Going in Dry The no-BS guide to quitting drinking, reclaiming your life, and still being the life of the damn party.
If you’re tired of hangovers, half-hearted promises to "cut back” and waking up wishing you'd made better choices, this book is for you.
Katrina Tomacchio is an award-winning restaurateur and non-alcoholic beverage consultant who’s helped bars and restaurants across the Northeast launch bold, crave-worthy spirit-free menus. She’s built the bars, curated the cocktail lists and witnessed enough drunk drama to the real mess always starts after the last round.
But Going in Dry isn’t just about quitting alcohol—it’s about everything you gain when you do. Confidence. Clarity. Control. And the unapologetic joy of living life on your own terms.
Inside, you’ll ⭐ Raw, real stories that will make you laugh, cry and say “me too” ⭐ Tools to navigate sobriety without losing your social life ⭐ Journal prompts to help you uncover what you’re really craving ⭐ A reality check on what it means to truly love yourself
Whether you’re sober curious, newly alcohol-free, or ready to leave drinking behind for good, Going in Dry is your permission slip to live louder, love deeper and finally feel like yourself.
This isn’t just a sobriety book. It’s a revolution with extra lime.
Not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting a 12 step manual to getting sober. However I was pleasantly surprised to be enthralled with each chapter outlining Katrina’s own story with alcohol. She wrote very raw real words on every page detailing her own life and journey with alcohol and how it affected every aspect of her life. I couldn’t put the book down. There were really good reflection questions as well - well thought out for each chapter/message. I hope there is a second book to follow.
If you are sober curious - this book is for you. Katrina humor lights up the pages and makes you feel like you are back in the early 2000s with her partying while at the same time making you want to cry because you feel her pain in the low moments. Her sobriety journey is different because it’s not just about ditching the booze but ditching other bad habits and breaking generational cycles.
