This omnibus pulls together a series of stories from the DS9 comics as part of a celebration of its 30th anniversary. The first story has the station overwhelmed with visitors as all sorts of interesting characters arrive in the hopes of finding a secret treasure that was hidden during the Cardassian occupation. It's up to Odo and Kira get tot the bottom of the case before the station or too many people are hurt.
In another of the stories, a serial killer is on the loose. The string of death begins when one of the restaurants on the Promenade is bombed, almost killing Dr. Bashir and Garak. Odo finds himself working with the Betazoid detective, who is still coming to terms with the recent occupation of Betazed by the Dominion. It may take everything they know about the culture of DS9 when it was Terok Nor.
My favorite story in the group introduces readers to Latty, a purebread Corgi puppy that Quark ends up taking in when the deal the dog is involved with is delayed. The crew all fall in love with Latty and end up going to great lengths to protect him when he is placed in danger.
Overall, the stories were pretty strong.

Collects the 3 miniseries that read like lost episodes along with some short stories at the end. The first one is early on in the show. All of these shady people keep showing up and tearing up the station because they heard a rumor about treasure being left behind after the Kardassians left. It's alright. I think it's the weakest of the three with some shaky art.
The second story is a murder mystery. A bomb explodes on the station and then all these Ferengi keep getting murdered. This was good and really fit in with something they'd do on the show.
The last story, Dog of War, has an A and B story. It takes place when things are not going well for the Federation during the Dominion War. Sisko gets a hold of a Borg device that could change the war if there's no downsides in using it. Quark has also obtained a genetically perfect corgi that he's selling that becomes the star of the station. This was a lot of fun.
The short stories at the end I could take or leave, especially the one with Ezri Dax. I never cared for her character.

I don’t typically read graphic novels, but this collection of short stories set in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was a fun surprise. The stories brought back a lot of nostalgia for the show and its characters. The pieces by Scott Tipton and David Tipton especially stood out—they captured the voices of the characters so well that I could easily hear Benjamin Sisko and Odo in my head while reading. I also enjoyed “Mother’s Walk” by Cecil Castellucci, which highlights Kira Nerys’s deep connection to Bajoran traditions. Overall, a nostalgic and enjoyable return to the station.

Muddy and inconsistent art. The stories are fine, but it’s almost unreadable in places. DS9 deserves better.

Some pretty solid Ds9 stories, nothing ground breaking; but good enough for fans who have been starved for DD9 content for over a decade.
