try new things.” “So you’re saying I should keep my eyes open for better options?” He shook his head. “I’m saying I’ve been on the menu this whole time. You just needed to order me up.”~Lawrence

“I thought you were making me breakfast.” “Yes, but not in bed or we’ll never eat actual food. As much as I wish, I can’t actually live off eating you.”~Lawrence

I loved that they both worked with horses. It was something different to read about for a change. Steph did therapy with them and Lawrence's family was into race horses and breeding.

I loved that Steph was the one unsure of her feelings and Lawrence was the one that knew what he wanted. The chemistry between them was smoking hot. Whew! I really liked Lawrence's family! They were awesome and hope there are books about all his sisters.

I felt this was light on the drama. It was funny. It was medium on the steam. I never wanted to put it down once I started so IMO that's a huge plus! Loved the epilogue! So over all I really loved this one and I hope you do to:))

I loved Shiver by CM Foss and was excited yet a little nervous about
Steph and Lawrence's story. I adore this authors writing style in the
way that she brings out so many emotions but still manages to keep a
lighter feel to her story. She captivates and keeps me engaged. I loved
Lawrence so very much. I wanted to shake Steph so hard and scream at her
to wake the heck up and grab hold of this swoonworthy sexy loving man.
But Steph had a lot of growing to do and she was very lucky this
wonderful man didn't fall for anyone else during her time she needed. He
did date but it wasn't serious and completely floored me and stole my
heart with how he jumped in with no condemnation or blame once Steph got
her crap together. Once they became this amazing team nothing was
holding them back from taking the world and making every dream they had
come true. One sweet and at times roller coaster ride story that I'm
glad I took a risk on. Now I want Jaces story and I want him to be an
alpha who goes after what he wants.. go write lady.

**sighs** Lawrence. How I love Lawrence.
Shiver was such a great read and CM Foss really stepped it up with Swoon. The banter between Lawrence and Steph was so funny and spot on. And although I wanted to bust Steph's knee caps a few times, Lawrence eventually got what he wanted.
This was a great read and I would highly recommend it. I do hope to read a story about Lawrence's sister someday!!

Lawrence and Steph have a one night stand. Both feel the connection. However, Steph makes it clear. It is NEVER happening again. They remain friends and have a budding platonic friendship.
Until feelings start to re-surface.
Steph is afraid of taking chances on life, on love.
Lawrence believes in embracing it, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
She refuses to accept love.
He willingly gives it.
will they take a chance on love?

Steph is a selfless, witty, funny character who you can’t help but connect with straight away. She is beautiful inside and out. Anything she does, always benefits others. She looks after everyone but herself. She comes across as quite confident and she is, However, certain circumstances and parents who have never provided her with the love she deserves, causes insecurities to rear it’s ugly head at times. Building walls up, especially when it comes one thing.
A relationship.
Love.

Lawrence is a simple man. He knows what he wants and he’s not afraid to let it be known. He’s a family man, he’s funny, sexy and even a little cocky. When it comes to a relationship with Steph, he wants all in or nothing and he leaves that decision with her, he wants her to be all in too. He leaves it in her corner to decide if they’re going to have a relationship and start their journey together.

“So,” he continued. “That’s how I feel. That’s what I’ve figured out. I want you, specifically, because you’ve infiltrated my mind, my body, my fucking soul. You’re smart, and you’re strong, compassionate, driven, and hot as fuck. The question I need to ask is… why are you here? why are you here right now?”

Everything is heightened between these two when they’re together, you can feel the sexual sizzle between them! The banter between them is flirty, easy and fun. They have that kind of chemistry that you would assume they are actually together and so in love. Their chemistry and that spark between them is palpable from the beginning and you can’t help but root for these characters.

It’s really a story from friends to lovers – C.M. Foss’ writing is perfect at pulling the reader right in, from the very start. This was one of the few books that I have read without checking where I am in the book, what chapter I’m on, I really got lost in Steph’s and Lawrence’s story, It had me laughing, smiling and definitely swooning.

