In this eye-opening memoir, Eric Trump relays surprising and gripping moments throughout his life and career as part of one of America’s most prominent families.
From his earliest memories of growing up as part of the Trump family to pivotal roles in the 2016 and 2024 presidential elections, spearheading strategies to combat lawfare, and leading the Trump Organization, Eric has been deeply invested in all aspects of his family’s legacy. As one of his father’s original apprentices, Eric has always strived to build on that foundation.
As the Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization since 2015, Eric has navigated the dual worlds of politics and business, growing the company, while battling unprecedented opposition from the media, Democrats, and ongoing legal challenges.
From raids on his childhood home, Mar-a-Lago, to near assassination attempts, from Russiagate to cold and corrupt court rooms, the fake news media, censorship, and character smears—this wasn’t just an attack on a president, or even his family. America itself was under siege.
In this book, Eric offers an unfiltered look at the highs and lows of life in the Trump world; how he took the reins of a multibillion-dollar empire at thirty-three years old; enlightening stories from real estate to the boardroom of The Celebrity Apprentice, and the chaos of the campaign trail.
As Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, Eric is responsible for all aspects of management and operation of the global real estate empire including new project acquisition, development and construction. From the finest residential properties, to luxury hotels, iconic golf courses, magnificent office and retail locations to wineries, entertainment venues and brokerage, Eric Trump is intimately involved in the success and growth of The Trump Organization. Eric actively spearheads the rapid growth of Trump Golf, bringing the portfolio from three properties in 2006, to nineteen today. With award-winning locations in New York, New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, California, Scotland, Ireland, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia, Eric is directly responsible for overseeing the construction, management and daily operations of each Trump Golf property to ensure the courses, clubhouses and amenities maintain the highest standard of luxury service and quality. Recently, Eric led the $250 million dollar redevelopment of the famed Trump National Doral, Miami, the acquisition of Trump International Ireland and the 200£ million renovation of the legendary Trump Turnberry resort in Scotland, home to four British Open Championships.
Eric and his family are also credited with the creation of Trump Hotels, one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands. Established in 2006, Trump Hotels features eleven properties through the world in Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Miami, Vancouver, Ireland, Virginia, Scotland and most recently Washington D.C. with Trump International Hotel, located right on Pennsylvania Avenue. Despite having only been open for a little over two years, the hotel has already garnered tremendous accolades including being listed as one of the most luxurious hotels in the world by Forbes.
Eric is also responsible for the expansion and operation of Trump International Realty (TIR), the luxury brokerage division of The Trump Organization and global leader in high-end residential sales. Separately, Eric actively pursues independent business ventures and opportunities, including the Trump Winery, the largest vineyard on the East Coast of the United States and a leading manufacturer of award-winning wines, based in Charlottesville, VA. In 2013, Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded Eric with its “Rising Star of the Year” Award, one of the most prestigious honors within the wine community.
Eric is a respected authority in the business sector and highly sought after speaker delivering key note addresses at many high profile real estate and business conferences worldwide. He appeared regularly as an advisor on NBC’s hit television series, “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
In addition to his love of real estate and passion for construction, Eric has worked tirelessly since the age of 21 to fight against pediatric cancer, donating over $30 million to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, including the funding of a state-of-the-art surgical ICU which opened in his name in February 2015.
Eric graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in Finance and Management. He resides with his wife, Lara, son, Luke; daughter, Carolina and their dogs, Charlie & Ben, in New York.
This book presents a profoundly one-sided account that omits or distorts key facts to serve its narrative. Readers seeking an honest reckoning with events will instead find a selective retelling that consistently favors the authors while dismissing legitimate criticisms.
The tone is persistently self-pitying, asking readers to sympathize with individuals of enormous privilege and resources who seem genuinely aggrieved at being held to account. The portrayal of public servants, legal professionals, and institutions is not just unfavorable but often borders on conspiracy-minded, framing standard legal processes and transparency requirements as targeted persecution. The underlying assumption—that the authors should somehow be exempt from scrutiny that applies to others—is never acknowledged, much less justified.
It is a genuine shame that rather than honestly tell their story, the author has used it as an opportunity to score points. For anyone interested in these events, this account should be treated with considerable skepticism and cross-referenced against more reliable sources and documented evidence.
This is more like a defense brief than a real book. The book’s main goal seems to be convincing readers that the author’s family has been unfairly targeted, rather than offering genuine reflection or insight. What could have been an opportunity for transparency and self-examination turns into a grievance-filled account that blames everyone else, media, courts, political opponents, while absolving the author and his family of responsibility.
