WOW. Ms. Bennett you have hooked me again. I really had a hard time with Blue in the first two books in the Bound by Love series. I was skeptical. I wasn't sure I could like her knowing what I did, but she blew it out of the park with "Blue Persuasion". I have definitely been persuaded me to see her for EVERYTHING that she is. I just love how Blue fits in with her group of friends and how life was not easy for her, but she never gave in. Blakely has a way of developing these characters and you get into their heads. I felt the anguish, self doubt, and fears of Blue. I understood her so much better in this book. And wow I think I may even be coming around to Bond. Although I think he has a way to go! ;) The book keeps you involved and wanting to keep turning the pages, even when it's 2am and you have to get up at 6am. Then there is Tate, oh lord, half American and American Indian, massive, sexy, tattooed, man. The man had some serious issues, but you couldn't deny the chemistry he had with Blue in this book. OFF THE CHARTS, someone call 9-1-1 because my iPad just caught on fire!! There is kink, passion, pop, and above all else the need for these two souls to come together.

I don't want to give away any spoilers. There are many ups and downs, but is t'll worth the ride. One thing I adore about Blakely is she incorporates music into these books and I am the type of person that hears songs when I read. It was just beautiful. Great book, must read, can be read as a stand alone, but I would read the whole series because it's that damn good.

BLUE PERSUASION IS AMAZING!!!

Blakely this your best one yet from the series!
I loved catching up with the whole gang and MY RED mmmm...

I was hooked from the beginning
I can't believe how much I connected with Blue...your writing always makes me feel what the characters are feeling. I laughed (Rory with Bond was highly amusing lol.) I cried a lot too, in parts I was a blubbering mess!
I loved Tate, he was sexy as hell...especially his anaconda!
The sex scenes were SO HOT my knickers exploded. I was left horny as hell. #deathbyorgasm.
oh how I loved the ending *sigh.
SORRY NO SPOILERS. ..read it for yourself. This is an absolute MUST READ!
Well done Blakely, for yet another fantastic book x

Good grief!!! As if I couldn’t love this series or these characters anymore, Blakely Bennett has divided my heart yet again with Blue’s story. I’ll admit I was never a fan of Blue because of the small tidbits of information we were given in the first two books. I was skeptical that I would ever feel a connection with her because of her past actions and her somewhat controversial arrangement with Bond. Bennett has managed to take me from teetering from the fence on Blue to full blown stalking her.

I think the biggest part of my newfound love of Blue as a character has to deal with the explanation of her relationship or lack thereof with Bond. For both of them, it’s more of a safe outlet to fight back the demons in her past and find some semblance of peace in a non-threatening sexual situation. Blue’s past in terms of relationships both sexual and non-sexual is definitely not the first love romance story we all hoped to have at her age. Those actions have haunted every single relationship she’s ever had. Blue is a tough little cookie when it comes to fighting her way out of the darkness. Bond is her first outlet that she can fully trust, but when newcomer Tate rocks her to her very core can she move onto a new and strange place with someone who’s just as damaged as she is, or will she stick with the new comfortable she’s grown to know in Bond?

Tate’s rules and regulations of relationships really threw me for a loop. How can man who can so passionately pursue someone have so many reservations about his future happiness? But, the demons from his very own past could rival those of Blue’s. The level of chemistry between Tate and Blue’s characters and sometimes almost childlike views on how to make their relationship work really resonated to me in the sense that not everyone is emotionally ready or even stable enough to commit to someone. For those of you wondering about the steam factor about Tate… turn on the AC in your reading room and watch your panties because when Tate wants to come out to play you’ll need the fire department on call.

I think one of the many reasons I love this series is that is gives you a sense that sometimes love knows no boundaries. Not every can find what they are looking for in a single person and in order to feel comfortable in their own skin that loving more than one person may be what’s best for them. Happily Ever After’s for any individual are never going to be the same and why try forcing to stay with society’s ideas about what’s normal and what’s atypical. The addition of continuations of the other characters stories as well as the impact of Blue and Bond/Tate’s relationship on the group dynamic is also something I really enjoy. Red, Jaqs, and Bond’s story started off this wild ride and I cannot wait to see what comes next. I am particularly ready to learn more about Sam as the series continues!!!

Moving, conflicted and complicated - Blue Persuasion is a must read boo. This review is a long time coming.

When I first read about Judy aka Blue in the earlier books, I'm not too thrilled with her. In a book of her own, I'm not sure how I would like her. When I see from her eyes, I am torn. I feel badly for her and now think poorly of her friends I previously rooted for. This just goes to show you, every story has at least two sides. Seeing Bond from Blue's view is also a different perspective. It once again shows me, just because a person is not right or does not get along with you, does not mean they are a bad person. It just means the fit is not good. Bond is a good friend to Blue. He is a terrible lover, he does mean well for Blue but he still causes problems for her too. So, Bond is still a problem child for me. This story reminds me of Blue Monday from one of my favourite bands, New Order.

