This romance series will sweet you off of your feet! Each story is standalone yet seemlessly continues from one book to another. I loved each and every one of them!!

Fantastic Series! Great romance stories that deal with some heavy issues. I have posted my reviews for each book below.

After Math: Another GREAT book by Denise. I loved the story. It is the good girl falling for the bad boy on campus but with a different twist. I'm not going to summarize the book, you can get that in the book summary. Denise does it once again and pulls you into the story and the characters. I felt the connection happening between the hero/heroine. You also feel the struggles and insecurities that they are both dealing with. Denise has a way of telling a story and making you feel like you are there apart of it.

Redesigned: This book teaches you not to judge a person by their first impression. Caroline and Reed meet and there is an instant attraction and major chemistry. However, they both make assumptions about each other and end up just pissing each other off.

When they do finally give in to their desires and wants it is HOT, STEAMY and SEXY!! They make a Fantastic couple. Denise does an excellent job of creating realistic backstories that aid in the development of the story and the relationship of the characters. I loved seeing them "Redesign" themselves and learn to trust each other with their pasts and secrets. They have become one of my favorite couples of the series.

And I love Tucker in this book! He is so protective of Caroline, all because he loves Scarlett so much. Tucker and Scarlett are great in this book as well.

Business As Usual: This book deals with very real and hard issues. Lexi is trying to overcome and move on from being attacked almost a year ago. She sees herself as broken and never being able to be intimate without freaking out.

Enter Ben. He is dealing with his own issues and is pissed off at the world, taking it out on those around him. Then he meets Lexi, or Alexa to him. There is just something about her that gets to him.

They have an instant connection. Ben is so sweet and tender with her even before he knows what she's been through. They hardly know each other yet he would do anything to protect her. You can feel the love growing between these two.

Caroline and Reed are very much present in this book and are going through hard times. Reed is the big brother that would do anything for his baby sister, even risk losing the woman he loves. The story has you wondering what is going on with Reed and hoping he opens up to the women in his life.

Loved how the characters dealt with the tough issues and grew from their experiences. Lexi and Ben are a great couple and terrific together.

Pretty decent series not my favorite from denise but nothing from her that I have read so far has been disappointing!! This romance series has what you could call semi typical romances but with out the cliche.. it has the struggles of dark times in life with the gain of finding love with realistic, believable and loveable characters

AFTERMATH:
Scarlett is not one to be taken advantage of and I think that throws Tucker for a loop, "you said three o'clock, Tucker. It's now three twenty-two. You're late, and my time is valuable." Tucker and Scarlett help one another find each other. Tucker is very protective of Scarlett, "I don't give a eff if you talk about me. But I do give a eff how you're talking to Scarlett." Scarlett sticks up for a Tucker, "Tucker did not beat up Daniel it was just one punch." Tucker has such a way withe words, "but if you keep making those noises like that, I'm liable to rip the rest of your clothes off and finish this too soon." I liked this book it was different from others that I read.

REDESIGNED:
I have to say I liked Denise's other book in the 'Off the Subject' series but I loved this one. Reed you can tell he has balls, "is it my major that throws you off or the fact you can't do your laundry on my abs?" Caroline also has balls and says things she doesn't mean in the spur of the moment, "there's no way you'll make much money as a professor. Nothing that could compete with a respected attorney. Besides, Dylan looks like a Greek god and his family has money. Why wouldn't I want to go out with him?" Reed is a bossy man and the attraction between these two is off the charts, "I mean see each other, and of course this too. This is why we can't stay away from each other." His voice lowers. "But the next time we do this, I want it to be in a bed." He voices his thoughts which is always good in a man, "if it makes you feel better, I was thinking about you naked too. That's priority number one the next time we have sex. I want to see you completely naked. Wearing heels." Ready for the next book in the series.

BUSINESS AS USUAL:
Ben is pretty protective of Lexi, "I get up and turn on a lamp on my dresser, flipping off the overhead light. "Don't you two have something else to do other than stand there and mentally undress her?" Lexi I loved her she's just adorable and vulnerable, "her eyes turn glassy. "I worried you wouldn't want me anymore. I didn't come to get my purse and I -" I pull her against my chest as my mouth claims hers again. The saying action speaks better than words seems appropriate here." Ben he's always willing to make sure his girl is good and loved, "he stands up straight and spins around, then steps between my open legs and pulls my body flush against his. His erection is pressed firmly against my crotch. His eyes darken as his mouth lowers to mine. "As I said, I aim to please." He's also always willing to make sure his girl knows he's on board with her, "how can you even say that?" I ask. "Patience? We're experimenting with other positions. Do you know how many guys would kill to be in my shoes?" Book 2 in this series is still my favorite but I have to say this one comes in second place.