‘As I flipped on the television, my phone pinged again. This time it was Lawrence checking on me. I took a picture of my wine and sent it on. Thus began an hour-long text war that had me laughing, my eyes glued to my phone and with no idea what was playing on the TV’

I felt like this was a mature story- I felt it hadn’t got that over-done drama and angst (don’t get me wrong I love those kind of books, they are usually the ones I read), and it really didn’t need it. Yes it was mature but make no mistake this book was the perfect combination of fun, sexy, heart warming, hot and even emotional at times. Because it hadn’t got all the heightened drama, angst and grit it felt mature for me, but C.M. Foss knows how to create fascinating characters that grabs and holds your attention until that very last word. It was the perfect mix between sweet and sexy! Those sweet moments that would make your heart melt and hot sizzling moments that will make you blush!
I really didn’t want it to end, although it did end perfectly, for me. This was my first book of C.M. Foss and I cannot wait to see what’s next! :-)

An ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Squeeeeee!!!! I have been waiting on Lawrence and Steph's story ever since I read Shiver, which I loved. And I have to say CM Foss really blew me away with this one! Even though this can be read as a standalone, I really encourage you to read Shiver first to get to know the characters. And it's an awesome story that you will definitely enjoy!

Now on to Lawrence and Steph.... Lawrence is sooo swoon worthy! There's a definite sweetheart underneath all that dirty talking! There were a few times I wanted to hit Steph over the head, but I still really enjoyed her character! They were just perfect for each other.

CM Foss is fast becoming one of my favorite authors! Her writing is fantastic. She adds so much emotion and depth into her characters, that you can't help but to feel what they feel. I will definitely read anything she writes because her books are just that amazing! I most definitely recommend this book, along with Shiver! Fantastic series! 5+++ stars!

Finally, I get the rest of Steph and Lawrence's story!!! I was so happy after I read Shiver, and saw that these two would get to play out for us too. Their chemistry is phenomenal, and even though you know that they both try to convey the playboy role, you know that there was something that connected them too. What starts as a quirky, yet playful friendship, soon turns into heat and lust- and something that they cannot turn away from.
I do hate that they wasted so much time fighting their feelings for each other, but was oh so happy when it became too much to ignore.
Add into the mix, lots of Lissa and Ethan- and Swoon made me one happy gal!! Now, I'm hoping that C.M. might wanna put something out about Tessa and Jace- 'cause we all know there's a great story there!!

A hot, cocky cowboy with a heart of gold and a dirty mouth… Swoon is right!! This is the second book I have read by C.M. Foss and I enjoyed it even more than the first!

What was a one night stand turned into so much more, but not without a lot of fights, regrets, and moments full of sexual tension. Steph doesn’t do relationships. They are high maintenance and full of drama. She would much rather not deal with that.

“Lord knows the man loves the F words. Fuck. Obviously. Family. Of course. Future. Sigh. Feelings. Unfortunately.”

But one night with Lawrence, and she can’t forget it. The two try the friend route and after years of hot and cold, they finally come together in a perfect combination.

“I fell for you years ago, and I’ve never really gotten back up.”

This story was amazing and I couldn’t put it down. It made me laugh. Both Steph and Lawrence were hilarious.

“Why are you being such an asshole? I don’t understand. You weren’t even this big of a dick yesterday. Did you grow into a bigger one overnight?” I widened my eyes. “Is it like morning wood?”

It was steamy – that fence scene, holy hell! It was full of hope, love, emotion, and overcoming obstacles. I loved how much we got to see of Lissa and Ethan from Shiver as well; that epilogue was perfection!

I look forward to many more books from C.M. as I love her writing style. She writes with emotion, yet it’s light and upbeat. It makes you feel like part of the gang. ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars

Oh, Lawry! How quickly you made me forget my other book boyfriends. You, with your sweet, sensitive nature and your quick wit. You, with your willingness to look like a complete goon in front of the world. You, with your sinful tongue and dirty, dirty mind. I was powerless to resist you.

We first met Steph and Lawry in Shiver, and while we got little glimpses of how their lives stayed intertwined in that book, Swoon tells their full story, sticking to essentially the same timeline as Shiver. I really enjoyed that about this book. It’s not necessary to have read Shiver to read Swoon, but it was worth it to see the different perspective on the characters in each book.

I really liked this book. It took me a while to feel really invested in the relationship between Lawry and Steph, but I think that’s because it took them a while to feel invested in themselves. Once things finally came together for them, I was all in and enjoyed every single thing about this couple.