The narrative leans heavily on emotional appeal, asking readers to empathize with people of immense wealth and influence who see accountability as persecution. It paints institutions and legal systems in almost conspiratorial terms, turning routine investigations into evidence of bias. This framing might satisfy loyal supporters, but it does little to persuade anyone seeking an even-handed discussion of facts.
convicted felon cries wolf...written by a child you realizes his father is a corrupt and horrible pos....this book will be on my laugh graph for years......you'd have to be a fool to think anyone but bots liked this book...... we will never back down
Eric provides a unique insight to a variety subjects. Some insight to growing up and his background that shaped his life the Trump Towers and summers at his materal grandmothers in the Czechoslovakia. The vast majority of the book relates to his fathers decision to run for President. It entails ALL the trials and tribulations that have risen along the way. Including Russiagate, impeachments, various criminal charges following the 2020 election. The raid on Mar Logo the assination attempts. The third run for office. Along the way the reader gets an insight at just how corrupt the Dems are and their bedfellows the media. It was a very good read.
This book is amazing! I listened to the audiobook, which is great because Eric reads it himself. I listened to the entire book in just two days. It completely drew me in and kept my interest throughout. You can tell Eric is passionate about his dad and about the USA. This book helped to solidify my compassion/understanding/love for the Trump family. I just ordered two hardcopies on Amazon to give for Christmas presents. Thank you, Eric for being so candid and honest during a time when you and your family are being attacked daily.
Eric Trump’s Under Siege Hits a Grand Slam, Completing the Trump Family Trifecta
Eric Trump’s Under Siege is a triumphant addition to the Trump family’s literary legacy, delivering a deeply personal, candid, and engaging account that fulfills the hopes of fans like myself who urged him to share his story. On September 3, 2025, I posted on X, encouraging Eric to pen his memoirs, eager to hear his perspective on growing up Trump, navigating the family business, and balancing life in the public eye. Having received and finished the book today, October 14, 2025, I can say with certainty; Eric has not only answered every question I raised but has crafted a narrative that exceeds expectations, hitting a grand slam with humor, heart, and unflinching honesty.
Under Siege offers an intimate look into the Trump family dynamics, weaving together Eric’s experiences growing up under the spotlight of his father’s empire, his education at Georgetown, and his role in shaping deals like Trump National Doral. The book shines in its portrayal of sibling dynamics, echoing the playful jabs found in Don Jr.’s and Ivanka’s books while adding Eric’s unique voice. He masterfully captures the camaraderie and competition among the Trump siblings, painting a vivid picture of their bond that is both relatable and endearing. This was exactly what I hoped for a glimpse into the lively, loving chaos of the Trump household and Eric delivers it with warmth and wit.
The book goes beyond family anecdotes, delving into the challenges of intertwining business, politics, and relentless legal battles. Eric doesn’t shy away from the toll these pressures took on him, his father, and their family, offering a raw and reflective perspective on navigating public scrutiny. A standout element is the heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Ivana, whose passing is given a dedicated portion of a chapter. Eric portrays her as a cornerstone of strength, blending her influence with his father’s steadfast advice steering clear of drugs and distrusting opportunists into a narrative that underscores the values that shaped him. The mention of Ivana’s corporal punishment, paired with Eric’s admission of its effectiveness, adds a touch of humor and authenticity that grounds the story.
What elevates Under Siege is the profound love story between Eric and his wife, Lara, whose foreword radiates adoration and sets the tone for the book’s emotional core. Her role as an inspirational figure, uniting the family through turbulent times, is palpable, and Eric’s gratitude for her shines through every page. This emotional depth, combined with Eric’s ability to balance personal reflection with the broader context of the Trump Organization and political firestorms, makes the book a compelling read.
Eric’s Under Siege completes the “trifecta” of Trump sibling memoirs, leaving readers like me educated, inspired, and eager for potential future works from Tiffany and Barron. His honesty, humor, and tribute to his family’s resilience make this a must read for anyone curious about the Trump legacy. God bless Eric and his family, and here’s to Under Siege soaring in sales as it rightfully deserves.
This was a great book and explains all that Trump went through to become our 45th and 47th President. It explains Eric and Lara’s role and how they helped Trump win the elections. I have had honest belief in Donald J. Trump from the start. I knew he would do an excellent job and his 2 terms have proven he could. He exposed the Democrats for their insincere role in their proven dishonesty in our government coming into Congress and going out as rich as they could be. Trump has saved us from total oblivion and has cut off the dishonesty. That’s why they hate him! But the republicans love him and we will always support him. Read this book and learn all about Trump’s faithfulness to his people!
I really liked learning more about the Trump family. I love the reminder about how much his family truly gave up of their life to pursue making America better.
