i really don't think i'll be able to express how good this story is with just my words at my current state. the art hits all the right spots at all the right points, depicting a world of etherealness so vividly brilliant you might just find yourself shedding a tearim not talking about myself shut up. mori's journey started off with childish hope and bravery and by the time
the entire story is so astoundingly heartwarming, and all the emotions were conveyed masterfully, much of which was without words. the few characters who speak often play such major roles and i happily admit that i am in complete love for everybody.

Screaming, crying! I love this so much! It's just so good and so touching. You might think it's just a silly cutesy story but it's so much more than that. Everyone should try reading this! You will definitely not regret it.
"I'm doubtful I could measure up to be a proper mother, even if I tried my best to imitate everything I've learned about being one."
I finished the main story that has 31 chapters, and up to the latest (4th) epilogue which seems to be a side story that continues their life together with the most adorable, Mori. Glad it's not totally finished yet! I want to see more.
I don't want to think about it but somehow, this reminds me of Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms , and I refuse to acknowledge that thought because it hurts.
Anyway, everyone's together and happy! Mori is round and lovely! Endless joy to all of them! I love this so, so much!

most beautiful manhwa i have ever read. everyone should read this one for at least once in their lifetime and i am not kidding. this is truly a masterpiece!!!!

One day after being discovered in an abandoned house by a rescue team, Mori finds himself in a children's protection center. Here he learns a new way of life – one that includes grand care packages sent by a mysterious patron. But when his closet friend is reunited with her mother and leaves the center, Mori learns for the first time the existence of a mother for every child, and decides to embark on a journey to find his own.
So far the introduction at webtoons and it with that it could be going like your usual childcare toon that can be found everywhere online where he's adopted by the Duke of the North who realize that Mori's his real son or maybe he becomes the crown prince after he wrapped the court around his finger with his adorbs-ness or such stuff. There would be probably magic involved or swordsmanship techniques but this is different. Yes, Mori's adorably cute and the story has most of the time a cozy if not sweet vibe but more of the wholesome kind without the saccharine aftertaste. The first surprise surely comes after Mori left the idyllic orphanage und finds himself suddenly in the clutches of monstrous human traffickers because, you'll see, it's no medieval fantasy but a dystopian earth after aliens took over. At that moment earth looks a lot like Tatooine even more so when suddenly a devil-red bounty hunter Han-Solo style is coming to the rescue or maybe not exactly to the rescue because he's after the bounty for those bandits and wants to do nothing with puny Mori but of course it comes as it has to and he joins Mori's quest to find his mum which isn't easy because did I mention that Mori due to his age and ferocious upbringing doesn't really talk.
It's a found-family story, so don't expect to see Mori's biological parents. Who they find is Miria, head of the Fah clan, secret patron of the orphanage and as alien as Ryder. Now another adventure is starting culminating into a necessary darker, nearly despairing part because you see, the quest is not only Mori's but also one for his Alien family who has no idea about children or the concept of family and that caring sometimes also means to stand up against the almighty Arbiter. However, it wouldn't be the end if it's not a happy one where Ryder and Miria decides that they both be Mori's mum because a concept like 'father' never came up and would be frighteningly alien.
If you ever going to read this, do yourself a favor and also read all the episodes of the epilogue which includes short stories of Mori's shenanigans as well as a nearly tear-jerking story about one of his friends from the orphanage.

Never in my life i thought i would cry this much about a boy's journey to meet his mom.
I can't even express how much i loved this webtoon. Such a wonderful and heartwarming story. The literal definition of family, found family and what family truly means. Every single character was so beautifully written and felt real and the artwork was beyond breathtaking.
This was an emotional journey i won't forget.

additionally, the art in this series is top tier. the author really paid extra attention on the background sceneries, in order to help us immerse in the world, and to see the world through Mori's eyes. The sceneries were really breathtaking and I found myself pausing to zoom in on a lot of panels to just observe and admire the art, which honestly doesn't happen too often when i'm reading webtoons

Such a breath of fresh air from the usual, popular manwhas. A unique, delightful exploration of unconventional “moms” (yes, there is more than one, technically speaking) with alien characters that are actual alien.

Honestly lads, my heart was melting every time I saw Mori and the monsters raising him interacting so cutely to one another. I just liked how the read wasn’t full of chaos, now obviously there was a bit of heavy scenes especially with the Lily and Delver case or how Mori was feral in the very beginning. Other than that, you would really enjoy this read like I don’t usually read monsters who look after children but this story was icing on the cake. I like the fact we have non binary monsters as it just makes the read a lot more interesting. I throughly enjoyed Ryder, Miria, Jair, Aiya and the penguin-like servants being so loving towards Mori as their precious son and my god, the author does it right. I also loved the fact Aiya always pisses off Ryder so much like the amount of times the robot annoys them, is just hilarious. I just loved their silly relationship xD Also to add, I ship Ryder and Miria even tho this story isn’t supposed to be romantic but they were precious regardless and the fact Jair went over the top about it to protect Mori was hysterical, love it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The art was absolutely beautiful like omg the galaxy skies were just out of this friggin world like Gomyang knows how to make a slap of a legendary art piece rather than AI slop you see nowadays unfortunately! Really decent manhwa I have read this year, throughly enjoyed it overall!

So far, I think On the Way to Meet Mom is difficult not to like. It's well drawn, it's funny, it's mysterious, it's entertaining, and it opens up a fantastical world that feels like it's much bigger than what we get to see on the pages. Perhaps a few moments were a little too silly, but I feel invested in the story, and I'm definitely interested to see how things will turn out.

What a freaking delight!! I mean, just based on the name you could guess it would be wonderful, but it truly was such a heartwarming manhwa.
All of the characters are sooo great and Mori is the cutest little kid. I was reading it next to my son and looked at him adoringly the whole time, too. Brings up something in you.
A great thing. I'm sure I'll reread at some point just to feel this fuzzy feeling inside again.

Mori is so freaking cute. This webtoon is so wholesome, it is also emotional. But so beautiful.

Una lectura muy tierna y conmovedora, acompañada de un arte realmente precioso que hace que cada escena se sienta aún más especial. Es un manhwa muy cortito, y aunque se disfruta muchísimo, me habría encantado que durara un poquito más para poder seguir acompañando a los personajes. Aun así, es una historia muy linda, llena de sensibilidad, que emana muchísimo amor y deja una sensación muy bonita al terminarla. 💗

I picked this up on a whim, after reading a sweet review on GR. This is NOT what I expected at all and I mean that in the best way 🔥
The art is stunning, the character design is breathtaking, the pace and action is perfect, and the protagonist Mori is so incredibly cute it's unfair. I love watching how other characters respond to him, but Rider in particular. Rider and Aia aroace icons, dare I say?? On to volume two!!

Sometimes you just need to read about love and hope. And also motherhood, but from the perspective of beings who reproduce asexually and have no concept of what that means.
I'm a sucker for found families and if this ain't that then I don't know what is. And the art is also so pretty and cute, 10/10, I did cry at the end ✨

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is always a great reminder of the best in us- wonder and joy at the universe and it's diverse creations, and the devastating, intertwined love-grief of parenthood....
