Christian parents have no greater privilege than to introduce their children to God's grace. This book, written for parents, highlights the character of God, the reality of sin, the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, the empty tomb, and the gift of salvation. A CD with five hymns for children will seal these concepts in their hearts, and the text will help parents teach their children and guide them in prayer to receive Jesus and follow him as their personal Lord and Savior.

I feel really bad for saying this because I think the intentions were really good, but I didn’t care for this one. Nothing fresh or creative, and not very practical. Maybe when my kids are older the stories would be more appealing.
A quick read, a short book. Gives some good ideas about helping your children become Christians. My son is only 3 at the time, so I did not read the stories in the book to him, as suggested, but will implement some of the ideas now (like choosing prayer roads, daily prayer with him like we already do, playing more Christian music for him). I love the CD that came with the book - great Christian songs. I plan to re-read this book again when he's older to refresh my memory of what I read and to be reminded of how to lead my children to Christ.
This is an easy read book that is great to help a parent "brush up" on being able to lead their child to Christ. I especially liked the stories it inlcuded to read to your kids and the special helps sprinkled through out the book. My favorite part, though, is the "24 Family Ways" in the back. Excellent!