The revelations of what all the left did not make it into the news. Those that were responsible for the dirty deeds need to be jailed and made an example of. Very unnerving
I loved this book!! I loved getting an inside view of the Trump family and how they grew up and the family life. I learned a lot and was honestly surprised by some of the things I learned. This book talks about growing up as Donald Trump & Ivanna Trump’s son all through his life including having a strict mom and how he didn’t have anything handed to him especially when it came to working. This books ok covers him meeting & marring his wife. It talks about the special relationship he has with his father and how he wants to have the same relationship with his kids. It’s also talks about his dad becoming president and all the challenges that brought and all the legal challenges they faced during and after his presidency.
Overall theme is a recap of the lawfare and other attacks on the Trump family over the past decade. Some good insights into the character of President Trump.
The last ten years the politics have become truly nasty and Eric gives you an inside look. What comes quite clear is that Eric loves and respects his father, the Trump family is a strong unit !
It is incredible what the Trump family has had to endure for years. Most families would have never survived intact after the relentless attacks by media, political opponents and the lawless judiciary. I believe Eric alone received 139 subpoenas! He details much of the abuse the family suffered through, but with their heads held high, they have thrived, which is the ultimate vindication. He does admit that he is not as gracious to his enemies as his father has proven to be. Great collection of family photos too!
Memoir, politics, plus lots of DJT quotes. When Eric was leaving for school one morning, his dad said, "Don't smoke, drink, or do drugs, and don't trust anyone." He was in first grade, lol.
Im in awe of the Trump successes. The book, while not a major literary achievement, resonates with the love and passion the family has for each othet, as sell as their mission.
Thoroughly enjoyed this recap of the 3 Trump campaigns and 2 presidencies. The Trumps are smart tough business people desperately needed by our country. A good insight into courage and integrity.
Eric Trump has. Been able to take all the lies, fraud, treason, all the hidden backdoor plans. ThT the other team claims it’s not what we see as wrong they insist the sky is green and we have heard it over and over we. Now see a green sky This was a simplified way to show us how. Ivey lie and deny it I finally understand how far the country is is not in line with the creators this the Hail Mary pass and we need to get it back or the evil will Be our end nice. Job you are doing and I am thankful that you are doing all this pain thy throw at you. Never quit I appreciate how much tha has cost all of you thank you l god for keeping our hope. High we won’t quit either. Eric you rock. E t henderson
This was such a great book! I knew that the President and his family had been through a lot, but I had no idea to what extent that their political enemies went to try to destroy them. It’s sickening and disgusting that these kinds of things can happen in this country. Thank God the American people didn’t believe all the lies and corruptness. If I could give this book 10 stars, I would.
This book delivers a gripping and insightful account of legal battles and corruption, centered around a resilient family that faces immense challenges with unwavering courage. Their deep commitment to both family and country is truly admirable—a dedication that may only be fully appreciated in hindsight, beyond today’s polarized political climate. Instead of opting for an easier path by simply expanding the Trump organization, this family chose to make profound sacrifices for the nation they love. Despite relentless efforts by the media and government to undermine them, their resolve only grew stronger, fueling their mission to reveal attempts not just to defeat Trump politically, but to erase his entire legacy. This is a compelling read for anyone seeking truth, and skeptics will find comparing the book’s claims with declassified documents from the Trump administration particularly enlightening. There are valuable lessons here for us all.
Well written. Such an awesome tribute to an amazing family that people with TDS don’t realize are a real family with real relationships. I loved reading how Trump calls his sons “honey”. I loved reading how tight and supportive each family member is of each other. Eric really spells out the level of corruption in media and the justice system. Too bad no one with TDS will actually read this book. They will just continue to get their news on TikTok. Lol Trump is nothing short of amazing. I am in awe of all he has endured and never really sweated it. Incredible. Epitome of a president. I’m actually afraid of what will happen to our country without him.
This was so good… so interesting. It was fascinating to read Eric’s perspective on all the events and special people in his life and what a life already lived! Go Trumps! They are all a tough bunch and this country is fortunate to have them at the battle ready to save our beautiful country! I am fascinated to learn of the dynamics of the inner family relationships but noted there was no acknowledgement of Eric’s stepmother, Melania. She’s been in his life a long time…why no mention? Other than that, I would definitely recommend Under Siege!
I could not put this book down. Most of the time I was reading it, I was shaking my head in disbelief and my jaw was dropped. I am eternally grateful to the Trump family and their sacrifices for our county. They didn’t have to do any of this…they chose to. How many other Americans would do the same? I am weak and would have tapped out. I am highly recommending this book to everyone I know.