They have a playful, sweet relationship. And Lawry brings the steam in spades. See above re: sinful tongue. I think that was one of my favorite things about the book. Lawry is written as a handsome, affable, good natured goof, but that boy is d-i-r-t-y dirty. It’s enough to make a girl, well, Swoon! ~ Shelly, 4 stars

Swoon – CM FOSS

5 Steamy, Swoony, Sassy Stars

Swoon is the second book from author CM Foss, and it serves as a companion, standalone novel to Shiver. Both books can be read without having read the other, as they feature the same characters but the stories are independent of each other. Shiver focused on Lissa and Ethan, Swoon is Steph and Lawrence’s story.

“She’d ruined me. And she would never let it happen again. So she said.”

Steph and Lawrence meet through their mutual friends, Lissa and Ethan in book one Shiver and while we got a hint of their attraction to one another, in Swoon, we are treated to the full length feature. Lawrence and Steph have a mutual friendship, it’s sassy, quirky, funny, and their chemistry is off the charts! Hot! Holy Sexual Tension Batman! They have this wonderful banter and respect for each other that makes their story incredibly entertaining. Reading these two verbally and mentally sparring with each other, was hilarious. Steph is totally independent, stubborn, sensitive, and totally in awe of this man from Kentucky. Lawrence is sweet, sexy, a family man, caring and complete over the moon, crazy about this woman who seems indifferent to all of his charms.

“It’s never just sex, sweetheart. Never has been.”

Their story plays out over the course of 2 years, pushing and pulling, waiting and yearning, fighting and making up. What’s wonderful here is that this was not an instant HEA; in fact I thought they were NEVER GONNA GET THERE!!! Steph would push, Lawrence would walk away, Lawrence would push, and Steph would walk away. It drove me batty! But that’s what I loved most about Swoon. These two battled a lot in order to find out that in the end, they were it for each other, they are each other’s one. I love a love story that makes the characters work for it, and Foss really made these two struggle for it.

“Four frigging months later I was still thinking about that kiss. Every. Single. Day. It had thrown me off balance, and I hadn’t quite regained my equilibrium.”

Swoon, is well written, it’s sweet, sexy, fun, a little sad, romantic, and a whole lot funny. I loved Steph and Lawrence’s antics, their dialogue was hilarious! They gave each other such a hard time, neither of them really willing to give the other the upper hand. But when they both finally had their “Ah Ha” moment, I dropped my kindle and did the happy dance. If you like your romance with some sexy times, humour, heart and angst, Swoon will leave you more than a little satisfied! I highly recommend Swoon it was a great way to spend an afternoon. Steph, Lawrence, Ethan and Lissa are guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours, laughing, swooning, and cursing all the way to the end.

“Falling ain’t nothing. It’s just falling with style.”

**TARA'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW**

I would characterize this book as a spin off from Shiver, while it is not necessary to read Shiver first, you definitely should. Shiver gives the background of the main characters in this book, while Swoon will revisit the main characters from Shiver. So do yourself a favor and grab Shiver before you read this book.

Read my review of Shiver HERE

I really enjoyed this story, Steph is tough as nails and not willing to let Lawrence in. Lawrence is a strong Alpha with a heart of gold and only wants to give Steph the world. She is not interested in being shook, but Lawrence does not give up easily. Distance and circumstances keep these two apart, but when they are together, sparks will fly. Both will need to give a little to make things work, but that is definitely easier said than done.

Another great book by CM Floss. Her writing style flows so easily that you will have a hard time putting this one down. The character development was great and having read the first book, I felt it easy to follow along with what had happened in the first book. While it is not necessary to read the first to follow this story, I would recommend it, as for me it worked out well. I still would have enjoyed the book had I not read the first though.

I really love Lawrence, like hard core. Everything about him made my heart "SWOON". He is relentless in going after the things he want, Steph included. He is a super sexy cowboy with a heart of gold.

"She was more like the joker than the queen, and for some reason, my idea of perfection."-Lawrence

I do admit, I was a little frustrated with Steph in the beginning, I just wanted her to give in and give Lawrence a chance, but the way everything played out ended up being perfectly. There was so much angst in this book, that I found myself holding my breath as I switched pages.

Lawrence and Steph have a really strong chemistry, and it was easy to feel their connection from the start. There were some pretty hot sex scenes, but nothing was ever over the top.