How does it feel to treat me like you do
When you've laid your hands upon me
And told me who you are
I thought I was mistaken
I thought I heard your words
Tell me, how do I feel
Tell me now, how do I feel

The character development in this book is incredible. Ms. Bennett pulls emotion from me, messy strands at a time. Blue is a person who tries to exercise discretion. She tries to be the friend whom her friends rely on and places people first. Yet she tries to have and hold something that is not really right for her. Her relationship with Bond is just a car accident waiting to happen. The readers know it. Blue knows it. It is nice to see Blue waking up from her rut when she comes into contact with Tate. I like and dislike Tate. Tate is good for Blue in the sense that she can see there is someone else for her. Instead of staying in her isolated world and thinking things will change, Tate is someone who inspires her to want more. And yet, Tate comes with his complications. The way Ms. Bennett builds her flawed characters, it hurts so good. It hurts because my heart breaks as we learn more about why the characters are the way they are. It is so good because it makes me fall for them a bit more. Blue and Tate are well developed complicated characters. The way they action and think represent the culmination of their past experiences.

From an erotic standpoint, Ms. Bennett knows how to crank up the heat. The sexual interludes are hot and heavy. The sexual tension between Blue and Tate is super charged. It is a nice contrast to Blue and Bond's relations. This contrast helps up the intensity. The ending comes all too soon, leaving a reader wanting more. Recommended for romance lovers who enjoy angst and new beginnings.

I wish i could rate Blue Persuasion 10 steamy stars because it is definitely well beyond 5!!! <3

Once again Blakely Bennett takes us on one crazy steamy ride that rips every single emotion out of you!!!
This has to be my Favorite thus far in the Bound by Your Love series!!
Blue has lived her life never being number one to anyone, Insecurities has her seeking comfort and friendship and intimacy from Bond, but it always has to be a secret!!!!! Blue has issues with her body due to the blatant disrespect she gets from the idiots that always hit on her for only her body!!! Will she find the ONE who will give all of the AFFIRMATION she needs??
Tate, oh heavenly Tate!!! When Tate was created, he was created with every woman's wet dream in mind!!!!! Wooooo Mama got it perfect with this beautiful speciman of a man!!!!! Of ourse we can't have perfection without damage!!! Tate is all about no strings and committment due to the betrayal of 2 of the closest people in his life.....
Will he be able to reconcile that part of him and be able to find the love and happiness he deserves? Or will he continue down the path he has perfectly created for himself not to get trampled on again??
When Blue and Tate meet for the first time, there is instant awareness and so much chemistry it could cause fireworks to combust!!!! You will not be sorry that you hopped on board for the rough ride that is oh so worth it in many many ways!!!

I simply Loved this book like no other. I was glued to every word and every scene!! The way Blakely lets you see the progression with the rest of the gang is phenomenal and it feels like they are all of your friends as well and I am waiting for Bond to give me my nickname and I am also Waiting for Tate to knock on my door!!!!!

Could this series get any better!
I really can't stress enough, how much I love Blakely Bennett's books.
She really makes you feel what her characters are going through.
In this book 3 of the Bound by Your Love series, we get to know Blue/Judy better and follow her emotional ups and downs of her journey to find her own happy ever after.
Understandably from the way she has been treated by men because of her body, Blue has some serious issues she is dealing with. Things that happened in her past and the way her present relationship with Bond makes her feel, all adds up to her low self esteem, insecurities and self doubts. To add more confusion to her feelings, enter Tate, a huge, hot'n'horny, tattooed, American Indian who is constantly giving her mixed signals.
Tate has issues of his own that he finds himself having to face because of his attraction to Blue. You can physically feel the chemistry between these two, it's so HOT!! The sex is scorching, kinky, erotic and panty melting. You just want swap places with Blue!
With the help and support of this close group of friends and her woman's group, will Blue allow herself the happiness she so deserves.
Thank you once again Blakely for yet another brilliant read!

third book in the series I had high expectations from Blakely and she did not fail ! We met Blue in previous books among her circle of friends , this time the story is hers. She has had it hard and this shows in her mundane life until she meets Tate a Native American sexpot who sparks her ignition on their first meet. They get together and with their pasts haunting them both there are bound to be ups and downs in the story , this is what keeps you reading and wanting more in Blakelys usual style for page turning novels . Loved the story from begining to end , am loving the whole series as each book is based on one or more of the characters within the friend circle but each book still involves the other friends so yu know how their lives are going also . A hot read and Im sure it will have many readers questioning themselves on certain subjects within the book which I wont disclose. Highly recommend not just the book but the series if you have not already read the first two. Well done Blakely may success be yours again xx

Another great hit by Author Blakely Bennett!! Blue Persuasion had me from the first few pages!! While I didn't like Blue at first from the other two books.. I soon learned that even someone as beautiful as Blue is full of doubts.
Everyone deserves love, but like Blue we sometimes settle for less because we think that is all we are going to get. I just love Blakely's style of writing because I am totally able to picture myself as Blue. I am able to feel Blue's emotions and that means everything to me when reading a book.