An enjoyable, fun, angst-filled college romance series.

After Math - 4 Star Read - After Math was my favorite book in the series. You will fall in love with Tucker and Scarlet's journey. I loved that it was not have over the top angst. I'm not much of an angsty girl. Instead it was a very relatable story of two seeming opposite people who finally find love and acceptance they never though possible.

Re-Designed - 3.5 star read - The first half of the book was just okay for me. Caroline seemed different in this book then she was in the first book and I didn't much like her in the beginning. The second half of the book was amazing. It was emotional, heartfelt, heartbreaking and honest. Caroline finally let her guard down and we got to see her pain and finally understood what drove her. Reed also grew on me too.

Business As Usual - 3.5 star read - Wow, Lexi's story was powerful, heartbreaking and ultimately hopeful. I was not expecting her story to pack the punch it did, but her emotional journey from victim to victor had me feeling all the feels.

The Off the Subject series are sweet romances of college-aged young adults and I think it’s a really great series! The three books focus on three separate girls, who are either friends or acquaintances with each other, and their own love story, but the girls are all incredibly different from each other and so are the three books. You’re able to see the vastly different personalities and the way they react to each situation and I think it makes each book unique. I loved After Math because I really relate to Scarlett, I loved Redesigned because I really like the story between Caroline and Reed, and I loved Business As Usual because the events in the story are really different from anything I’ve read. These three books definitely could be stand alone books but I like them in this series because you get a little bit of everything. Five stars from me!

That was GOOD!!! Beautiful love stories that intertwines the trust and socialization challenges the two characters face, the insecurities that past events made. It's more a discovering true yourself and finding the way back to who you really are. Full of fun, love and laughters, you will love this series for sure!
I love Swank's writing style. She does the magic to you loving her Characters as if they are your family. Couldn't put each and every book of this series down!!

I loved this series! Scarlett's story was my favorite just because I can relate to it a little bit. But Caroline and Lexi's stories were just as good. And I love when we still get time with the characters in the other books.

She can having you literally laughing out loud or crying that ugly cry with a turn of the page. The woman is a literary genius. Denise Grover Swank has this incredible knack for making you fall head over heels for her characters. You become invested in their well being and you are left wanting nothing but the best for them. I have read everything DGS has published and have loved each and every one of them!

A trilogy of feels!

I have written reviews of previous (individually) verified purchases and posted them below!

The aftermath of After Math
I started out kind of hating this story. I may just be too critical as I'm not a big fan of contemporary romance. However, After Math won me over in the end!

Yes, it was a boy meets girl and they fall in and out and back into love type of story. I appreciated the fact that Scarlett and Tucker had dark histories and issues to confront. I did not appreciate that their relationship moved so fast, but that issue was covered within the plot of their tale. I found myself rooting for them to make their relationship work out.

Denise wrote a story that reels you in and sets you firmly in Scarlett's shoes. I'd give After Math a 4.5, but this ratings doesn't system work that way. Five stars.

Not so sweet Caroline
I hate to say this, but Redesigned is probably my least favorite DGS book to date. She's an excellent writer. I feel like this is more a reflection on me than it his her writing. I'm just not into this specific genre and I read it out of a place of wanting to branch out. I now know my limitations.

I LOVED Reed and despised Caroline. She was insufferable. I was curious about her from her interactions in After Math, but I couldn't stand her story. She was selfish, self-centered, and only got out of pity mode after the fabulous rich guy fell for her. My back ground isn't too dissimilar from hers, but I'm certainly not destined for a HEA. There's more than overcoming your past than simply aiming for more dollar signs and marrying into a higher social status. Ultimately I think that's where the story ended up, but the journey was infuriating.

If you're truly into new-adult college romance, then this is the book for you. There's steamy sex, plenty of angst, and enough emotional insecurity to warrant some self reflection and maybe a little therapy. :) Denise is a fantastic writer and I think I'm going to stick to her urban fantasies and sci-fi work. ***3.5 STARS***

Anything but Business as Usual
Writing this review was never going to be easy, because I found this story simultaneously too close to home, and so far from reality that I haven't been able to reconcile how I feel about it since I first read it. Business as Usual is by and large the best book in the Off the Subject series.

