Unfortunately I’m not able to upload a picture right now of the book. The app is being a challenge. But to the book!

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. I received it quite quickly and was in fantastic condition.

I loved this book. I’ve been looking for more Christian books about marriage, relationships, and communication. This book checks all of the boxes.

What’s great is the author is humble enough to admit the things his marriage was going through and used real life scenarios, dialogue, and thoughts during an argument.

He absolutely nails it in the examples given of, if you say this then x will happen, but if you try this then y will happen.

I started using strategies immediately at home and has helped immensely. Life has been hitting my family and well, I needed to stop coming off as a jerk that leads to no production of the argument. I realized there are things to let go or if it really really does bother me, it coaches how to better navigate expressing your concerns.

I’ve recommended this already to a friend and my wife. By understanding perspective, I think we’ll strengthen our marriage and communication skills.

Good Marriage is such a well rounded book that every new newly wed should have if you’re Christian as it is a big part of the book. Not only does it cover conflict resolution and how to navigate all the things that come with now sharing space with your partner but being around them 24/7 but it also focus on your own personal identity how your love languages play a part in a healthy marriage. It’s quite easy to follow. It does have biblical references which if you follow any of the abrahamic religions you’d like how it’s incorporated into the book.

This was good, not great. Started out strong but I feel like they tried to stuff too much info into one book. This could have been 3-4 seperate books. Felt a little compressed and confusing at times.
However, this is all amazing content and for someone who already has some knowledge on enneagrams and love languages this book is an amazing recap and amazing reminder