Now lets get to the good stuff. This book is full of hotness..steamy scenes that will have you panting while reading it. Who doesn't love a hot Half American/ Half Native American, full of tattoos and a nice motorcycle to boot! Tate is mouth watering good.

I learned to love Bond more in this book so read up and find out why. I am so bounded by the Bound by your love series and I am sure as soon as you read this book and the previous two books you will know why!!

This was a five star read for me and I rarely give that rating out. I loved every part of this book. It had just enough of everything, sex, romance, and conflict. Most series I love the first book and then the following books don't measure up but with the Bound By Your Love series the books keep getting better and better. I think one thing that helps is that because the characters are so interconnected their stories keep developing in each book. You keep get move of everyone.

Blue, I didn't really feel connected with her in the past books, but after reading this book I loved her. You really get to know her character and about her past and present conflicts/situations. She's been through a lot but she easily forgives, has a large heart, and loves those she cares about hard. She is also very open sexually. Both scenes between her and Bond and her and Tate were extremely hot.

Bond he's the guy you hate to love. Unable to be satisfied with one woman, yet he has so much love to give. He really grew on me in this book. He becomes less selfish and has really started to mature. He has his own way of loving, but if you're in his circle he's there for you no matter what. I loved his and Blue's relationship. The both have demons and really understand each other.

Tate, oh you HOT HOT man. He's dark and mysterious but is sexy and is packing (I believe it was referred to as an anaconda). He's been hurt in the past, doesn't trust easily, and has sworn love off. His mouth and his creativity will melt your panties off. The chemistry between him and Blue is off the charts. Seriously Blakely Bennett writes some of the best sex scenes I have ever read. They aren't too much but are extremely detailed and extremely hot.

This is a story about learning to move on from the past, loving yourself, and finding the perfect person for you. There are a lot of ups and downs and so much happens within the entire group. I love all the characters and through these books and Blakely's Writing I feel like I am part of the gang. I can't wait to see what else she has in store and which direction the story sn going to go. I highly recommend this series and although they can be read as standalones I would read them in order to get the whole effect of the group dynamic.

WOW...just wow! I don't know how else to describe it, I was drawn in from the very first chapter. To be fair I was curious about Blue from the start because she has been a very mysterious character in the series thus far kind of on the edges brought in of course by Bond as most of the group has been. We know they had a thing but didn't know the details of it till this story and I will not go in to detail about that because I do not want to ruin the story for anyone. But this story is about Blue and who SHE is, where she came from, and who she becomes. I identified with Blue a lot..... petite auburn haired, well endowed, small waist, self conscious, wonder if that is all men see when they look at me kind of girl. She had a lot of the same coping skills as I did and I felt like I was right in that story with her. I felt her reservations about Tate like I felt my reservations about my now husband when I met him. I also felt her pull back to an ex like I felt my pull back to my ex that had me moving a thousand miles away from him.

Blakely has a way of writing a story that keeps you right on the edge. I was so broke at times through this story that I wondered if I could go on but there was so much hope at the same time that there was no way I could stop reading I had to know if Blue got her happy ending. And through it all the story of this wonderful group of friends that she has created is front and center and though in my opinion it seemed Blue was on the edge of that you find that she was very much a part of it and entangled as the rest. I'm even more looking forward to Bond's story now, I have a feeling it will be an eye opener even for him. He has no idea of his own potential as a person, he doesn't realize the healing he has brought to the people in his life no matter the unconventional way in which he has done it.

This is a emotional story of two people who are struggling with their past. Judy, aka Blue, has low self-esteem, she doesn't believe she'll ever find true love. Her past has caused her to loath her body. She's uncomfortable with the way men look at her. Blue is in a secret relationship with Bond, that fulfills her sexual needs but she is still longing for more. It hurts her to be second best.

When Blue finally decides to be tattooed she meets a man who fires off all her warming bells, Tate. "He's not my type. He's huge, stoic, and all-confident, and those men are the worst trouble." Tate pursues Blue however he's upfront that he cannot give her what she needs. He's unable to love, his past has closed him off to all possibilities to love again. As their relationship develops Blue finds herself at a crossroads. She needs to decide if she can give up her crutch, Bond, and continue a monogamous relationship with Tate.

I love Blue and Tate. They are filled with angst and are emotionally charged. Their past casts a black shadow over their present. It's Blue who takes the first steps in giving herself over to Tate. She struggles in committing to their relationship because she wants more, caring is not enough. Blue wants love. She begins to learn to accept herself and follow her heart. In the end there is sadness, forgiveness, and hope. Secrets are revealed and we discover if Tate can open his heart and feel love.

Blue Persuasion is the third book in the Bound By Your Love series. Although all the books in this series can be read as standalone it's better if you read them all in order to get to know all the characters and their close knit group.I love this series and would highly recommend all the books in this series. This a HOT read and I could not put it down!! Can't wait to read more books written by Blakely Bennett.

