Mackenzie is back at her home town, and her first day proves to be a bit challenging as she and Captain Dan have a difference of opinion at a crash. Tensions flare between the two…can they successfully fight their attraction and work together? Will a dangerous situation bring them together?
I found this to be an emotionally charged love story. Both characters are “broken” in different ways, but manage to work through their issues together. Great story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book provided by booksprout.

This story was an enjoyable firefighter romance story to read. It was an enemy to lover story that is about grumpy Captain Dan Mason and Makenzie Tillman who returned home and got hired as the new paramedic. What occurs was an enjoyable well written story. Their chemistry simmered, the drama was interesting, the romance steamy, and storyline engaging in this copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.

Dan and Mackenzie are co workers that start out as enemies the very first day of work. From the beginning there is some attraction that eventually explodes into something more.

Passion for a Broken Firefighter by Ariel Prosper is the story of Dan and Makenzie. She’s new to the team. He’s the Captain and he’s always on her case about something. But, there’s no denying the sizzle when they are together. He has a past…one he won’t open up about. This was a great story!!