Overall, I really enjoy CM's writing style, so this book will rank high up on my top list. If you love a little sass, a hot cowboy, steamy sex and a group of friends that are just always looking out for each other, then this series is for you. This book left me wanting more of Lawrence, Steph, Lissa and Ethan!!!!!

So glad to finally get Steph and Lawrence's story !! This book starts off at a point in Shiver we have already read , but now we get it in their POV and of course I love dual POV !! This story is full of real life struggles and it is heartbreaking at times but yet heartwarming the same. I felt so invested in reading about the work Steph was doing with the kids and the soldiers and their families. It was amazing to see the changes being made and I just felt so touched by the gentleness in her work despite her strong willed and sometimes witchy attitude !! Steph was one of those girls that I loved but yet when she pissed me off it was major !!

Steph has no desire for a relationship but yet this attraction to Lawrence has been lingering on for months. Her fight to not give in drove me crazy !! I wanted to shake her and knock some sense into her but she was just so horrified to feel anything. Ironically in her work her goal was to make her patients feel something and when it came to her work and the horses her passion was beautiful. Why on earth she tortured herself and us was beyond me. I loved the inner monologue and I truly did enjoy getting to know her better. Her life has been full of struggles but each time she came out on top and aimed for bigger goals !!

Lawrence makes it known that he wants Steph , but it is what he wants from her that scares her away and frightens him too. He can't get her off his mind and despite the fact she drives him crazy he tries everytime he is there for business to win her over. Sadly we know he has because we get her thoughts but he really isn't too sure. Lawrence is a businessman and a great family man. Seeing him as an uncle makes me SWOON , seeing him as a man makes me SWOON , seeing him once he finally gets the girl makes me SWOON !! LOL

I think most of the reason Steph made me mad was because she wasted so much time. I hate when you turn a page and it is months later and the battle is still going on. I wanted to jump in the book , drag them together and make them take it out and admit all their fears and desires. Of course it is not my story to tell so I joined them for their roller coaster ride and yes we did get to the end and yes it was beautiful !! I enjoyed catching up with Lissa and Ethan and of course little Thomas as well !! Truly enjoyed seeing them all find happiness in love and create families and futures involving their passions. Both books were great and refreshing to read about this world of horses and the therapy and again real life issues !!

Swoon is a book that definitely lives up to its title and then some. I loved Lawrence and Steph in Shiver and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them better and delve deeper into their relationship. The timeline progression of the story was set up very nicely. It flowed well in terms of moving the plot along without feeling like there were huge gaps of missed time and events. Instead of relying upon flashbacks to set up Lawrence and Steph’s pasts, C.M. effectively used present day scenes to highlight how their pasts and family dynamics shaped their feelings about and approaches to being in a relationship. I would have loved to see a flashback to a scene with Lawrence and his brother in the prologue, though. It was great to also have the added bonus of getting to check back in on Lissa and Ethan and see where things had headed for them after Shiver left off.

Lawrence absolutely encompasses all of my favorite traits in a lead male character. He is strong without being overbearing and a smartass without being a jerk. He knows how to push Steph out of her comfort zone without leaving her feeling stranded and he always accepts her for who she is without trying to change her. Steph definitely got a bit frustrating while I waited for her to have her “lightbulb” moment, but I feel that if she hadn’t taken the time she needed to feel comfortable about her feelings for Lawrence, the relationship would have been set up for eventual failure. It was wasted time that maybe wasn’t quite so wasted after all at second glance.

One thing that I really enjoy about reading (and which is not always easy to find) is witty banter between the characters and Swoon has this in spades. C.M. has a definite gift for humorous dialogue and I got plenty of belly laughs as Lawry and Steph traded quips back and forth. Swoon was just a great blend of sass, steam, snark and sweet that packed a double punch of hitting me in both the feels and the funny bone.

My girl Tina Turner says it all...

Simply the best.

Better than all the rest.

You speak the language of love like you know it means.

CM, I hang on I every word you say write!

Cm Foss has a unique talent of intertwining the lives of her characters
into those of her readers.

I easily got lost in Steph and Lawrence's world.

Their love is almost a case of opposites attract, if you will.

Swoon if full of hilarious witty banter and romance with a hint angst.

The chemistry between Steph and Lawrence is palpable, but that's
the easy part.

It's not all rainbows and butterflies for these two on their
journey to love.