Thanks Wicked Reads for a free copy to read and review.

Wow! I think this book should come with a WARNING label: caution this book may contain sex scenes that you will want to try. I enjoyed this book so much, and I was totally entertained. Judy a.k.a. Blue has some body image problems after a crap childhood in which she has some emotional issues about how her body attracts the opposite sex. Big breasts, and a rocking body seems to bring out the slime in most men. All she wants is a man to love her for herself. She is best friends with Bond, and they have a sexual relationship as well. She meets Tate, and all though the chemistry is there, and the possessiveness... He is damaged goods. The story unfolds at a great pace, and I loved the HEA. This is part of a series and would do better to read in order but the books can be stand alone. I loved the book, and I am so happy to be part of this blog reveal. Overall entertainment is FIVE stars.

A Sensuous, Emotional Journey

In Blue Persuasion, Blakely Bennett has given us the beautifully compelling story of Blue and Tate, two people who have had more than their share of heartache and disappointment. Ms. Bennett reveals the inner thoughts and feelings of her characters so well at times I'm convinced she has a degree in psychology. (Does she?) Blue and Tate will shove their way into your heart so deeply you will feel as if you know them.

Blue desperately wants love and a lasting relationship. Which shouldn't be all that difficult for a beautiful, intelligent woman with the body of a goddess, right? Wrong. A devastating incident when she was a teen has clouded her perception of herself. Her voluptuous figure has caused nothing but trouble and unwanted attention from insincere jerks and douchebags. Even now, at the age of 31, Blue feels she will never be more than a body to anyone. To add insult to injury she has watched longingly as each person in her close circle of friends has found their soul mate. Blue's character could easily have fallen into the whiny, annoying, poor me, however, Ms. Bennett didn't let that happen. Blue is strong and true to herself, refusing to let anyone take advantage or stomp on her heart. She keeps men at arm's length. Until Tate walks into her life.

Tate is a gorgeous, hulking man. Chiseled features reflect his American Indian heritage while shoulder length hair and tattoos hint at the bad boy within. His gruff and off-putting manner is the antithesis of the men Blue usually encounters and she is attracted to him at the onset. He appears to be interested yet his sombre personality says otherwise. Her intuition tells her to stay away from this man who must surely be damaged in some way, but there is something about Tate that Blue can't resist.

What follows is an emotional journey that kept me eagerly turning the pages. The chemistry between Blue and Tate is sizzling and oh so erotic, especially the kinky aspects they both crave. The push and pull between Blue and Tate was maddening at times, however, Ms. Bennett kept it under control and believable.

Even though Blue Persuasion is not the first in this series I had no trouble understanding the dynamics of this group of friends. What a group! I must backtrack and read the first two novels in this series!

***** 5 Cranky Stars *****

***Warning*** This book is so hot you'll need a fire extinguisher to get through it.

Blue has spent her life trying to hide her body which attracts too much attention from men. She has boobs that most women would pay big money for and a body men fantasize about.

One problem though, No one seems to be able to or want to see past her looks and give her the love she longs for.

She has a crazy group of friends that are always there for each other. The dynamics of this group are definitely unconventional but they love each other unconditionally.

While finally biting the bullet and getting the tattoo she wants, in walks Tate. A super sexy, American Indian half breed (that's what he calls himself), with a body no one can ignore and a bulge that... well you get the picture.

Blue knows right away that their chemistry is off the charts but all she sees is trouble and heartache.

If you love big hulking, anaconda swinging, heart stealing Alpha males and the women they tame then this is the series for you.

This is the 3rd book in the series but definitely can be read as a stand alone. I loved this story and was constantly fanning myself as there's a lot of down and dirty panty melting sex.

Blakeley Bennett definitely found her calling by writing this series. 5 stars from this reviewer

In the third installment of Blakely Bennett's Bound By Your Love series, we get better acquainted with Blue, the sexy redhead with a very damaged past. And we meet Tate, one of the sexiest men I've read about. I definitely have a book crush on him!
This book might have enough sex to make a porn star blush, but it's also got a plot, an actual plot, focusing on the meaning of love and not letting your past define you and rule your life. Everyone has baggage, but that doesn't mean the baggage has to weigh you down.
Blue is one of my favorite romantic female leads, dealing with issues many girls have to and dealing well with it. She's a woman trying to help and better herself and her emotional state. Tate is a mystery, but he's one you want to figure out.
While the book, as I said, has at least one (usually more) sex scene per chapter, it's not just a smut book. It's deep, and it's an excellent read. Ms. Bennett knows how to mix sexual fantasy with harsh reality and add in a dash of psychological mystique.
Let me also add that I love the use of bondage by otherwise "normal" people. They're not deviants, killers or (very) psychologically damaged. They're not abusive like some other erotica novels I could mention. They just like things a little rough, and I love that.
This is one of the most well-written erotica novels I have had the privilege of reviewing and I certainly hope that there's more coming about these characters in the future!

