Briar never wanted to return home. Not to the ghosts of her past, not to the truth she’s spent years burying. But life doesn’t always allow for avoidance, and now she stands at the threshold of everything she ran from—her stepbrothers, Teddy and Corey.
They’ve always been protective, always territorial. But this time, it’s not about them—it’s about her. About the truth she’s long denied. About the feelings she swore were unnatural, impossible.
Now, in the place where everything began, Briar has only one choice; face the past, or let it consume her.
If taboo stories are your guilty pleasure, this one deserves a spot on your shelf. The way it shifts between past and present builds such a full, layered understanding of the characters. And the spice? Just enough to heat things up while still letting the story shine.
✨ T r o p e s + T r i g g e r s ✨ Taboo | Step-Siblings Domestic Violence | Abuse Multiple POV Mute MMC Spicy
This was definitely an in-between read for me. Not too long, spicy, dark, and the kind of guilty pleasure you can tear through without overthinking. After a long, drawn-out read before this, Run Rabbit felt like chaotic relief.
It’s a taboo romance full of tension, obsession, protectiveness, and a love triangle that gets… intense. There’s spice, violence, possessiveness, and a whole lot of “you are mine” energy.
That said, the writing could’ve used more editing. Missing punctuation, weird phrasing, and even missing words here and there really made me stop more than once to figure out what was being said. It didn’t ruin it, but it definitely took me out of the story at times.
Emotionally, I was a little thrown by the shift near the end. I was rooting for one connection the entire way through, so the sudden change in direction felt off. But, and this is a big but, I know there’s going to be a second book, so maybe I’ll still get my way. 😉
This authour is smashing i highly reccomend all her books.
This book is well written the plot clicks beautifully and its not over done with spice i know some people like it with a little spice but not to much this one has spice where it fits into the destroy not just aimless smut
I am curious to see if there is another book to this one though as its been left with a semi hang 🤣 so its open to either ending where it did orrrrrr having at least one more book.
Briar vsits back home after becoming engaged amazing news to share with her mum and family. But then something heartbreaking happenes which will trigger the next events which are brutal to start with. Will briar survive the things she's being forced to hide or will her family help her survive.
I devoured this book from start to finish. Hooked from page one and I could NOT put it down! It felt like all my favourite tropes blended into one addictive, dark cocktail—YUM 😩
Briar was such a strong lead, but the twins?? OBSESSED. I need more Teddy & Corey ASAP 😍😍
The pacing was flawless, the spice was on point, and the plot kept me guessing. Eleanor has completely smashed it with this one, and now I’m counting down the days until the next part drops!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dark, sexy, and spicy! This book had me hooked from start to finish. I adored both MMCs — their dynamic was everything 🥵 The chemistry, the tension, the push and pull… pure perfection.
I loved the flashbacks too! Getting those glimpses of them growing up together and seeing how their relationship evolved made the story hit even harder. Such a beautiful touch.
And that ending?! My jaw was on the floor 😭 Diving into book 2 immediately because I have to know what happens next!!
This story was not written very well- very choppy and incomplete. Decent dynamic and pull between Briar, Teddy, and Corey. But not enough to make me want to read the second part of this duet. Some spice but nothing extraordinary.
so i decided to give this a read and honestly I am starting to wonder if Eleanor pops drugs into writing because I just couldn't put this down! I devored this series!!
Omg i started this 5 hours ago and I've finished it... I loved it!! Corey, that's all I'm saying Corey 😍 it's so good. The story, the spice, all of it!
4.5⭐ Eleanor knocked it out the park with this book, I enjoyed it so much! I absolutely loved Briar, how strong she was and how she had contended with so much! Teddy & Corey... dear god, the twins were magnificent! 🤤. That scene! I really loved the plot in this book, I felt like there was lots going on, lots moving the story and I actually really enjoyed the plot to spice ratio. It wasn't over the top on spice and it didn't need to be because the plot was doing so much ... but when the spice did come in, it was perfect! I feel like this definitely left me needing more, I need to know what happens next! ❤️
Step siblings with twins? This author knows what she’s doing 😮💨 I loved what a quick and easy read this was, I especially loved the formatting of the physical book 😏 but this book had a great plot, love it when the fmc is engaged to someone not nice and of course has her brothers behind her back if you get what I mean 😏