Compromises must be made.

Steph is hella cool, although I did want to cunt punt her a time...or two.

I am totally crushing on her.

She has a heart of gold, even without truly experiencing any form of
love growing up.Her childhood was far from ideal.
She had to "grow up" way too fast.

She's SUPER independent, compassionate, funny, sassy but terrified of love.

Until Lawrence.

Lawrence is amazing. The epitome of perfection.

Completely SWOON~worthy!

I am infatuated with him.

His loving and nurturing upbringing has made him a
very desirable man.
He is charming, patient, loving, loyal, and
uninterested in settling down.

Until Steph.

I am so in love with SWOON.

SWOON "can be" read as a stand alone.

However,I recommend reading "SHIVER" first.
Not only is it reallly good,
It gives a lot of background and insight on the characters!

I was very excited to see that Steph and Lawrence were getting their own book. I had enjoyed what I had read of the two of them in Shiver, however you do not have to read Shiver to read Swoon.
I'll start with Steph first. I loved Steph, she is such a diverse character. I wanted to pick her up and comfort her at times and in turn was ready to strangle her other times for her thoughts and choices. I always thought she just needed the right person to balance her out. Lawrence was such a great guy! He loves his family and their legacy. Lawrence doesn't seem to have too many people he is close to outside of his family. I am interested in learning more about Jace as well as Lawrence youngest sister.
I felt the flow of the story was smooth and kept me interested until the very last page. I loved seeing all of the back and forth that is the love of Steph and Lawrence. Together they are perfect for each other, challenging and supportive all in one. I loved reading how they worked and hope to read more from CM Foss.

WOW! This story was terrific! It is the next book after Shiver and I definitely enjoyed hearing what was happening in the lives of the characters from Shiver and it brings us back to Steph and Lawrence. Steph is so tough because of her past and is the complete opposite of Lawrence and the loving upbringing he had. They are the perfect example of opposites attracting. Steph fights against her feelings for Lawrence and throws herself into her job, but then she is forced to change directions. I loved how the author makes you feel comfortable with the characters and you become invested in them and wanting to see the best in them. I could not wait to see what would happen when some 'other woman' drama was thrown at Steph and how she would handle it. There were definitely some moments in this story that will make you laugh and other times you will feel like slapping one or two of the characters. This just makes this story all the more fun to read!

Cute, sweet and a bit sexy!

If you are searching for an easy read that will leave you feeling good. Swoon is the perfect book. There are no heavy storylines or confusing puzzles to figure out. Just the sweet love story of Lawrence and Steph. This is the first C.M. Foss book I have read and I really did enjoy it. I love characters that can make me laugh and Lawrence and Steph did just that!

Going into the book I didn't realize that it is actually the second book in a series but each book is it's own standalone with just glimpses of the other characters. I will definitely have to go back and read Shiver to get all of Lissa and Ethan's story though as I really enjoyed their characters as well.

I don't know where to begin to describe Swoon. Do not take that as a bad thing because trust me it is NOT. Lawrence, yeah, he stole my heart with his straightforwardness and passion to make Steph believe, fight, and grow. The use of "F" words played a major part in the union and fall of a couple that was just meant to be. I did fine myself researching many issue, ailments, ans so on to get a better understanding of what stole my heart.

This is a good love story and I wouldn't mind a twofer. I see a series here.

I know this will sound so cliche...it's true though, so DON'T JUDGE ME!
Swoon will make you swoon!!!
I fell in love with Lawrence and Steph from the very beginning. Steph is definitely a heroine readers want to know. And Lawry (ok, so Lawrence is now one of my BBF's, so HANDS OFF!). Well, read and you'll understand why I say you'll swoon!
This novel by CM Foss will make you...yeah, that!!! You will also feel despair, happiness and love. Not just for the main characters, but for the peripheral characters as well.
Read, then you will know!

This was my 1st CM Foss book. I had never heard of her until I was introduced to her thru some Author takeovers. I enjoyed Steph & Lawrence's story. Steph is very independent and doesn't believe in relationships. Lawrence is very swoon worthy.. They are drawn together not only for their love of horses but for their uniqueness. They can push each other's buttons and it drains them closer together. ***i was awarded this ARC copy for an Honest review****

Foss is one of the new generation writers worth checking. Even CoHo recognizes her talent. This one's my 2nd from her and what I admire most about her works are her settings. She pulls them off amazingly (at times, her style reminds me of Gruen just less heavy on the emotional gauge). She's now one of my go-to-authors whenever I need/want a breather from my current read/s.