I loved the story of Blue and Tate. Blue is full of insecurities but she's aware of these flaws and working on overcoming them. Tate is closed off after being badly hurt in a previous relationship that ended in divorce. Blue surprised me with an on-going relationship with another character but once she meets Tate, the story quickly turns and it turns out that Tate is a perfect match for her in the bedroom even if he cannot open up emotionally.

I enjoyed watching these two grow together to become more than either were before. I cannot wait to see who will be the next in this group to fall in love.

This book was given to me by the author to read for an honest review. I give it a solid 4 stars. I really felt for Judy always being a bridesmaid and never the bride. She found that with her parents and with Bond and then again with Tate. this book pulled your heart strings and made you think about how people can settle for less than they deserve. I would definitely recommend it to other readers! great job Blakely Bennett, keep up the awesome work!

Blakely Bennett has a unique talent for drawing you in on the first chapter. I fell more in love with this book chapter after chapter. A story of a beautiful woman at the age of 31 with issues in trusting men. Always wondering if they love her for her or her fabulous body. Blue over comes many obstacles. This book is heart wrenching and also tender and touching. You will fall in love with this book just like I did. What a great story you won't be able to put down.

You've gotta love a series that can make you run the gamut of emotions in just one story. While not TECHNICALLY required, I highly recommend picking up the first 2 books in the Bound By Your Love Series and getting a real feel for the full cast of characters in BLUE PERSUASION.

Judy "Blue" Radford is sick of people only seeing her obnoxiously large breasts, slim waist and round booty. Yes, she's been blessed in the looks department, but it's been more of a curse than a blessing her whole life. Seriously, why do men think it's a compliment to offer up casual sex?! Blue and Bond have been sleeping together on and off for years, their f*#k buddy status unknown to their tight group of friends and mutually beneficial to their needs. She wishes he could be more, but is resigned to the fact that his first priority is his girlfriend Jacqs. When Blue meets Tate, a man with enough issues to rival her own, she can't deny the phenomenal chemistry they share. But Tate is still recovering from the demise of his marriage and has a huge chip on his shoulder about relationships. He holds Blue at arms' length while simultaneously drawing her closer. Tate and Bond both take two steps forward and three steps back, and Blue has had enough of being second best. For once, it's time to put herself first!

BLUE PERSUASION is the 3rd offering in the Bound By Your Love Series that focuses on the dysfunctional group of friends and the epic fails and triumphs in their lives. I loved the first two books in this series, and was anxious to read Blue's story, and WHEW, Ms. Bennett didn't disappoint! In my opinion, the sign of a great writer is their ability to elicit strong emotions, for good or bad. Ms. Bennett does that with the cheating storyline in BLUE PERSUASION. I felt no sympathy for Blue since she was sleeping with her good friend's boyfriend Bond, repeatedly, for years. Even though the situation isn't cut and dry since Jacqs is also with Red, it's STILL her friend whom she's witnessed having repeated heartbreak and anxiety over the man! So for me, I had a hard time giving a shit about the emotional turmoil Blue experienced at the hands of either Bond or Tate.

Tate was also kind of an asshat; he was rude and mean and mouthy at times, and no amount of hot hot sex can make up for the fact that he treats Blue like crap constantly...until he decides that he wants to keep her around and becomes rather obsessive. I'm not sure if that was supposed to be a sexy characteristic of the man, but to me it seemed past the point of Alpha male and straight into stalker territory.

There was a LOT of sex in BLUE PERSUASION, all of it deliciously naughty and raunchy and downright wicked. It did become a bit much after awhile and I thought the story got lost in the sex sometimes, even though it's a massive part of the plot. I did enjoy the thread of BDSM elements in BLUE PERSUASION though, and I'm very glad the author didn't make Tate a member of a cheesy leather club like every other book out there.

Bottom Line: BLUE PERSUASION will keep you on a roller coaster ride from beginning to end, just make sure you schedule some alone time with Bob and a bottle of wine! I can't wait for book 4, The Unmistakable Bond. -

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

A Dragonfly symbolizes transformation, adaptability while the cherry blossom symbolizes the beauty and the fragility of life…both represents my existence! Blue

This is the third book in Ms. Bennett’s Bound by Your Love series. It is the story of Blue and her search for where she belongs and the one she belongs there with! Characters from previous books play an important role in this latest saga. The author shows the progression of relationships in this tight group of friends and their growth within their individual stories. Blue and Tate’s story will touch your heart as the two struggles towards the redemptive power of healing.

The past haunts Judy and continues to invade her life. Her mother’s many boyfriends, her father’s betrayal and her brother’s treachery have left her feeling unloved and unworthy of love. When you add in the fact that she is always playing second fiddle to Bond and his relationship with Jacqs, it is hard to fell self-worth. Blue feels like she is his dirty little secret within their close knit group. She decides to get a tattoo to show the transition she is going through and while there meets a sexy, hot male that makes her lady parts stand up and take notice. Tate is everything she wants and at the same time everything she needs to avoid, especially when he lets her know that all he can give her is sex. What’s a girl to do? Does she break it off with Bond and take what Tate is offering?

