I read this last year and somehow forgot to rate it.
This is wholesome. It's wonderful, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. It breaks your heart and then puts it back together while you're crying ugly.
May I interest you in:
❤️ An orphan kid, Mori, who embarks on a journey to find his mother after discovering we all have one
👽 An outlaw, Ryder, who incidentally starts taking care of him
🪽 The realization that what it means to be a mother is not a black-or-white concept.
This is wholesome. It's wonderful, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. It breaks your heart and then puts it back together while you're crying ugly.

"A young child sets off on a journey to find his mom." Normally with a premise that depressing, I would not want to read the book. BUT THIS IS SUCH A HEALING STORY! THE PERFECT FOUND FAMILY! IN A VERY INTERESTING DYSTOPIAN SETTING!
It is just a bunch of aliens wanting to be a mother for Mori and trying to find out what being a mother entails. This story is just so heart-wrenchingly beautiful and I wept about 40 times. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE ART. Stunning.
I am BEGGING people to read this masterpiece. It has only 31 chapters and you can read it on webtoon. Do yourself a favour and just start it. You will be thanking me!

Küçücük bir çocuğun kendi yuvasını, ailesini bulma yolculuğunu anlatıyor kısaca. Ama bunu distopik bir dünyada yapmasının yanında kullandığı renk paleti, anlatımda kullandığı dil o kadar naif ve o kadar tatlı ki siz de kitap boyunca hem Mori'nin hem de kendinizin keşif yolculuğuna çıkıyorsunuz. Çok kısa ama çok beğendiğim bir çizgi roman oldu.

Mori es un niño pequeño de no más de cuatro años que ha crecido solo entre animales y bestias hasta que lo encuentran y se llevan a un orfanato donde conoce a una niña que está esperando a su mamá, y cuando esta llega a buscarla Mori se pregunta si también habrá una mamá para el ahí afuera. Así que huye de su orfanato y se embarca en una odisea para encontrarla.
Spoilers a partir de aquí
Para ser una historia sobre seres intergalácticos, personajes como Ryder o Mirya se ven muy bíblicos.
Ryder es de las personas ficticias más hots q he visto y el hecho de q sea alguien q procura y cuida de Mori y se encariña tanto de el es muy lindo.
El diseño de Mirya es hermoso, semejante a un Serafín bíblico Pero bonito.
Me gusta el tipo de relación que tienen Ryder y Mirya, al ser una especie sin géneros ni necesidad reproductiva sexual (Hasta donde se debido a su sorpresa y desconocimiento de los bebés y crías cualquier especie, probablemente se reproduzcan asexualmente) su relación de "Padre" y "Madre" o "Esposo" y "Esposa" es meramente simbólica para procurar a Mori, a pesar de que claramente hay un cariño y un afecto muy grande y hasta se podría decir que amor pq si son una familia, este no es un amor romántico ni sexual, solo son dos personas que les cayó un hijo del cielo y se aman para amarlo y me encanta eso.
MORI ES EL NENITO MÁS LINDO DEL MUNDO. Amo que durante el manhwa podemos ver su crecimiento y sanación a su trauma de vivir solo, pasando de no comunicarse en absoluto a incluso entender dos idiomas (Alien y humano). También conforme avanza la historia se va asustando menos y comienza a expresar sus emociones con más libertad (Llorar, reír, ser curioso, etc) E incluso cuando vuelve a ser atrapado es capaz de intentar comunicarse con Ryder

It’s been a while since a book touched me like this one. At first, I thought it would be a simple story — just Mori’s quiet journey to find his mother. But who would’ve guessed it would turn into a dystopian world where humans and animals are almost extinct, and monsters roam the land?
What truly melted me was how the people — or rather, the Aliens — around Mori adored him. They cooked for him, scolded him when he drew on the walls, and watched over him as he slept. There’s something so pure and tender in how they cared for him, like love finding a way even in the ruins of the world.
My favorite scene is when Mori gets “rescued” by the Judge. He refuses to eat, refuses to sleep — missing the Aliens who used to love him so dearly. So one of them, Rider, goes to meet him and gently asks him to show why he wants them as his “mother.” That moment shattered me in the softest way. And then there’s Rider and Myria, trying so hard to understand what being a mother means — only to realize it isn’t about being perfect or prepared. It’s about showing up, staying, and loving without end.
The design, the characters, the artwork — everything is just beautiful. I adore the emotion in Mori’s eyes, the intensity of the fight scenes, and the raw feelings on Myria’s face. The world-building and the alien designs are exactly my kind of aesthetic — detailed, heartfelt, and full of life.
Ahh… I really, really love Mori. So, so much.

