The latest Harlequin Romance by Jenny Lane, a hidden identity, second chance, sapphic billionaire romance!
A weeklong getaway to the past…
Travel writer Blake’s latest assignment is a sun-drenched stay at a luxury Napa Valley resort. Lush landscapes, decadent food and wine—what’s not to love? Apart from perhaps running into Sloane, the ex-girlfriend that left a decade ago without explanation. The pain of abandonment is as strong as ever, but Blake’s on the verge of a big break; she can’t walk away. Even if it means confronting buried secrets…and their scorching chemistry! Has their romance run its course—or aged like a fine wine?
From Harlequin Be swept away by glamorous and heartfelt love stories.
Jenny Lane writes contemporary stories with queer characters ranging from middle grade to adult. Their stories are queer, whimsical, heartwarming…and always end with a happily ever something. There is nothing Jenny loves more than a fire pit, an ocean view, and a good book to read—but they will settle for any combination of these three. When they aren't writing or reading something, Jenny works as a librarian and advocate for literacy.
A dream assignment at a Napa Valley resort becomes a test of wills as Blake confronts buried secrets and undeniable chemistry with the ex who broke her heart. Has their romance run its course, or is it time for a second pour? I loved the picturesque setting of this entertaining second-chance romance. The characters are likeable and well-developed in this heartwarming story.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
How to Resist Your Billionaire Ex is Harlequin at its romantic best. It has lots of romance with a backdrop of drama. Plus, there’s a little bit of steam. It has a diverse cast and a couple you want to see together at the end. There’s no resisting this one.