Tate is instantly attracted to Blue but his past haunts him and it is not easy to act on the need he feels. He has secrets that refuse to let him move forward and find someone to share his life with. Tate senses that Blue is also damaged like he is and needs to heal. Betrayals by people he trusted in the past have caused him to keep his heart protected from others. Can he help Blue and at the same time heal himself? There is no denying that the pull between them is hard to resist but when he finds out there is another man involved, can he control his jealousy? Will Blue agree to a monogamous relationship, even without a future? Can he fit in with her group? Is there a happily ever after for Blue and Tate? Read this sexy, funny book to find those answers! You will not be disappointed in their story!

"Why did stupid women like me keep accepting less than we deserve?" ~ Blue

I think this quote pretty much sums up this book for me. We have seen glimpses of Judy, AKA Blue, since the first book in the series (I think to really appreciate the book you should read the first two books in the series as well). She has not always been a fan favorite, and for good reason. The chick seems to fall in bed with the guys in her group of friends pretty easily, and was not painted in the best light (AT ALL) in the first book especially. Here we find out why Blue acts the way that she does. She is a ridiculously beautiful woman who has attracted all the wrong kind of attention because people can't see past her body. She has a very shitty family, and her friends are her saving grace.

Blue and Bond (who is one of the main characters in the first book and has an ongoing threesome relationship with Jacqs and Red) have a secret sexual relationship on the side. This bothered me because I have a problem with cheating, and even though Bond's relationship with Jacqs and Red is "open" the way they went about it pissed me off. I felt that their ongoing and very blatant secrecy was very shitty to Jacqs in particular.

Enter Tate, who throws Blue for a loop because he is everything she typically doesn't go for in a guy.... tall, dark, broody, and large. He offers her a purely sexual relationship, with no love or future, and refuses to talk about any details of his life at all. He sounds like a GREAT catch, huh? She knows he is bad for her, but their sexual chemistry is off the charts, so she goes for it. I won't give away any spoilers, but there is a ton of back and forth, with Bond's jealously adding to an already explosive situation. There is a lot of drama, and it plays out both within the relationship between Tate and Blue, but also shows how friendships can change and evolve as well. (...And why screwing a great friend, who is also in a relationship with your other great friends, is never an awesome idea. Just saying.)

For me this story was about Blue and her willingness to love herself and really demand what she wanted. I enjoyed the book, and have liked the series as a whole so far. There was a lot (and I mean A LOT) of hot and dirty sex in this book, and she does sleep with both Tate and Bond (though there are no threesome scenes). There are some elements of BDSM as well (bondage, safewords, flogging) and also female ejaculation. The waterworks are plentiful and frequent. I remember thinking at one point that I hope poor Blue is drinking enough water to supplement her output. Anyway, I would recommend this book, but it isn't a fluffy read, and there is some definite angst. You don't love all of the characters all of the time. Although there is a resolution to Tate & Blue's relationship, the group as a whole has some issues they need to work out (understatement). The next book is Bond's and I'm excited to see where this dysfunctional group of friends go from here. Enjoy!

“Holy Jesus Mother Murphy!”

Judy “Blue” Radford has a penchant for using the term “Holy” with any string of epithets you could possibly string with it. It’s one of the most endearing qualities she has along with her ability to be all-forgiving to those that probably don’t deserve the second, third or numerous other chances she is always giving. But what connected me most to Blue was her self-image and the fact that she felt she was always playing second fiddle with all the men in her life. I so got her feelings about being overly buxom and having every perv around her constantly hit on her without the slightest provocation. Don’t even get me started on men that make a woman feel she is inadequate or that’s she is always second best. If there is one thing Blue is tired of, it’s always being second, if at all. For years now, she has been Bond’s secret lover while he expends all of his energy and love on Jacqs. Well not all of his love, because Bond does truly love her, just not in that end all, be all way she really craves. And, she does love Bond, but when it comes down to reality he isn’t her end all, be all either.

Enter one motorcycle riding, sexy, tattooed, American Indian, hot as sin English Professor, Tate. Too bad, he has a major chip on his shoulder. He absolutely swears he will not love Blue, he doesn’t want a relationship and he’ll let her go if Mr. Right appears. He wants to know everything about her but refuses to share the smallest of details about himself. He’s jealous and possessive. Ummm, anyone else seeing the writing on the wall here? This boy has a hell of a past he’s keeping under wraps and some major trust issues to work his way through, but at the same time he is such a keeper. And, holy schiznit, talk about sex on a stick. If dominant men handy with a length of rope, floggers, paddles, clamps and the like are your thing, then Tate is sure to please.