Lexi and Ben couldn't be more perfect and deserving of each other. Their journey was beautiful, heartwarming, and all around wonderful (well... when their journey finally started 1/3 of the way through the book.) I was suspicious of Ben for a while, but it quickly became clear that he was innocent and his ex was a complete nutcase. Reed was kind of an overbearing jerk (in Redesigned it didn't seem as off-putting, but here I wanted to punch him.) Yes, everything was okay by the end, but gosh. He just needed to back off and let his sister live her own darn life. Finally, there's Tina. I think we can just delete her from the story and forget she ever existed. Is that okay with you?!

Business as Usual is a good story, so don't let me distaste for the genre change your mind. Denise is a wonderful writer and this story of healing might just be the right thing for you! ****4 STARS****

Aftermath - after finishing the Rose Gardner series and being hooked to Denise's style of writing, i decided to start with the Off the Subject series, again this series grabs your full attention and absorbs you into romance and trauma that lust brings! it was also nice to re-live those uni days without having to go through it all again in real life.an absolute must read for all DGS readers.

Redesigned - I just couldn't put this book down, and wanted to know all the details as the story unfolded. The chemistry between Caroline and Reed is described in such detail, you can easily imagine watching them as they argue and thinking "get a room". It's well written, flows smoothly and will make you laugh, cry and feel for Caroline and Reed. Definitely one to read.

Business as usual - I was given an arc for a honest review, well....this book is the hottest one yet from the off the subject series. I love the way Denise has woven in Lexi's backstory giving you a greater understanding of what a rape victim goes through on a daily basis and the effect it it has on her personal well being. for Lexi to then find a love interest who has been the accused, lets just say we all knew how Reed was going to take that! ! Who knew there were so many gorgeous guys in a maths department! !

I started this series because I love Denise Grover Swank's writing and the way she brings characters to life! The stories were fast easy reads and hard to put down. Scarlett and Tucker, Reed and Caroline, and lastly Lexi and Ben's backgrounds were very different, but yet they made the relationships work. I love how the stories are all different, but the characters that you meet and love in Aftermath continue to grow through Business As Usual. I enjoyed all of the books, but I think I would have to say Business as Usual was my favorite of the series!

This series is what made me love romances. Before this, I didn't read strictly romances. I thought they were dumb and all those whimsical lusty dime store novels. No sir. Not this. This is some sort of alpha level romance that will make even someone like me, a strict No-Romance reader, buy in. I am so glad I listened to suggestion!

This series will have you laughing, crying, wanting to smack people upside the head, cheering, and best of all believing in romance and love.

Three great romance novels in one complete set is a wonderful thing! While you don’t have to read these stories as a set they’re such great stories you really should! I loved reading about Scarlett, Caroline and Lexi so this is quite a treat! All of the characters have their own personalities so even though they are all college students their stories are not repetitive at all. You will really grow to love these characters and feel for them. I still can’t decide whose story I loved the most.

This set is sexy, adventurous, and a touch mysterious -- just what I need to keep turning the pages! It's a fast read, and very hard to put down. The stories are all three intriguing and have separate and only slightly intertwining story lines, but you won't be disappointed. The characters come to life, and Denise does a fabulous job of giving plenty of information so you can feel like you really know each of the title characters.

I want to give more stars than 5 to this set. This set is worth at least 20 stars. Not only do you have my favorite (Aftermath) you have Business as Usual and ReDesigned. These are great love stories. No, they are not your typical boy meets girl and they fall in love. These books actually have real life messiness to them. They are wonderful to read!!

Another incredible series! Denise Grover Swank has done it again! From Scarlett's story in After Math, Caroline's story in Redesigned, and Lexi's story in Business as Usual, the characters are believable and lovable. The stories are engaging and well-written. This is a thoroughly enjoyable series.

This is a great college romance series! 3 books, 3 set of people. Scarlett and Tucker, Caroline and Reed, Lexi and Ben. I thought book one was a cute story, but books two and three carried me away. I love those characters much more, feeling their lives and struggles more. Denise is an incredible writer and this is another great series!

I have to say, this Box Set is not my usual genre. With that being said, What A Great Story Line!

A math whiz and a soccer jock, a fashion design student and a charity organizer, and the story goes on. I didn't think I would enjoy this series but boy was I wrong. The interaction between the characters and the story lines were well written and easy to get in to. As a whole, very good read.

These three books are a great set of books to read on Vacation I took these with me and read through them in a heart beat. This is a great collage romance. If you love any of Denise's books then you will love this set. The story travels through three girls lives and weaves them together in a way you will want to see what happens next. This is a must in your reading.

I love how all three books work seamlessly with each other.

If you have been on the fence about these, don't! They are amazing reads!!