POV: "yo al terminar esta conmovedora historia"
Esta es una de las historias más enternecedoras que he leído, presenciar la travesía de Mori (al inicio de este año) me llenó de inspiración y esperanza.
Para intentar "resumir" la situación, en un inicio "conocemos" a Mori, un pequeño humano rescatado de un estilo de vida salvaje y reubicado en un orfanato. En este orfanato conoce a Rowena, a quien podríamos considerar su primera amiga y "guía" en cuanto a descubrir y entender conceptos "humanos". Es entonces que una chispa se enciende en Mori y se embarca en un viaje para saber ¿en dónde está su mamá?
Claro que esa sería la premisa principal pero durante esa travesía nos encontramos en un mundo distópico (casi post apocalíptico en el que la humanidad ya no está totalmente presente) lleno de criaturas peculiares. Con un golpe de suerte Mori es "rescatado" por Ryder (un demonio buscado) y Aiya (un robot creado por Ryder), quienes poco a poco van aceptando y encariñandose con Mori en este viaje para "regresarlo" a donde pertenece.
Creo que si digo más "arruinaría" el impacto de los momentos experimentados entre los personajes, el rumbo de la historia, las dudas y reflexiones que plantea; y el enternecedor descenlace.
Entonces, solo diré: los invito a darle una oportunidad a tan bella historia

This is the cutest most amazing manhwa I have ever read in my entire life!
Mori is just so precious and Ryder, Miria and the rest of the Fah clan are so pure and full of love, I have never read such great characterization and depth of emotion in a piece of web comic like this!
This was an absolutely amazing read, and I cannot express how amazing the art was, the backgrounds, textures and attention to detail were to die for!
I was promised a side story so I'll definitely be looking forward to it and more of the author's work ❤️✨

Where is the english print volume of this manhwa?! It is one of the most beautiful things I've read in years. Stunning art, lovely themes/messages, a cute but engaging plot, great characterisation and character growth, subtle commentary, super fun scenes and just all around adorable soul food.
I want to buy all the copies and force everyone I know to read them immediately. I am also going to reread this all the time whenever I feel sad and angry at the world because Mori and his found family make my heart happy.
And just to stress again- the art is gorgeous. It was captivating and wondrous and evocative and truly beautiful. It genuinely feels like art, not just illustrations.
A million stars.

I binge read the whole thing on Webtoon, and it's now my favorite. ❤️ I really loved Love Bites a lot, but this one really tops it so much. I actually played some mini games so I can get coins to unlock the last epilogue chapters. I want more sooooo bad! 😫 I want to see more of Mori, Ryder, Miria, Aiya, and the rest of the family helping raise Mori and follow them on their adventures. This comic is so beautiful and cute. I'm just not ready to say goodbye to the characters and the art. I can't wait for the physical copies to come out because I will most likely wear them books out. 😆

I'm not sure why this came across my BL recommendations on another site because there is nothing romance-related to this story. It is, however, a ridiculously precious story, and I'm thrilled that I read it. This was so fucking precious and devastating and wonderful! I literally cried while reading this.

Mori was so cute! I love how everyone was understanding towards Mori's trauma, and built relationships with him at his pace. Ryder stepping in and becoming Mori's mom was funny and endearing.
The gender neutral characters and their platonic take on marriage was new and interesting. If you want to watch a bunch of aliens raise a human a cute, non-verbal human child, this is it. I'll definitely be re-reading this.

This manwha sure created the cutest and sweetest precious boi that I just want to protect with MY LIFE!
To then emotionally destroy me! I teared up a lot with some of the last chapters, and I think, if binge so all feelings at once and if I wasn't at work when I read them, I would have probably cry with them

Such a beautiful story both in its visuals and in writing. It explores what is a parent and their relationship with a child with all its flaws and sweetness. It is very heartwarming but may make you cry at times.