You might ask why I bring up Bond when this is definitely a story about Blue and Tate, but although this is not a ménage story it is definitely a love triangle. Or, should I say triangles? Bond has a habit of ending up in these situations. His relationship with Blue and the love they hold for each other plays heavily in this story. Bond is ultimately Blue’s best friend. He’s also a day late and a dollar short when he realizes just how much he really cares for her. I really came to like him in Stuck in Between, but Bond really started to shine for me in Blue Persuasion. I can’t wait to see him find his HEA.

Blue Persuasion really hit home for me. The whole story resonated. I really wanted to kick Tate in the butt and tell him to wake the hell up and see what was right in front of him. I wanted to hug Blue and be her absolute bestie. I had an affirmation sticky phase in my own life at one time. I will never see those little yellow post its in quite the same way ever again after Blue Persuasion. This is one book I totally recommend.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Blue Persuasion! Judy, aka Blue to her friends, is a 31 year old female who is part of the group of friends introduced in the Bound by Your Love series. Blue is a very voluptuous female with very large ample breasts and a large bottom to go along with it. She blossomed very young and has been viewed as a sexual object from a very young age and attracts the attention of men quite easily. She complains frequently that she thinks that is all that men want from her...sex and considers her body a curse for this reason. She also enjoys light BDSM and shares this interest with Bond, a male in their group of friends, however does this secretly without coming out to their group of friends. Bond and Blue share a close, loving friendship but admit that is all they are, friends.

Another in the group of friends, Cat sets Blue up with one of her tattoo customers, Tate. Okay...I must stop here and say that when I read the description and the banter that went back and forth between the women in the group about Tate, all I could think about was the song Baby Got Back and the specific part: "My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon!" LMAO! I swear it played over in my head over and over. I started to put it on the playlist but thought better of it! LOL! Anyways, Tate is a tortured soul who has problems moving forward from his past and is a large build man with a very impressive package, hence the nickname Anaconda. He says he only wants to be friends with benefits with Blue and once again makes her feel like she is not good enough for a relationship, but rather is just good for sex. She continues with Tate even though her mind is telling her to move on, her heart says that he is in denial and feels a closer connection that he wants to admit.

I can honestly say I didn't really like Blue's character in the previous books. I think it was because she had not really been "developed" into the depth of a character she is now and that we didn't know her "story." I actually like Blue now and love how her story has developed. She is a strong, courageous woman with a heart full of love to share. I liked Tate's character too, however felt that Blue was actually too good for him at times, meaning she was too giving and forgave too easily. That is in Blue's character though, she is easily forgiving--there are far worse qualities to have in my opinion! Overall this is a very sexy, steamy read with awesome erotic scenes. Enjoyable read I highly recommend! Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to read Blue's story!

Blue Persuasion is the 3rd book in the Bound By Your Love Series, which revolves around a group of people and their romantic lives and friendships with each other. Blue persuasion centers on Judy, a.k.a. "Blue" to her circle of friends.

Blue
Blue is a thirty-one year old woman who just wants to feel like she’s enough. Having had a pretty traumatic childhood at the hands of her family, she struggles with insecurities about her body and the way men regard her because of it. She is in a secret relationship with Bond, one of the guys in her group of friends, who from the first book (Stuck In Between) we know is in a complicated situation. Blue longs to feel loved and wanted, but has convinced herself that finding someone who considers her worth making a commitment is just not in the cards for her.

Then she meets Tate. From the minute Blue lays eyes on Tate, she finds him attractive, but very intimidating. Her past, along with her insecurities cause her to try to convince herself (and everyone else) that Tate is not her type, but she can’t deny the pull she feels towards him.

Tate
Tate is forty-three. He’s Native American, he’s big, he’s smart, and he rides a Harley. His past has left him slightly jaded, so any type of relationship is out of the question for him. As soon as he meets Blue, he is instantly attracted to her, but he doesn’t want to be. He proposes a friendship between them, but fights to ignore his growing feelings.

****************************************************************************

I have to say that this series is just awesome! Each book is better than the last! As you would expect from a Blakely Bennett novel, the HEAT factor in this book will not disappoint you, and there is A LOT of it!

Blue Persuasion is probably my favorite out of the series so far. I really enjoyed the interaction between all of the characters. There is a big emphasis on friendship, family, and forgiveness, and how family is not just made up of the people you share a bloodline with. Family is anyone who takes the time to love, care for, and support you.

I loved watching the relationship between Blue and Tate change and grow from two people biding their time until something better came along, into something meaningful. It’s always nice to see people you care about get their happy ending. I’m looking forward to reading about Bond’s Happily Ever After next!

At 31, Judy "Blue" is looking for someone who will care about her for who she is and not for her physical proportions. She's been put 2nd in most relationships in her life, and she is tired of it. She meets Tate through a friend while getting a tattoo, and while she feels drawn to him, he sets off all her alarms.