This book just pulls at your heart strings. I've never read a book where the character(s) have such great patience. And then throw in an amazing story line, again with horses, and you will eat this storyline up. Talk about a grueling life decision.....You MUST read this book to get the full affect.

Swoooned, lost my heart to Queenie and Lawry 5 stars

Wow. Just wow. I’m blown away by my first encounter with CM Foss. Swoon is funny, sweet, totally swoon-worthy, beautiful, sexy, at moments heartbreaking and enchanting. I fell in love with the characters as I read on, I laughed, I swooned, I cried. I found the characters endearing and did I mention I swooned? I was rooting for my latest BBF, Lawrence, to win the heart of his smartass Queenie, Steph. I loved how the story is told in alternating POVs. I love, loooovvvee male POVs, so getting an insight into the mind of my latest BBF gave me the ultimate thrill. *swoon*

Steph and Lawrence meet via their friends, Lissa and Ethan, and sparks fly. Sadly for Lawry (as he is so lovingly dubbed by Steph) his love interest is not a relationship kind of girl, and so our boy doesn’t pursue her. But whenever they meet, they have the connection. Steph feels the connection and the attraction and everything, but she has never believed in love. Heartbreak moment one: Steph comes from a family which cannot be called family; her parents are first class douches. Why people who cannot love children have children is beyond me. I felt like slapping some sense into her parents. We are who we are because of the people we encounter in life. So Steph being the way she was, even though she was surrounded by amazing people, was influenced negatively by her parents. She knew that love exists. She had seen her best friend fall in love. She had seen the love between others, but for her personally she never felt she was worthy. It all comes down to...when your own parents don’t love you, how do you expect someone else to? *throw stuff at her parents*

Anyhoo, sparks tend to have a mind of their own, and said sparks tend to ignite in the presence of such intense chemistry. But alas when two stubborn as hell people with two opposing thoughts come together, the universe decides to make me wait for my HEA. I literally growled at Lawry, when he does NOT follow through. I was like DUDE what are you doing?! GO BACK! *glare ensue*

Steph is set in her ways; she doesn’t want to believe in HEA because she hadn’t seen it in her parents’ marriage. So she concentrates on her job that she totally loves, she is a hippotherapist and the job gives her immense pleasure. This is the part where I swooned some more, because this girl, I kid you not, has the heart of gold. She is a truly beautiful person inside and out and has the genuine desire to help people who are disabled. This is the place where I totally crushed on CM Foss, yes my peeps, I am in lurve with Ms. Foss. She introduced a new way of healing souls. There are a lot of people out there who lose their ability to lead a normal life due to accidents. I had no idea that hippotherapy was a thing. I have never encountered horses in my life. There are a few ponies here, but I haven’t seen them up close. But I love the majestic beasts and to learn that they can heal in a way that basic therapy cannot made me swoon all over.

As the story progressed, I learned more about Lawry, his family and the whole equation of who he really was. The man that was Lawrence is completely swoon-worthy. He’s smart, he loves kids *siiiigh*, he is close to his family *double swoon* and he loves his girl *puddle of mush at his feet*. Even though he tried to move on, he never forgot his girl. She had already burrowed inside his heart. When he finally decides to pursue her for good and finally put his love to test, he finds out what she has endured in his absence. His little chat with Ethan made me swoon and giggle again. I mean seriously, I LOVE THIS MAN.
Life has a way of throwing you off the surf board when you’re enjoying that perfect wave at the least opportune moments, sigh. So Queenie finds herself at a cross road; what will she do? Will she pursue her heart? Will she leave behind her work that she loves so much? Or will she move forward and find her HEA with Lawry?

You gotta 1-Click this book to find out. I am completely enamored with Lawry and Queenie and Ms. Foss. She hooked me from the beginning and kept me glued to my kindle. This is a story of two opposites meeting and forever changing the course of their lives. I laughed, I giggled, I swooned, I smiled, I cried and I love. I left with a heart so full that I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this story. GO READ IT RIGHT NOW or forever be lost in a sea of nothingness. GO. RIGHT. NOW.