I loved the first two books in this series, and I loved this one as well. One of the things I really enjoy about this series is that I find myself quickly caring about characters I didn't expect to connect with. It happened with Lanie in Bittersweet Deceit, and Blue with this installment. After each book in this series, I find myself with more and more characters that I really care about. I love how the author doesn't shy away from the messiness that goes along with friendship, sex, love, and life. There is some serious drama going on with these characters, but through it all the level of friendship and loyalty they all share is really endearing.

The chemistry between Tate and Blue is spectacular. They issues they both have make it tough to see how they will be able to fit together, but watching them struggle with their demons as they tried to find happiness was quite the journey. My emotions were all over the place while reading this book, but I always consider it a success for the author if they can get me feeling even if some of the feelings are uncomfortable.

This book could probably stand alone, but I would highly recommend reading the other books in the series for full impact. There was a moment early on in the story where I made an audible sound of surprise, and that was solely due to my previous relationships with the characters from earlier books. I adore this series and will definitely seek out more books by this author in the future.

**I received an ARC for an honest review.**

I am just going to start with why I didn't give the full FIVE stars and get that out of the way. It was Blue and her willingness to stay in relationships that weren't healthy for her (at the time). Even though that part of her personality rubbed me the wrong way it was also one of her endearing qualities because Tate was so damaged that he needed someone like her to bring him back.

So, I got that out of the way...phew! Now let's get down to all the nitty gritty sexy details. Now Tate definitely gives Stay a run for his money in the uber sexy department. I LOVED every sinful thing that man said and did in the heat of the moment. I especially loved the immediate attraction you could feel between Tate and Blue from the very first meet and greet. Man alive was there sexual tension between those two right off the bat and I just knew that Blue would cave and so would Tate. But, I will give it to Tate for first trying to stick with friendship...but I really enjoyed watching them both fall into each other. Their sexy scene are off the charts and oh so awesome.

Now, I also loved getting to know Blue and what made her who she was. I like that she was such a loving person even if it was not in her favor to be. She really was a forgiving person when it came down to it and that is just what Tate needed in a lover. I couldn't wait for her to tear down Tate's walls so that she could finally get her chance at real love. I did not see the Bond thing coming, but I am so glad that she realized what her path was supposed to be instead of falling into the easy and comfortable.

That group of friends is so solid and maybe, just maybe a little too close sometimes ;) but it works so well for this series. I am looking forward to what comes next...I am hoping it is Bonds story and hopefully more about Rory. This series is definitely a must read series especially if you like the super sexy and steamy scenes. Ms. Bennett sure knows how to get the juices flowing...if you know what I mean ;)

This book has made me an official Blakely Bennett fan.

Blue is a thirty year old woman who's been unlucky in love thanks to a voluptuous body that makes men see her as an object first and a person second, if ever. Tate is a sexy forty-three year old whose still recovering from a bitter divorce that left him heartbroken and jaded when it comes to love. Put this unlikely pair together and the sparks fly.

This book is the third installment in a series but is perfectly capable of standing on its own. Having not read the other two books before this one, something I intend to remedy soon, I had no trouble keeping up with the story and its many colorful and engaging characters.

One thing the author did here, that you don't see done enough, is to wait until after the first chapter to introduce the male lead. Instead, she gives us a first chapter devoted entirely to Blue and we start to understand what makes her tick.

I was in love with Tate from the start. The fact that he's older set my heart racing and it just took off from there. Tate was unbelievably complex character. Just when I thought I had him figured out, he threw me for a loop. There were times when I wanted to slap him on Blue's behalf, but when he finally opened his heart and let Blue, and us, in on the sordid details of his divorce, we all felt for him.

And the sex scenes were off the charts. Every time I get to that first sex scene in a novel, I always cringe because I never know if it's going to read like a sex manual or if the author will be able to pull it off. Blakely's sex scenes were superb and well blended in the story. They were erotic but not simply sex for the sake of sex or for creating shock value.

I'm looking forward to reading more of Blakley's work.

Book #3 in the Bound by Your Love series

I was able to read this book in two and a half days with a lot of breaks (not because I wanted to, but life beckons) and I have to say, this is a wonderful addition to this series. I had already been a fan of these books but Blue's story really was enlightening not only for her as a character but to several of the other characters as well. Author Blakely Bennett does a wonderful job in how she writes and creates this close group of characters. Her writing style is fun and easy to read but also very well crafted.
I also believe that this is the best of these three books so far. Blue's story really touched me and I had moments of crying and rooting her along on this journey. All the ups and downs and tough subjects that came to life in this book just drug my heart in all kinds of directions which is a great quality of a book. There were a few slow moments but not a lot which was nice. Very few grammatical mistakes which is always a highlight for me. I can spend more time reading rather than "okay this is wrong". The steamy scenes are just as hot if not hotter than the other two books in the series. I love how the author experiments with different situations in her books. Not the same old stuff over and over.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series and see what happens with Bond and also what the past characters have in store for me. So I give this 5 stars. Great Job!
